Respond to Joshua:Version-controlled software is a way that multiple people can work simultaneously on a single project. Each person working on the project has a local working copy of the project. From there they can add or edit it as needed and then choose when to share the changes to the main shared project that the team is working on. The trunk is meant to be the base of a project. From the trunk branches are able possible in case changes are made at the same time and then they will merge back to the main trunk as a new version. Some of the basic functions usually include the checkout which will give each person working on the project their personal working copy of the project. Then you have the commit function which moves edits from your local copy to the main copy of the project. Merge function combines edits by two different users simultaneously (Ernst, 2018).When it comes to peer reviews some of the DOs include reading the entire piece before starting your review. Next would be to find strengths in their work, and when you do have suggestions make sure you frame them in the form of a question and make sure they are specific and not vague. For the DON’Ts when it comes to peer review there are a few things to stay away from. First, when making reviews do not include any emotional comments and avoid using exclamation points or any personal references to the author. Second, do not use phrases such as “I don’t believe†or similar language. Lastly, do not critique every tiny detail, just because you would have done it a little differently doesn’t make how the author did it incorrectly (McCarthy, 2017).The Scrum process is based on incremental development that consists of two to four-week sprints. Each sprint’s goal is to build the most important features first and come out with a deliverable product. More features are added in subsequent sprints and are adjusted based on customer feedback. The benefits of this are products that are built faster and allow teams to focus on specific objectives and will increase productivity (What Is Agile Scrum Methodology?, 2020).BibliographyErnst, M.
