https://www.apa.org/apf/funding/weiss?tab=1BudgetTOTAL: $1000The budget for your proposal should be specific and accurate. Find the exact cost of items, services and other resources you may wish to purchase. Please create an Excel spreadsheet, listing the following items: The item name How much of it you wish to purchase The cost per unit, the number of units and the total cost The cost of your time (per hour) and the time of other staff who may need to be hired for the project The total cost of the budgetThe budget should include things such as materials, equipment, mileage and travel costs, staff and consultant fees, gift cards, and food.Evaluation PlanThis part of the proposal should be tied closely to your specific objectives and program plan. It is your plan on how you will actually measure your objectives, with the intent of answering, ‘Did we actually do what we set out to do’ and/or ‘Did our program work’? Your evaluation plan should be able to provide evidence of whether or not you met your goal and objectives. Keep it simple and straightforward.Questions that you will want to address as you write this section include: What data will I need to collect? What kind of information will I need to determine if the goals and objectives were met? How will I collect the data? You might use surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, registration/attendance numbers at events and meetings, or other measurements. Many smaller funders are less interested in conducting a formal research study and are mostly interested in serving their population through your intervention. If it’s possible to collect pre- and post-intervention data and/or have a control group, that’s great. It may not be likely, though. You should conduct evaluation at the two levels we discussed: process and outcome evaluation. Please include at least two evaluation tools and identify which level they are addressing.
