Students will be required to use the library’s Sociology database to locate a journal article that reflects
a chronic disease or health condition mentioned in the chapter. A list of suitable
topics will be provided. Assignments must reflect one of these topics to receive credit. Students must
a). identify the sociological question (s) the author(s) sought to answer/explore with the research b). identify a key finding/statistic/result from the research (such can be found in the article’s abstract, results, or discussion section) and c). summarize the results/findings in 2-3 sentences.
