Start creating your work of art. 
Take photos or video of various stages of your work at the project in order to submit to me with your statement of progress.  Make sure you are in the photos!
Give a name to your artwork.

Step 5 – Presentation
Your presentation should be 5-10 minutes long. It should be a narrated PowerPoint, a narrated Prezi, or a video that clearly documents your progress and your end result.  The presentation should be fully narrated and on auto play.  The visual representation of your progress should be sufficient enough to thoroughly explain the steps/process involved with your project.  After uploading your presentation, you should submit a peer review as a discussion reply to any other student’s presentation/project ###(replay: I’ll send that later there is time for it 100 words only ) ###. Make sure your presentation has the following elements:

fully narrated
auto play
starts with an overview/introduction of your introduction piece and why you selected it (tell us a story)
show and discuss the collecting of materials and steps in creating your own piece (tell us a story)
indicate if your own piece shares the same social angle with the inspiration piece

The investigation into Darian WELLS revealed that he had not only trafficked Winter Jones, but likely dozens of other young girls. None of them, or their families, wanted to get involved with reporting the crimes for fear of the Eastside Gang. Detective Brown was able to locate several of the girls from the pictures she found during the search warrant of WELLS’ home, but none of them would cooperate. The WELLS case was closed with his sentencing to prison.
Winter’s father was devastated when he learned what WELLS and the Eastside gang put her through. Mr. Jones demanded that WELLS be held accountable for all the charges against him and given the maximum sentence allowed by law. He was extremely angry when he learned of the District Attorney’s Plea Deal. Even after their explanation of trying to spare Winter having to testify in court, and safety concerns for the family, Mr. Jones was not satisfied, but was left with little legal recourse. He felt that justice had failed them.

What you will submit to this Discussion Board is a video presentation of both exercises:  

Step 1: Read and follow the instructions on 4B and 4C activity worksheets.  You also need to read Chapter 4 first to better understand what are some criteria for creating “good, strong, reasonable” headings for news articles. 
Step 2: Fill out 4B and 4C worksheets.  (I’m also providing a 4B template for this text here for your own reference.)
Step 3: Create new headings for the news article and list out the main points for each section using the 4C activity worksheet (also on “Instagram is the Home of Pretty Pictures” and ignore the text assigned on Top Hat). 

You can either download the PDFs from Top Hat or type them out following the same format. 
For 4C, you should REGROUP or BREAK UP some of the headings and paragraphs and come up with your own sections and headings. In the presentation, please focus on the rationale (for your re-organization of the original news article).  For instance, if you were a reporter to write on the same topic, how would you present your finding differently? 

Step 4: Once you complete the 4B and 4C worksheets, record a video presenting these two activities.

For 4B, briefly summarize each section and present your own new summary.
