The Discussion 
Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor was a neuro-anatomist or brain scientist at Harvard when she experienced a stroke. In the TED Talk below, she describes what it was like to experience this condition. After a long recovery, she wrote a book titled “A Stroke of Insight”. At the back of her book she included a list of important things to remember when caring for patients.
