.Explain your answer to any five of your
responses. Give an example of how you have used or intend to use the five you chose. Be specific. Cite at least one scientifice source for this question. THIS IS A STUDENT SAMPLE.When I am being detected deception I usually show smiling, moreÂ
nervous and tension overall, shrugs, more reference to events that areÂ
off topic, and eye shifts. Even though I am always smiling, smiling is a
way to detect if I am lying, it is something I cannot control but byÂ
the way I’ll smile you will be able to see if I am lying or not. When IÂ
am lying I will always be nervous, I will be afraid of the personÂ
discovering that I’m lying and the possible consequences that I mightÂ
have with the lie I’m telling. When I’m tense, I automatically shrug, so
that’s a really accurate way to detect deception, another one thatÂ
isn’t listed here that happens when I’m tense is that my hands willÂ
start to sweat, meaning if I am not lying none of that would happen toÂ
me. I will often refer to events that are off topic to try to make theÂ
person not focus on the subject of the lie, since I can’t stand a lieÂ
for very long, I’m going to start getting tangled up in my own lie. soÂ
follow my eye movements and you will be able to tell if I am lying orÂ
not. Eye shifts will always be present when I am lying, I usually lookÂ
away to try to recall and concentrate on the actual events, memories,Â
sounds, and feelings of the situation. If I am looking in the person’sÂ
eyes I start to get nervous and I will usually admit that I am lying. As
we can all see, I am not a good liar (which I consider a good thing). source: https://www.learning-mind.com/eye-movements-when-lying/#:~:text=They%20say%20that%20if%20you%20ask%20someone%20a,will%20look%20to%20the%20right%2C%20the%20creative%20side.Â
