Some examples may include; the elderly, children, pregnant or lactating women, incarcerated individuals, individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, elderly individuals with dementia.Identify 5 key factors in treating the population you selected with psychotropic medications (could be an antidepressant, antipsychotic, anxiolytic, ADHD med, etc…). Provide a case example from your practice or from your readings to describe the factors you have identified. For instance, in treating individuals with autism spectrum disorders-one factor may be inability to use verbal language. What special considerations would you need to consider to treat this individual with a psychotropic medication?
