written in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, double spaced, and submitted together in a single .doc or .pdf
file. For each essay, you must reference at least two works of art in support of your discussion.
Footnotes are not needed. However, if you use a direct quote taken from an assigned reading to support
your argument, please cite that source using a parenthetical: (Graham, 216). A strong essay is about 2.5–3 pages of focused analysis in support of a clear thesis that responds directly
to the prompt.
General Guidelines:
