Instructions
Part One – Survey
For this assignment, you will create a 10-question survey with the following requirements:
Your survey needs to answer (but is not limited to):
How many pets are in the area?

The tolerance of animals,
The reputation of the humane shelter,
If they are willing to donate to the humane shelter,
And how the humane shelter can serve the community.
At least 4 questions need to be quantitative.
At least 4 questions need to be categorical.
At least 1 discrete question.
At least 1 continuous question.
At least 1 question of each type of level of measurement: nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio.
Part Two – Questions and Labels
After you have created the survey, address the following:

What is the population that you are surveying?
What type of sample will you choose to use for your survey?
How will you execute surveying this sample?

Will the sample be representative of your local county? Explain why or why not.
Creating and distributing the survey would be part of which step in the statistical process?
In your survey, would the calculations of your responses represent a parameter or a statistic? Explain.
For each question in your survey, label the question as quantitative or categorical.
