Two Assignments:3.1 Personality & Leadership DiscussionIn reading for this week, you might have noticed that all three articles are quite dated, ranging from 1978 to 2003. Although human nature does not change its fundamental principles and general rules of development quickly (in Adlerian conversations, we call human nature a climate vs. weather), the social environment and political landscape change rapidly, especially in the 21st century, creating unique challenges and new opportunities. Among changes are the emergence of a new generational classification (gen Z, millennials, etc.), a wave of social revolutions in Europe, increased political tensions, intersectionality, and many other unique social processes. In this discussion, please discuss personality variables (including gender, birth order, the age gap between siblings, blended families, type of parental unit and parental modeling, and any others) as impacting leadership potential and leadership style of a specific public leader, from an Adlerian perspective.Your post will be approximately 350 words. You need to use references. In your peer responses, please find an opportunity to validate (vs. praise) your classmates’ efforts and to take their discussion to a new level by asking questions, building on (vs. replacing) their efforts. You will also have to respond to your professor’s inquiries.3.2 Your Leadership Strengths Reflection AssignmentTo the degree comfortable, please discuss your leadership strengths – based on personality variables, from an Adlerian perspective. What is your next leadership step, based on what you now know about yourself?Compose a brief (200 words) essay response to this prompt. You do not need to use references.
solved For the Researched Argument Essay, you are going to construct
/in /by adminFor the Researched Argument Essay, you are going to construct an audience-based argument that presents a specific claim about your topic and integrates the research you have done this semester to support your claim. Your thesis statement should propose a solution or solutions to a particular problem. as well as tell the reader WHY this is the best/most feasible course of action and/or HOW this course of action could/should be implemented.Â
Think carefully about your readers. Consider these five questions:
What do you want readers to do or think?
Why should they do or think that?
How do they know that what you say is true?
What should readers know about counterarguments?
What larger principles or context grounds your argument?
Also, think about the stakeholders involved in your topic. Who is most impacted? Most invested? Who can be the agents of change? Who is in the most powerful position to effect change? Note: stakeholders and agents of change are not always the same group of people.Â
Writing an audience-based argument means thinking about your goals. What do you want the audience to do, think, or feel? What action do you think they need to take (if applicable)? In some cases, your audience may be large entities, such as corporations or governments, so you should set proportionate goals for your audience.
Whatever your goal for your audience, you must choose and evaluate evidence accordingly. What evidence does the audience need? To what would they respond best? What most aligns with their own goals and agendas? Here, a careful consideration of ethos, pathos, and logos is critical. How are you going to appeal to your reader in a way that persuades them to proceed according to your recommendations?

/in /by adminI’m working on a nursing question and need support to help me learn.
In the Discussion for this module, you considered the interaction of nurse informaticists with other specialists to ensure successful care. How is that success determined?
Patient outcomes and the fulfillment of care goals is one of the major ways that healthcare success is measured. Measuring patient outcomes results in the generation of data that can be used to improve results. Nursing informatics can have a significant part in this process and can help to improve outcomes by improving processes, identifying at-risk patients, and enhancing efficiency.
To Prepare:
Review the concepts of technology application as presented in the Resources.
Reflect on how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence may help fortify nursing informatics as a specialty by leading to increased impact on patient outcomes or patient care efficiencies.
The Assignment: (4-5 pages not including the title and reference page)
In a 4- to 5-page project proposal written to the leadership of your healthcare organization, propose a nursing informatics project for your organization that you advocate to improve patient outcomes or patient-care efficiency. Your project proposal should include the following:
Describe the project you propose.
Identify the stakeholders impacted by this project.
Explain the patient outcome(s) or patient-care efficiencies this project is aimed at improving and explain how this improvement would occur. Be specific and provide examples.
Identify the technologies required to implement this project and explain why.
Identify the project team (by roles) and explain how you would incorporate the nurse informaticist in the project team.
solved The purpose of a thesis-driven essay is to identify an
/in /by adminThe purpose of a thesis-driven essay is to identify an issue, establish what your stand is on a particular aspect of that issue, and present a compelling case or argument for it. The essay will draw on the course material, demonstrating explicitly that it has been mastered (for instance by correctly deploying vocabulary terms and theoretical concepts). You will analyze how those arguments stand up to critical scrutiny. You will then summarize the central issues and arguments, and take a stand on the central debates as you have defined them. This stance will constitute your thesis which you are required to defend.Â
It is generally NOT recommended that students use the Internet to find secondary sources to help them write their essays.
What you need to answer for the essay is below:
What is the Restoration Thesis? What is the core problem here? Clearly and concisely state Elliot’s thesis about the Restoration Thesis. What is his definition of natural in this essay? Describe at least one case Elliot describes. How does he use it to support his thesis? What does he say that is significant about wilderness? Is Elliot correct about the analogy of nature with works of art? Does the fact that a wilderness has been replicated by human contrivance lessen the value of the replicated product? Can you imagine a situation where a natural object is replicated and where its value is greater than the original? What do you think? You must explicitly acknowledge whether you are defending or arguing against Elliot’s position. You must show how his view of the Restoration Thesis is defensible or not. Be sure to consider possible counter-arguments to your position and state why you do not find those arguments compelling.

1- This short story by Lois McMaster Bujold is part of a long series about Miles Vorkosigan, his family, and interstellar politics. To give you the context for this story, Miles was born with two conditions (dwarfism and weak bones) on a planet (Barrayar) that abhors any kind of physical abnormality as a sign of radiation-caused mutation (the whole planet had been nuclear bombed by the Cetagandan Empire about a century earlier). Nevertheless, Miles’s parents encourage him to follow his dreams, which for him means joining the military space force. At the time of the story, Miles sometimes serves as a regular officer and sometimes goes undercover as the leader of a mercenary space fleet that is sometimes “hired” by the Barrayaran secret service to carry out missions that the planet can’t be seen to meddle in. In this case, Miles and the mercenaries have been hired by the Marilacan resistance (whose planet has been invaded by Cetaganda) to rescue a leader from a prison camp. Things get complicated, as they always do in a story about Miles. (And there’s a final point that comes up in a later book, that I’ll tell you about in the discussion after everyone’s read the story.)
For this discussion, think about the ethical issues that Miles faces in the story. Choose one, and write about what the issue is, why it’s not a simple yes/no decision, and whether you think Miles made the right decision, and why. If it’s relevant, you can also talk about how Miles makes the decision – what factors does he weigh, and for how long?
Additionally, please compare Miles and T’Challa or Kara. What’s one interesting difference and one interesting similarity?

/in /by adminScenarioYou are a production manager for Gold Corporation, a manufacturing company that manufactures bottles of liquid soap. The equipment you are using is over 20 years old, having been purchased when liquid soap first entered the retail market. While the equipment still works, you incur $100,000 annually in maintenance expenses because the equipment is old. You presently produce 1 million cases of liquid soap per year. This soap sells for $3 per case. Given the age of the equipment, you anticipate a decline in production of 50,000 cases in each of the next five years because of breakdowns in the equipment. You have been researching new production equipment and have found a new machine that will reduce annual operating costs to $48,000 per year and allow an increase in production over the 1 million cases presently being sold by sales and marketing. In conversations with sales and marketing, management believes that they can increase sales by 1% per year for the next five years. The new machine will have a fully loaded cost of $370,000, and an expected useful life of 5 years with no salvage value. The old machine can be sold today as scrap for $5,000.InstructionsPrepare a 6-10 slide PowerPoint presentation for management to demonstrate the following:Develop a schedule of projected cash flows using current equipment including the reduction in future sales.Develop a schedule of projected cash flows using discounted cash flows for the proposed new equipment.Analyze the projected cash flows and evaluate the feasibility of the proposed capital investment.Make a recommendation on the course of action management of Gold Corporation should take regarding the capital equipment used in this manufacturing process.
solved Commercial leases are complex documents (contracts) that vary in size
/in /by adminCommercial leases are complex documents
(contracts) that vary in size and structure depending on the type of
business lease it is. For example, a commercial lease for an office
space in a downtown Seattle or Bellevue high rise building is going to
look a bit different than a commercial lease for a small business in
downtown Renton. For this assignment you are going to use an old lease
form that I used many years ago and modified for various small
businesses. The commercial leases for Seattle, etc. are very lengthy
and fill a 3″ ring binder and have several pages of signature lines and
notary blocks. I am not asking you to do that.Remember the Arbitration language Well, now you get your chance to put that
language into a contract. you just have to copy and paste
into the proper place in the document (which I have given you). You will have to do a Table of Contents and make sure that you put
proper page numbers on the Table of Contents. My form is old and
therefore the Table of Contents that is there needs to be revised but
there is an easier way to do that without pulling your hair out and
getting frustrated. Below is a link for instructions to read and I have
also attached a YouTube video – your choice. https://www.howtogeek.com/426644/how-to-create-a-table-of-contents-in-word/ (Links to an external site.)

Assignment:Prepare a commercial lease with the requirements on the Project Assignments handout.Add an arbitration paragraph after the attorneys fee provision in the lease (provided below). Then make sure to update the cover page, footers and page numbers (adding your name to the bottom of the footer). Finally, add a table of contents (directions attached)

Use Transparency International to identify three measures of corruption. Consider a review of the following:Corruption Perceptions IndexGlobal Corruption BarometerGlobal Corruption ReportDiscuss what these political risks mean for businesses. What challenges or opportunities might an organization recognize with regard to the government and corrupt practices in the region? How can an organization protect against these risks and prepare management for issues they might face?Respond to two of your classmates and share your observations regarding the government and corruption in the country. Ask questions to encourage further considerations.Once you have received feedback from your peers and instructor, you will insert your data and summarize your analysis findings in the Final Project Presentation Template PPT provided. In the ‘70s, many of us in operations management foresaw the day when our factories would become dark, meaning that lights were no longer needed as human labor was replaced by automation/robotics. Certainly there are many factories that approach this today.  We are seeing a similar shift in agriculture and the service industries. Homes and hotels are being printed with 3-D printers.  For instance, in agriculture over the last couple of hundred years we have shifted from the majority of the population being directly involved in food production to a very small percentage.  Unless some major disturbance occurs, the trend will continue. At some point, be it 20, 30 or 50 years from now, only a very small percentage of the world population will be required in the production of  all the food, devices, products, shelter, clothing, clean water and energy that the global population needs.Â
