I have attached a project dashboard template for your reference. The Dashboard will be in a PowerPoint slide format. Restrict it to a max of 12 slides. Be specific and focused on the topic at hand. The Project has the following components:(1) Select a public problem (what should be done to manage the impact of COVID-19 on Florida’s Economy?(2) Showcase and justify the problem using the relevant primary or secondary data. Secondary data is any openly available data such as the American community survey, American census data, magazine or newspaper articles, research articles, or any other as you find relevant. If the secondary data is insufficient for your project purposes, then you can also collect primary data such as conducting a short online survey, a zoom interview, or direct observations, etc. For example, if you are selecting the problem of homelessness in the City of Fort Lauderdale – you may want to interview relevant stakeholders concerning this issue (i.e. government officials, non-profit professionals, or community members). Please remember that the data collection activity is not mandatory but another suggested option. So, plan it accordingly, based on your group’s time management issues.(3) Analyze the existing policy(s) concerning the public problem you have chosen. You can utilize policy analysis tools which we will cover in the first part of the class.(4) Suggest at least four policy alternatives.(5) Recommend the final policy alternative to the concerned government.
