“Team Building”
As we learn in chapter 7, there are several team building strategies coaches can use to create cohesive and effective teams.  Many movies have demonstrated the strategies that coaches have implemented to achieve impressive results. 
Examples of these motivational movies include:

Reflecting on one of these movies, or another of your choice:

Discuss the team building approaches used by the coach. 
How was cohesion achieved? 
What are your thoughts on the approaches used?

Disproportionality in special educationOne risk factor not mentioned in your textbook is the issue of disproportionality, where students of color are more likely to be placed in special education programs. Studies show that bias based on race, ethnicity, and other factors plays a part in the way that students are identified for special education.
