Based off of previous weeks on Gene Editing A code of ethics may be defined as a written document providing a practical moral framework for moral decision making. Successful organizations have strong codes of ethics. For this week’s assignment, you will create an organizational code of ethics appropriate to your Course Project topic. For example, if your Course Project is focused on cryptocurrency, you might create a code of ethics appropriate to a cryptocurrency mining company. If your topic is electronic stock trading, you might create a code of ethics for an electronic trading platform.
To help you to write an effective code of ethics, please review Chapter 9 Professional Ethics and carefully read pages 444–455, which provides the full text of the Software Engineering Code of Ethics as well an in-depth analysis. Your code of ethics will be shorter than the Software Engineering Code of Ethics, but it will follow the same structure.
Preamble: This is a one-paragraph explanation of the purpose of the code. Make it clear to the reader what type of organization you are.
Guiding Principles: At least six, and no more than eight, fundamental precepts that your organization will follow should be included.
Applications: For each guiding principle, provide at least three examples of what a member of your organization should do or should not do to abide by those guiding principles.
Elements of a Desired Response
Length: Approximately two pages (600 words)
Structure: Includes preamble, guiding principles, and applications for each principle
Content: Shows knowledge of workable ethical theories, such as Kantianism; utilitarianism; social contract theory; justice theory; and virtue ethics; and shows appreciation for the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Please note that I oppose one-word answers and encourage substantial responses. Grammar and punctuation matter.Choose an item to “interrogate†and write an essay answering the following questions. What is it? So you know? Were you born with it? What would you do with an item that just dropped from the sky one day, having no prior experience or understanding of it? What do you do with it? Is it just used for one purpose or is it multipurpose? This item’s cultural significance Is it a sign of social status? What does it imply in another culture? Consider how the object’s significance may alter in the future, both in your culture and in others. How is it made? Can most people create one on their own? So, why? What does it tell about the item’s complexity? Is it high-tech or low-tech? How long has technology allowed humanity to create such items?Consider the object’s material(s). Who are they? Did they all come from the same place or were they collected from all over? Was this feasible 2000 years ago? Where was the item manufactured (country, region)? Was it manufactured or handcrafted? Consider the life of those who presumably produced the item. How are they? Do they drive? Do they like it? Is their workplace clean, well-lit, and equipped with air conditioning/heating? Is their job making their lives better or worse? Can they afford the product they help make? Are they rural or urban? Is it a nuclear or extended family? Will their involvement in the product’s creation help them advance socially? How much do you estimate it costs to manufacture and deliver the item to the store? How much is it? Is there a big difference between production costs and consumer prices? Why?Do you believe it’s improved since its debut? Isn’t the “old version” just as good? Will you just buy the “new version†after your old one breaks or stops working? Why buy a new one if the old one works?Comment a-t-on survécu How did its arrival affect people’s lives? Is life worth living without it? Grammar and punctuation matter! Proofread your work before submitting it. Please send just words; no documents.

solved The interview has been conducted and I posted the answers
/in /by adminThe interview has been conducted and I posted the answers along with the questions. You have been asked to serve as an HR Consultant and conduct an analysis of the workplace culture in an organization of your choice. Prepare a list of 10-15 questions for the interview that are related to the areas of employee/labor relations, employee engagement, high performance work organizations, and building trust. As part of your preparations for the interview, research best practices in each of those areas and how they align with organizational strategy and success.Be prepared to ask follow-up questions based on the answers provided by your interviewee. If you are conducting your interview via email, you should ask at least 5 to 7 follow-up questions in order to engage more fully in a dialogue with your interviewee. Carefully consider how your initial list of questions might create these opportunities for further discussion. Upon the completion of your interview, create a slide presentation for the board of directors that compares the existing state of the organization to best practices that develop and sustain a healthy workplace culture. Include your interview questions in your presentation. As part of your slide presentation to the board of directors, develop and present recommendations and action plans that have the potential to improve the workplace culture of the organization.Requirements:Conduct a 30-minute interview with a Human Resources Manager, Director, or VP at an organization of your choice.Develop a 12-15 slide presentation, not including the title and reference pages, or the interview questions/responses, which are required.Include your interview and follow-up questions in your presentation. Each PP slide must contain note slides explaining the slide’s content and conform to the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.).Include a formal reference page. solved I’m working on a nursing case study and need guidance
/in /by adminI’m working on a nursing case study and need guidance to help me understand better.
The nurse practitioner (NP) is working at a health clinic in a  homeless shelter during the early evening. A 48-year-old African  American man approaches the practitioner and asks to have his blood  pressure taken, saying that he has not had it checked “in a whileâ€.
The man appears to be in some type of distress and experiencing pain.  The man walks slowly, using a guarded manner, and he appears  diaphoretic. His mucous membranes also appear pale. The patient’s blood  pressure is 210/98. The patient reports that he has not been diagnosed  with hypertension previously. The patient reveals that he has severe  abdominal pain that is radiating to his back. The nurse finds a heart  rate of 110, respirations 30 with shallow inspirations, and temperature  102.2°F. The patient’s skin is cool and clammy.
The patient reports a history of alcoholism, homelessness, and lack  of access to health care. He says that the symptoms have been present  and worsening over 3 days. The man says he thinks he might have  pancreatitis again, which he had “a couple of years agoâ€. The NP  recommends that the man should be seen at a hospital for his condition,  but the patient says he does not have health insurance, so he does not  want to go.
The NP proceeds with a physical examination, finding severe abdominal  pain in the epigastric area, yellowed sclera, no abdominal distention,  and hypoactive bowel sounds. The clinic is equipped with basic materials  but no means to conduct lab or radiologic testing. Discuss the  following:
Considering the patient’s homelessness and lack of insurance, what action should the practitioner take?
When the patient asks why his condition cannot be managed outside of the hospital, how should the practitioner respond?
When the patient arrives at the hospital for further diagnostic  work-up, what tests will likely be performed to evaluate the patient’s  condition?
How will the severity of the pancreatitis be assessed when the patient is hospitalized?
How should the patient’s condition be managed when hospitalized?
What patient education should be included after the pancreatitis is resolved?

/in /by admin1. Improving your handwashing.Step 4: Use Reinforcements & Punishment to Gain Leverage: Give yourself a reward (+ reinforcement) for small successes to strengthen your new habit. Examples: Treat yourself or set aside some $ to use later when you do your goal. Then try negative reinforcement (holding back on letting yourself get relief until you do your habit). Examples: You can’t sleep until you floss your teeth, gaining relief from being tired/sleepy. Or you can’t eat until you wash your hands properly, gaining relief from being hungry. Finally, if you want to, try punishment or adding something aversive – like if you don’t meet your goal you must do pushups you hate or wash your roommate’s dishes or pay your friend $5 or donate to a cause you detest. Often this just needs to happen one time and after that you will be very motivated. Take 4-5 days. This step will be given a bit more time so you can try all of the strategies. Keep the ones that work for you – keep trying different rewards or consequences until you hit the ones which motivate you. Everyone is different.Answer the following questions about step 4 for hand washing:1. What rewards did you allow yourself for doing your goal behavior ? What type of reward was it (direct, generic, token) ? 2. Are you giving little rewards day to day and then saving up for a big reward later ? 3. How did the rewards work ? Were they as “rewarding” as you thought ? Or did you have to add more rewards or switch out your rewards ?4. What about negative reinforcement (this is NOT punishment) ? Did you use “relief” from something uncomfortable (allowing action to remove hunger, sleepiness, annoying noise once you did your habit) as a reward ? 5. Did you use any punishment ? That would be taking away something you like (like your phone or your money) or adding something you do not like (like chores, annoying exercises, music you hate). How did that work ? 6. Did your critical mind start telling you that you did not need rewards ? That you “should” just do the new habit ? (the human brain is not wired up that way – we need consequences to help us form new brain circuits)7. Keep up your rewards, negative reinforcements and punishments – it takes a bit of time to form the new habit.

It has been very busy; it is cold and flu season. There have been so many kids in with respiratory illnesses that there is a designated LPN in charge of getting them all checked in. That is your role today: you will be taking vital signs, obtaining weights, and alerting the RN to any child with abnormal vital signs.Your call the next child back to the treatment room for vital signs and a weight. This little one is three years old. He was brought in by his mom who says he has had a cough and sniffles for two days. Mom is also carrying a baby who she says is four-months-old. Mom says the baby has sniffles too, but she does not think the doctor needs to see the baby. There are four measurements above that are abnormal and will be reported to the RN. Which measurement has the highest priority and should be reported immediately? Explain your response. What additional information will be helpful to report to the RN regarding this priority concern? Explain your response and include what your findings might be.There are four vital sign readings that are abnormal. What is the normal range for each finding? What treatments would be anticipated for the oxygen saturation and the temperature? Which treatment will be given first?
