I live in a small town in VA, directly in the middle between Washington DC and Richmond. I also after this quarter only 3 classes from obtaining my bachelor’s degree. Going back to school was not the easiest choice for me. I am the mother of 6 children, 2 of which are my husbands from a previous marriage. Which we have all of the children full time. Their ages range from 15, 15, 12,11,4, and 2. I work full time at our local electric company, in which I have been employed with them over 12 years now. I want to be able to secure a position in my company on an executive level. In order to so, my employer sent me back to school 3 months after having my last child. However, hard work and perseverance have paid off tremendously. I am egger to start this course and learn vital components needed for small business management. I am also excited to get to know each one of you, as we grow together. This course for me is essential since with being in management it offers further enriching thought processes. When consider small business’s societal contributions to all employees, customers, investors, and community many factors play a heavy role in incorporating all in. If I were a small business owner I would want to serve all aspect of each. My employees, I would offer great incentives for a job well done. I would always provide excellent services to my customers, investors, and community. Since, without them I am not a business.All business small and large have an obligation to meet ethical and maintain a social responsibility. I always want to ensure integrity, communication, growth, respect, service, and overall just a better way of doing business throughout. This is a little about me, and my thoughts on small business.
