1.There are several potential problems that are already affecting the criminal justice system. As many people are commiting more crimes, over crowding and the population is one of the biggest problems that is being faced along with having the room to house all of those that are incarcerated. The lack of certain resources that should be provided to some and not to others could pose a problem for future funding due to the unbalancing of treatment. The only way to solve this problem would be to try and educate those that are getting in trouble from early ages. These are the targeted groups that are likely to commit crimes that will land them in prison. WIthout enough resources and for some enough time I do not really seeing this happen. Releasing those that are in prison with minor offenses such as fraud should have other means for rehabilitation, this crime is bad but its not as bad as murdering someone2.There are many different future problems in the correctional system. Some of things which will continue to be over crowding in the prison setting. Another thing is going to be underfunding. If the crime rates keep going up and up, then there will need to be more officers in the jails and prisons which will cause underfunding. Things that have lead or will lead to these things are crime rates. They will forever grow unless something major happens to where it does not. I feel as if we can solve these issues by putting people on parole and probation more. This is will allow for there to be some change, and things to get figured out better than what is really going on. If it a small crime such as drug charges (to an extent), then they should not get prison time. That should be saved for rapist and murders. This will all effectively show improvement in the system and show others that it is not really a “game” to get into that type of trouble.
