Shier and Handy (2015) say that nonprofits can generate social change by using the three levels of built-in advocates already found in their organizations. In a simplified outlook of the hierarchy of a non-profit, there is a board member, a staff member, and a program participant. They all have skill sets and connections that appeal to the intersections of society that they each inhabit and can influence (Sojung & Nam-Hyun. 2016). It is essential in the communication and marketing strategies for advocating to continue programs for homeless individuals. There is the correct social media exposure using appropriate material to move this organization forward. These are how they can use specific social media outlets to progress their partnership:
Facebook page for BAHS (Bay Area Homeless Services) and partners: daily updates of the progress of the organization’s meetings, decisions made about the partnership, pictures, access to more homeless youths by providing all the information pertinent to finding assistance. The blog can also have testimonials from homeless youth who are being helped and moved on and out of the cycle due to the programs.
Instagram/Twitter: This will include connecting with renowned programs with a social media presence and asking questions about any programming issues or obstacles they may have faced or are facing. It will be used as a forum for the BAHS to liaise and reach a wider audience (Sojung & Nam-Hyun. 2016). 
These advocates will connect their social circles via these four social media channels. To use any more outlets would spread the social media volunteer too thin, and there will be a lack of control over information. Using these avenues, allows the community to contribute to assisting BAHS in the continuity of their programs, provide jobs, and even volunteer to teach clients new skill sets.

Today, most of the claims brought against directors and officers in
the United States are those alleged in shareholders’ derivative
lawsuits. Other nations, however, put more restrictions on the use of
such lawsuits. German law, for example, does not provide for derivative
litigation, and a corporation’s duty to its employees is just as
significant as its duty to the shareholder-owners of the company. The
United Kingdom has no statute authorizing derivative actions, which are
permitted only to challenge directors’ actions that the shareholders
could not legally ratify. Japan authorizes derivative actions but also
permits a company to sue the plaintiff-shareholder for damages if the

Founding Father Thomas Jefferson had strong opinions about the importance of public educationin the United States. Behavior Modification Project Part 3  – Weekly Journal
My behavioral challenge is being a poor listener

Four-Week Journal of Behavioral Modification (30 pts):
Start your chosen behavior change and monitor how it goes for a four week period. At the end of each week, write a half-page to one-page (100-250 words) journal entry (include the date for each entry) describing your progress thus far in specific, measurable terms including how frequently you engaged in the problem behavior and how frequently you successfully changed the behavior, as well as any challenges or obstacles that you experienced. Some people prefer to include a behavior tracking/monitoring sheet as well, which you can create on your own or find online. Your journal entry should also include discussion of revisions to your change plan that you made or plan to make for the next week, sources of support for making the change that you found helpful, and benefits of the change that you are noticing.
Example Journal Entry: “Oct 20th, 2017. Week One Journal: I began my plan to cut down and quit smoking this week. I smoked two cigarettes this week, one on Monday morning and one on Thursday night. This first week was harder than I expected when it came to not smoking during the stress of preparing for an exam on Monday and when I was out with friends on Thursday. On the other days, it seemed to help when I remembered to fill up my water bottle and when I could safety reach the gum in my bag while I was driving. I haven’t bought a pack of cigarettes in over two weeks, so that’s nice as well. When I fill up my car with gas, I plan to pay at the pump and not go inside the store to break that old stimulus cue of buying cigarettes when I get gas.”
