A functional organizational structure is on the business being split up into less big groups with specific jobs. An advantage of this structure is employees are grouped by skillset and function, allowing them to focus their collective energies on executing their roles as a department (Point Park University, 2018). One of the disadvantages this structure goes through is a scarcity of inter-departmental transmission, with most problems and controversies taking the position at the administrative degree among personal bureaus. Vaster companies that work across numerous horizontal goals utilize a larger divisional organizational structure. One of their most significant pros is how they offer greater flexibility to a large company with lots of divisions, enabling them each one to work as its business entity. A downside to this type of organizational structure is that by focusing on divisions, employees working in the same function in different divisions may be unable to communicate well between divisions (Point Park University, 2018). The matrix structure is a hybrid of the usual organizational structure. The matrix structure gives work to individuals who would report up to two bosses depending on the situation or project. The Matrix structure is complicated because it can be problematic to report several bosses and converse with them. This structure’s advantages arethat employees can share their knowledge across the different functional divisions, allowing for better communication and understanding of each function’s role (Point Park University, 2018). Flatarchy organizational structure is the best for startup and smaller companies. In a Flatarchy, its most significant benefit is it allows for more innovation worldwide and eliminates red tape that could halt innovation. A con of plutarchy is its employees at ay level are made to suggest ideas and run with them, creating new flat teams and cause situations. B) There are numerous valuable benefits of working to achieve organizational alignment. The increased speed in decision-making is for one. Indecision can ruin productivity, spur lost deadlines, and commence surge effects on a business. There will be improved employee engagement because most workers want to love their job and feel as of their work has great value and witness for themselves that they are making a respected contributor to the business. An aligned institution connects and communicates an employee’s work to the institution’s method (Deshler, 2020). Lastly, there be fewer wasted resources. An organization that is put together connects and communicates a worker’s work to the business strategy. C) Transactional leadership is mainly configured around a process, control and needs a firm management hierarchy behind it. While as Transformational Leadership concentrates on motivating others to pursue with incredible drive and expects a high grade of coordination, communication, and partnership (Florida Tech Online, n.d.) A well-known leadership strategy is an autocratic style. This method usually goes by the leader saying in a simple sense, “Do as I say because I know everything. The leader in this style believes they are always the smartest person in the room no matter what, and they know much more than other workers. They formulate all the judgments with a small intake from committee partners (Martinuzzi, 2019).D) The leadership strategy that best my style is strategic leadership. Strategic leaders master their skills from extreme practice; I feel as if I relate to this style because empowering people and applying empathy is the best way to motivate people and get the best results. I also believe it to be essential, to be honest and open to information because the more general information in your workforce results in more power. Strategic leadership allows the organization to create multiple paths for raising and testing new ideas that are the best fitting. Finally, as always, making it safe to fail as long if you’re trying because the most prominent form of learning is from past failures, which is preached in strategic leadership.E) I would apply for change inside an organization utilizing strategic leadership to, as I said before, embrace failures to my employees. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the U.K. established innovation charity “Nesta” hosted “failure fests,” at which workers communicate determinations that went bad and derive valued learnings from them (Leitch, 2016). Also, to create change, enabling managers to oversee smaller parts of the organization can be prosperous and innovative to help build their skills and make more valuable employees.
