One of topics we discussed is Social Psychology was how we form and maintain meaningful and healthy relationships with others. Gottman is one of the leading researchers in this area and he has defined four characteristics (“horsemen”) that predict the demise of relationships in the long-run. The purpose of this discussion post is to reflect on your own and others’ relationships with others and to help us identify patterns that are more health-promoting in our life course. Â A variety of research suggests that social support is a key factor in life satisfaction and longevity. Â How do we know what is “good” social support? Let’s talk about it!
NOTE: Social support can refer to platonic (e.g., friendships) or romantic relationships.

Please answer both of the following for this discussion post:Â
1. Â Please watch this video by Gottman, which explains his four horsemen:
Gottman’s Four Horsemen  (Links to an external site.)
Reflect on the video and answer one or both of the following questions:
Is there one or more particular characteristic that you feel is more personally damaging?Â
What are some of the things in a relationship (either friendship or romantic) that you feel can be destructive that future research may or may not be picking up on?
2. What do you personally most value in relationships with others (e.g., trust, active listening, loyalty, friendship, equity, etc.)? For example, what positive characteristics would/do you seek out in others or that you find personally appealing and enriching?
**We focused on the Big Five personality traits in the previous chapter. Thus, for this complimentary discussion post, I’d like you to focus on the social aspects of relationships.**

solved Using the ethical dilemma in discussion question one, discuss a
/in /by adminUsing the ethical dilemma in discussion question one, discuss a role nurses could play in creating an ethical practice environment. How can you promote a quality ethical practice that supports the wellbeing of all humans?
Discussion Question 1Â
One of the significant historical dilemmas in public healthcare services was an ethical dilemma in advanced directive implementation in multidisciplinary patient care. The advanced directives required that the patient’s concern be adhered to by the medics of the public health. The dilemma occurred when patients who underwent surgery refused to be subjected to aggressive treatments in cardiac arrest. The internal medical staff who had just been given the mandate to take care of the patient had to decide between withholding the treatment and attempting any possible life-saving method that would not go against the ethics (Tompkins et al., 2017). The situation was faced with an ethical dilemma. Physicians who had no more profound understanding of the patients’ underlying conditions had to find a balance in upholding patients’ concerns and reacting to strange clinical events that needed to be taken. The situation presented a dilemma to the physiologist. It was hard to decide whether to withhold any aggressive resuscitation effort as demanded by the patient, make a call to the primary emergency surgery consultant, or make an effort to get in touch with the patient’s family member to complete a surrogate decision.
The dilemma may relate to current ethical dilemmasbecause the current nurses must ensure that patients’ refusal tospecific treatment due to their cultural and societal beliefs is considered and protected. The lesson learned from this dilemma is that healthcare institutions should create an ethical committee that will facilitate good decision-making, which will not alter the concerns of patients, families, and those nurses involved (Lasota et al., 2020). Secondly, the medics that have been assigned to a particular patient should not abandon the patient to new nurses or healthcare workers who lack the necessary knowledge of the underlying patient condition.Â

/in /by adminChange and Innovation in NursingInitial Post: 1. Obtain a scholarly nursing journal on Innovation and Change in Clinical Nursing Practice or Nursing Education. Download the article (you will post it for your peers to review). There are several articles in the resources for the class. 2. Write your Literature Review (almost like an abstract), summarizing the key concepts presented in the article (you do not need to report statistical findings or elaborate on the type of research conducted). Identify the change process model used. – do not describe the model. (Example: The change process used was Lewin’s Model of Change.)Make sure to identify the (1) problem/need for change/rationale for change, (2) the setting (practice or education) identified, and (3) how the results/findings could be implemented in the identified setting. Limit to 1-3 paragraphs- quality over quantity!3. Attach the article to your discussion postRespond to at least ONE peer that does not already have a response, and include the following:1. After reviewing the article, identify 3 salient (relevant) points presented in the article in terms of the change proposed and the setting for the change, include a rationale/evidence for each point. For example, if you review an article about the implementation of simulation in nursing education to simulate clinical preparedness, you might conclude that: According to __________ (year), 65% nursing students in the study reported that simulation helped them learn psychomotor tasks better than the classroom environment and they felt more prepared when performing those skills in the clinical setting. When the simulation has been included in the curriculum at Stratford, it helped me feel better prepared and more confident during the clinical for the course….2. then, Identify the change process/model used to implement the change.Identify the steps in the change process. (Example, The change process used was Lewin’s Model of Change. The three steps of the model are one, two, three. Then describe those steps in the change process/model. Include the reference to the original article and any additional articles. Reminder to only utilize reliable and SCHOLARLY nursing references, such as nursing textbooks, ATI textbooks, scholarly peer-reviewed publications, and scholarly websites (ends in .org, .edu or .gov). Do not use .com, .net, wikis, blogs, or non-scholarly sources.In-text citations are a must!

solved In the fifth module of this course, you should read
/in /by adminIn the fifth module of this course, you should read Chapters 8 and 9. Chapter 8 explains the concept of the communication climate, a tone in the communication that sets an environment that either encourages or discourages further healthy interactions. The chapter then highlights our power over these climates and helps us to establish communication behaviors to encourage healthy and confirming environments. In acknowledgment of the fact that no communication climate is perfect, Chapter 9 discusses the unavoidable tensions and conflicts known to arise in interpersonal relationships of all kinds. The chapter defines interpersonal conflict, uncovers how perceptions of conflict can influence actions within them, and then discusses best practices for conflict management and resolution.
You are expected to review all of the material listed below:
Wood, J.T. (2020). Interpersonal communciation: Everyday encounters (9th Ed.). Cengage International. Chapters 8 and 9

solved Topic – Coexistence of federal law and state law. research
/in /by adminTopic – Coexistence of federal law and state law.
research and write papers summarizing in own words what you have found on current topics from the weekly readings. Research is a theoretical review of relevant literature and application of findings in the literature to a topic related to a specific industry, field, or business problem.
The research must be conducted using peer-reviewed trade or academic journals. While Blogs, Wikipedia, encyclopedias, course textbooks, popular magazines, newspaper articles, online websites, etc. are helpful for providing background information, these resources
are NOT suitable resources for this research assignment.
Assignment Requirements:
i. Research/find a minimum at least four (4), preferably five (5) or more, different peer- reviewed articles on your topic from the University of the Cumberlands Library online business database. The article(s) must be relevant and from a peer-reviewed source. While you may use relevant articles from any time frame, current/published within the last five (5) years are preferred. Using literature that is irrelevant or unrelated to the chosen topic will result in a point reduction.
ii. Write a four (4) to five (5) page double spaced paper in APA format discussing the findings on your specific topic in your own words. Note – paper length does not include cover page, abstract, or references page(s).
iii. Structure your paper as follows:
a. Cover page
b. Overview describing the importance of the research topic to current business and professional practice in your own words.
c. Purpose of Research should reflect the potential benefit of the topic to the current business and professional practice and the larger body of research.
d. Review of the Literature summarized in your own words. Note that this should not be a “copy and paste†of literature content, nor should this section be substantially filled with direct quotes from the article. A literature review is a summary of the major points and findings of each of the selected articles (with appropriate citations). Direct quotations should be used sparingly. Normally, this will be the largest section of your paper (this is not a requirement; just a general observation).
e. Practical Application of the literature. Describe how your findings from the relevant research literature can shape, inform, and improve current business and professional practice related to your chosen topic.
