I’m working on a english writing question and need support to help me understand better.

JOURNAL ENTRY:
Susan Glaspell wrote this play as a critique to the prevailing notion of the role of women.  Conduct some research on “The Cult of True Womanhood” or “Cult of Domesticity” and provide a response to how this play speaks against this ideology.  As part of the journal entry, provide some examples of the symbols that Glaspell uses as part of the criticism.  Keep in mind that with a play, we have character actions and movement that help in conveying the message. Make sure to explain why (and how) these symbols (motifs) are woven into her work.
