Grade Breakdown:

Make two responses to your classmates’ posts (just two, not two per person!!!) for full credit!

Note: This is how all discussions will work: You will make your initial “post,” and then “respond” to two of your colleagues “posts!”  Discussions are worth 50 Points (sometimes more for Two-chapter Weeks).
Your “post” is worth 30 Points, spread evenly across the number of questions, which can change.  Each question is graded for clarity, completion, and correctness.  Your answers must have depth, and they must always be:

Enumerated or labeled
Academic, College-level writing
In complete sentences!!! (This isn’t middle school…)
Grammatically correct as possible
I am not giving a sentence count, but I see know the way that any question could be “fully” answered in less than 3-5 college-level sentences!

Responses are worth 20 Points (10 points each), and they must directly address the issues and points made in the “post” to which you are responding!  No “Great Job,” “I really like,” or “I wish I would have thought of that.”  That is just silly fluff!  Since this class is solely discussion-based, I need these to be taken seriously.  You read, you right, you discuss… that’s it.
