These articles will allow you to analyze and evaluate texts related to your writing topic and later be able to use these texts as support for your own argument on the subject.  You will examine the opposing side of the argument that you saw last week.

For each article, summarize the author’s argument in 2-3 sentences.
For each article, select one quote you think was particularly important/representative of the author’s argument? Explain why you think this quote is significant. 
For each article, in a short paragraph (5 or so sentences), tell me what you thought about the article. Did you agree or disagree with the author? Did you think he was convincing? Did anything surprise you or make you feel some sort of way?
