I’m working on a political science question and need a sample draft to help me learn.

You must find one article about racism and discuss the difference between approaching racism as a systemic/structural issue or an issue of individual opinions and feelings. The article can be from any news source–I do not care where on the internet you find it. But it must contain some suggestion that something racist is happening. This assignment is pretty specific. You *MUST* show me you understand the difference between systemic (structural) and individual racism. In systemic racism, racism is a property of societies and the way they are structured. In individual racism, racism is a property of individual attitudes and opinions. *YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO AGREE WITH EITHER POSITION.* This is not about that. This is about demonstrating that you understand the difference. I honestly don’t care all that much which side you come down on. As the Dude would say “That’s like, just your opinion, man.” (Sorry, you are probably not old enough for Big Lebowski references.)In paragraph #1, describe the issue in question in the article. Why is there conflict? What resolution is suggested? In paragraph #2, describe how this event can be interpreted using the lens of individual racism. That is, what are the attitudes and opinions of individuals that play into the issue at hand. How does it show that certain individuals do or do not have racist attitudes. In paragraph #3, describe how this event can be interpreted using the lens of structural/systemic racism. That is, what are ways in which racial inequality is perpetuated by daily actions in organizations such as government, business, or education.Paragraph #4 is your conclusion about the *best* way to understand the issue and how it can be fixed. You can take any side you want on this once you have shown me you understand the matter from both sides. As I say, I don’t care which side you are on, I want to see that you understand the difference and made your decision based on that.
