a detailed memo, roughly 1-1.5 pages (maybe longer or maybe shorter depending on the amount of revisions needed) outlining your process of revision: be specific!  Remember that you’re inherently making an argument about how you’ve become a better writer throughout the course, and how well you prove that point by using specific examples will be a major factor in determining your portfolio grade.  Outline your process for each paper in different headers in exhausting detail here.  Conclude the piece by discussing your writing abilities now versus when you first entered the class.
Film Sequel/Prequel/Remake Evaluation: you may still revise this piece based on my comments from midterm if you didn’t have an A then.  If you choose not to revise this one and were happy with your midterm grade, even if it wasn’t an A, you may state that you chose not to revise further after midterm in the memo but should still include the piece here. (3-5 pages roughly)
Annotated Bibliography: the revised bibliography should include your best eight sources.  Remove any sources that weren’t that helpful: include new ones that areSu.  mmarize and evaluate how useful the source was in your process.  Remember that a good bibliography will include a healthy garden variety of sources from across the board that helps in teasing out bothsides of the argument (books, journal articles from multiple databases, Googled information, etc).
Exploratory Essay:  revise according to my comments.  Remember this paper is all about the dialectic: thesis, antithesis, and synthesis.  Are all represented here and treated fairly? (6-7 pages roughly)
Classical Argument. Again, revise according to my comments. Issues with the classical argument tend to involve problems with thesis statements, organization, lack of evidence,, or missing components to the formula (such as a neutral summary paragraph or a counter-argument section.)
