This creates effective function. Different types of capital include assets and finances. It can be in the form of property or money. It comes in lump sums for start up business or used to continue the function properly. Social capital is important for the work of social entrepreneurs because it helps to build strong relationships within a community as well as coming together to further develop their environments. Social Entrepreneurship, Praszkier and Nowak, page 80R2I feel as if the first stage of development of the vibrant network is most important. The first stage is the enabling structure. This is important because without a solid base to stand on or start from then the rest of the “structure” could fall or become weak. Without the outlet to provide many possibilities then the network would have limited possibilities.R3A social activist is an individual who works to achieve the goal of a social or political change. This can include something as simple as mandating a certain building within the community. An activist can write a letter to petition. As a woman I’ve always learned about Gloria Steinem and she has been a feminist activist and leader for over 4 decades. A social entrepreneur is an individual who builds with the goal in mind that they are going to solve a social problem or something that is effecting a social change. The difference between these two are the goals that they are aiming for. Entrepreneurs address social issues and do things to actually solve it. Activist will address the issues without doing anything or being vocal enough to fix it.
