I need an explanation for this English question to help me study.

As we start to head into Module 3, I want you to think about how you communicate with people.

Have you ever been so mad at what someone else said that you responded in writing?
Or, have you ever like something someone else said so much you wrote them to tell them about it?

You might have written your response on a social media platform, or you could have written a strongly worded text, or it could have been an email or a letter. 
I’d like you to tell us about that piece of writing. You don’t have to tell us about the content, but you can tell us about the method.

What was the tone you used? 
Were you agreeing/disagreeing (or both) with the other person (or group, or company, or govt. official, or etc.)?
Did you type it up in a fit and send it right away, or did you think on it for a while?
Did you refer to what the other person said as you crafted your response?

Have you seen anyone else do it? how did they respond?
