For example, if you use a Motorola G8 phone, staying aware of any security problems related to that phone is probably not a bad idea. The same is true for the hardware and software that you use. Awareness of the problem is the first step in the solution. As a security professional, I would suggest developing a list of sites, blogs, podcasts, etc., that keep you up on current security events.
