solved Building on your knowledge of narrative structure and plot, now
Building on your knowledge of narrative structure and plot, now we will start working on the final story assignment: the pick-your-path story!More commonly know as “Choose Your Own Adventure” or interactive storytelling, your final assignment will a chance to dazzle us with your storycrafting skills. We will continue with our focus on strong characterization, setting, plot, dialog, conflict, and action. And, we will add second person point of view (POV) and branching narrative structures into the mix. Part 1Write down three ideas for a branching narrative. You do not need to write out your stories. This is a chance to explore the genre and think through the different types of stories you can tell with branching (or interactive) narratives. Have fun with it! Include some of the choices you would give your readers (two to three choices per story idea). Here are two examples of story ideas that include narrative choices for the reader. These are included as a model to follow, but you should definitely come up with your own story ideas! Nonfiction Story Idea: An interactive story about the history of chicken domestication. Choices could include: 1) exploring what wild chickens looked like, 2) where in the world people started taming wild chickens and 3) how and where we raise chickens today. Fiction Story Idea: An alien invasion story where the main character (You) has to decide between A) investigating the aliens or B) running away from them. If You decide to investigate the aliens (choice A) , You then have to decide whether to C) get on their spaceship or D) stay here on earth.**This assignment is due in parts, for now you only have to do part 1**
