1. Project Background and Description
Ciomar Construction has an opportunity to build a pier for Impressive Resorts and Spas. The purpose of this project is to mitigate the beach erosion problem and provide additional amenities for the resort. The beach erosion problem has made it difficult to attract clients to the resort.
2. Determine Budget
An Activity Cost Estimates Worksheet and a Bottom-up Estimating Worksheet have been created in Assignment #2, so you are ready to Determine Budget and develop a Cost Baseline. 
Using the Estimating Worksheets, determine a sequence of the spending required and summarize the anticipated costs in a table, by week #. By using Excel or other tool, create a line graph to trend the total costs for the project. Refer to page 93 and 94 of the book of forms to create this graph. 
Using the spending projections created above, determine the funding requirements for the project. Summarize the funding requirements in a table and add these funding requirements to the cost baseline graph created above. Funding can be summarized by logical phases in the project or by month. See PMBOK page 255 for examples of the charts. For top marks, include a summary of the project budget components as shown in Figure 7-8 on page 255 of the PMBOK.
