Step 3. Do research about the topic that the news article addresses. Find related articles (from various sources including newspapers, magazines, websites, or books) that provide background information and different viewpoints. Identify key dilemmas or issues, gather related information and data, discuss relevant theories underlying the events, and carefully consider any alternative arguments. 
Explain what short sellers and hedge funds (except for activist hedge funds are in your presentation). Also, you will need to focus on ethical and normative side of the story, rather than on finance, investment, and stock market. Step 4. Based on your research and discussion in Step 3, develop contents for the presentation. Before you start creating presentation slides, think about the overall structure of the presentation, your position , and questions you want to ask the audience. When making the slides, focus on the contents rather than the appearance (e.g., photos, videos, or animation).Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides are acceptable. At a minimum, the presentation should include the following components:

1) A brief overview of the topic
2) Additional information relevant to the topic
3) Analysis of the issues using theories and concepts from this course
4) Three to five questions for the audience [may not necessarily be placed at the end of the presentation]

Step 5.Each presentation must include at least three to five questions for the audience (see Item 4 in Step 4 above). The presenters will facilitate the questions and answers. You may also allow the audience to ask questions during the presentation.Presentation grades will be based on the following rubrics: 6

Presentation slides (3 points)
Presentation slides are submitted on time (i.e., one day before the presentation): 1 point
Presentation slides include all components identified in Step 4 above: 2 pointsIn-class (Zoom) presentation (7 points)
Relevant theories and concepts are correctly used and applied to the case: 2 points
Demonstrates effective time management (i.e., within two minutes of 15 minutes): 2 points
Demonstrates good facilitation skills that motivate audience participation and moderate discussion with credibility, respect, and professionalism: 1 point
Demonstrates effective communication skills (enthusiastic, engaging, speaking clearly at a comfortable pace, genuinely connecting with audience, maintaining eye contact): 1 point.
