1. n my current workplace there was a recent acquisition of another company. This is a major change that the organization has recently undergone. This organizational change is huge and can make or break the direction that the company is moving. Staying competitive in the global market is so important along with keeping up to date with remaining relevant. These things have to be considered when change is happening. Lack of consideration can’t be detrimental to the company as a whole.
Organizational change is driven by many factors. one of the main ones that come to mind is profit. If the company is losing money or not meeting goals, then change is needed. Another factor for organizational change is the work environment. Many organizations (large organizations) contract with survey companies to so employee engagement surveys to see how the employee views their work climate and get suggestions on how to improve the work environment if needed. I personally like it when the company takes their time to do surveys and get opinions of the employees. It shows they care about the employees and want them to have a good work environment.
2. The relationship with organizational change is how the daily operations keep the business going especially with technology that changes often. The organizational change is the business does personal change, unplanned change if something occurs. The importance of this relationship with any business is to set and maintain goals and develop a strategy. For an example Amazon use to be just an online book app. However, amazon did a different approach and now well known for their services and their different offers to their customers and vendors
How much does this relationship drive change? This relationship drive change because of the different benefits that are offered to staff, customers, third parties everyone wants in with amazon because of their well-known services.
What other factors drive organizational change? When an owner of his business not only care about himself and his business but his staff and customers is his top priority. This positive factor matches the needs, wants, and the feedback to drive this organizational change. People really want to work for a business that they can depend on and feel good with working with.
