Social media and Violence
In the contemporary world majority of people are exposed to the internet and particularly on social media. However, social media has bought many benefits, notwithstanding its negative impact. Some of the benefits include improving communication, interaction and increasing the ease of access to information, especially on education materials; it has also negatively impacted society. Social media increases the community’s rate of Violence, primarily through imitation of what is observed among the youths and increased physiological arousal. It has led to poor time management as the majority spend their time online. An intermediate intervention is thus necessary to combat this problem.
