Background information on the particular literacy strategy selected is also required. At least TWO journal articles in literacy and education that supports your idea behind the strategy must be included.Needs Indicators: Consider the following questions: What area of literacy are you hoping to address with this strategy? What purpose will this strategy serve? For what grade level is the strategy designed? What is the anticipated outcome if support strategies are successful? What are the anticipated challenges with students’ reading of the text?Strategy practice: Describe the steps for strategy implementation that can be used supported by your theory with struggling readers. This section should be detailed as it will provide the basis for your simulation exercise to the actual use of the strategy for part 2 of this assignment. Be sure to link your activity to the ELA Common Core Standards for the grade level you are targeting.Resources: List at least two references/sources from professional texts and web-based resources that will support this strategy in either providing additional information or making connections to others’ work with the strategy.

Myths and stereotypes abound for many reasons. In chapter 1 of your text, you read a bit about some of the characteristics of our societies’ view of aging. You also explored a bit about some of the deeper characteristics linked to race, culture, socioeconomic status and gender. In this activity you will be applying some of what you have learned by what you have observed the world around you and reporting back what you have seen, and then discussion and comparing observations with your classmates. This discussion board has two parts. This discussion board has a due date that includes time your initial “reply”, and your responses to two classmates.
Part 1 – Instructions:
In your community or from a recent remembrance/observation for your initial “reply” describe your observations of older adults and report back on what you saw, heard, and experienced or remember. Include all of the following:

What are some of the challenges you notice older adults experiencing while they go about daily life?
How were elderly people treated by other shoppers and the store personnel or in a doctor’s office or other business?
Did you notice any occasions were you saw one of the myths or stereotypes related to aging were present in reality (elders actions, treatment of older adults, portrayal in ads or media)?
How accessible was the store, doctor’s office, or other business for an older adult? For example, was it wheel chair or walker accessible? Was there adequate and readable signage, lighting? Were there places to sit if needed?
Finally, describe one personally significant experience from this exercise and relate it directly back to something you read in chapter 1-2

I’m working on a writing project and need support to help me learn.

ENGL 1010: Literacy for LifeSmall Writing 2: Genre MapPROJECT PURPOSESmall Writing 2: Genre Map serves as a prewriting and/or invention strategy for Writing Project 2: Genre Analysis. A genre is a type of media (text image, sound, video game, software) that is characterized by a particular purpose, style, form, audience and context that respond to particular rhetorical situations. We talked about the relationship between literacy, genre, and the rhetorical situation during our class lecture notes from Week 2. This small writing project will help you develop your understanding of genre and begin to consider how you’ll approach a formal genre analysis.PROJECT DESCRIPTIONLocate a GENRE that is specific to your academic discipline or career choice. For example, if you’re majoring in business, you might choose an executive report. If you’re a scientist, you might choose a lab report. If you’re planning to be a teacher, you might select a lesson plan. Your Genre Map should be 250-500 words long and contain a description of all 5 aspects of a genre: 1) Purpose, 2) Style, 3) Form, 4) Audience, and 5) Context. Your final product should look similar to the examples we’ve done together in the ENGL1010: Genre Glossary.WRITING PROCESSThe writing process for our major writing projects occurs in 5 phases: Invention, Drafting, Revision, Editing, and Publication. We talked about these phases during the Week 3 Tuesday Talk. Our small writings serve as invention and/or drafting strategies for the major writing projects. So, your writing process for the genre map will be shorter and more focused.

AREA/FIELD is DENTAL/DENTAL HYGIENE
The areas of provision and reimbursement of health care services have each undergone considerable changes in the past several years, with the following current trends identified as being the most significant contributors to change:

Healthy People 2020 and Healthy People 2030 Initiatives
Bundled payment structure versus fee-for-service payment structure
Accountable care organizations (ACOs)
Technology and telemedicine
Medicare Advantage Plans
Population health management strategies

Using your employer/organization’s resources, appropriate websites, and the GCU Library as your informational foundation, research these trends and others you may find relevant, and write a 1,250- to 1,500-word essay in which you examine the following:

Which of the currently identified health care trends are already affecting your employer/organization, or an organization in your city/region in your health care field?
Which of the currently identified health care trends are specifically affecting your sector of allied health, and why?
What emerging health care trends on the horizon may affect your employer/organization and/or your specific allied health sector?
Which of the current or emerging trends do you see as most likely to positively influence your specific role and sector in allied health? Which trends are most likely to have a negative affect? (Examples: wages, job security, educational requirements, technology, etc.)
How will one of the reimbursement trends you identify affect safety, risk management, and/or quality improvement policies in your organization/and or an organization in your city/region in your health care field?

In this first section, we note that psychology as an emergent field exists on at least a couple of different levels.  First is big “P” psychology, which involves the official discourses, practices, etc. that make up psychology as an academic and professional discipline.  If you go to to a therapist, for instance, who uses cognitive-behavioral treatments, these arise from the academic/professional side of psychology.  Second is little “p” psychology, which includes more informal forms of psychological thinking.  For instance, pop psychology in the form of self-help books/ideas often become quite influential to people in everyday life.  As you know from the course materials, this has a long history (there were conduct books and devotional manuals in the 17th and 18th centuries).  Now, there is a wide-range of informal, “everyday” psychological forms of thinking.  Self-help gurus like Tony Robbins, motivational speakers/writers in business,  sports, and religion, and books like The Five Love Languages inform the way we understand ourselves, even if academic psychology often takes them less seriously.  Still, especially over the last hundred years, many of these “everyday” psychological ideas do borrow from psychology as a discipline to some extent.
So, what I’m interested in hearing about is pretty fundamental to your interest in the field and how you got here:  What role do psychological ideas play in your everyday life?  This could involve big “P” psychology or little “p” psychology — i.e., what you have taken from the official field of psychology, or what you have taken up more informally (i.e., self-help books/ideas, etc.), or some of both!

solved Assessing student learning is a vital part of the instructional

Assessing student learning is a vital part of the instructional process. The learning from each lesson must be assessed and the data used to inform future instruction.
Based on the lesson plan you developed in Topic 4, create a Comprehensive Assessment Plan using the “Humanities Comprehensive Assessment Plan Template.” The plan must include a formative assessment and a summative assessment, as well as remediation and reassessment procedures.
Formative Assessments
Create a formative assessment of 3-5 questions that could appear in this lesson. The formative assessments must:

Provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning in different ways
Align with the selected content standard and the learning objective
Describe potential bias, and how you could minimize it
Describe how feedback will be provided to students

Summative Assessment
Create an 8-12 item summative assessment that could follow the lesson. Assessment must:

Provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning in different ways
Align with the selected content standard and the learning objective
Describe a potential bias, and how you could minimize it
Describe how feedback will be provided to students

Remediation and Reassessment
For students who do not meet the minimum standards, remediation and reassessment is necessary. While this may not have any effect on the student’s grade, it is best practice for teachers to provide intervention and reassessment for students to have the opportunity to meet the standards.
Describe a remediation activity that would assist a student in meeting the standards. Explain how you would reassess to check for mastery of content.
