POETRY 1: “The Flea”—John Donne POETRY2: “A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning”—John Donne1. RESEARCHED FORUM POST USING AN ACADEMIC JOURNAL ARTICLEChoose a poem from the Lesson’s Poems list. Find an article from an academic journal that analyzes the poem or a related topic–NOT JUST SUMMARY but analysis/interpretation of the poem or one aspect like symbol or setting. To find an academic article, search our library databases JSTOR, Academic OneFile, or Academic Search Elite. Contact the reference librarians if you have trouble. If you are outside the U.S. and do not have access to the KCC library databases, other databases like Proquest or Baidu may work but will likely require a subscription fee. Ask me if you are not sure your source is appropriate.Write the source information using correct MLA format. Many databases will actually provide the citation for you. For example, in Academic OneFile, look below the article. In Ebsco click “Cite” in the right window and scroll down to MLA. Those citations are generally accurate, but the software will sometimes make errors. You are responsible for correcting any errors. See the online formatting and style guide in the Purdue OWL or the KCC library website MLA page. Present the source material you found. Explain in your own words the info you found in your source. DO NOT WRITE A SIMPLE PLOT SUMMARY OR PARAPHRASE OF THE POEM. Instead, summarize the analytical source you found. If it’s a long article, you may choose to summarize only one of the major concepts. Write a commentary on the info you found. You may agree or disagree with the source, or you may address your personal interpretation of the poem, based on that source material. You might go in another direction. The important thing is to analyze and interpret. Minimum 150 words, maximum 400 words. 2. RESEARCHED FORUM POST USING A WEBSITE SOURCEChoose another poem from the Lesson Poems list (not one you already used). Repeat the above assignment, but this time use a web source found via a search engine like Google. Choose your source carefully to find something that goes beyond summary. To find better sources, be sure to type in the poem title and a term like “analysis.” If you use a source like Sparknotes or Cliff’s Notes, omit the poem summary and use only an analytical section. Although you might read Wikipedia for your own edification, do not use Wikipedia for your cited source. Put the URL (webaddress) at the end of the MLA citation.Minimum 150 words, maximum 400 words.

/in /by adminSo far, you have engaged in discussions on transparency and conducted a SWOT Analysis with your task force. Because SWOT Analyses are so foundational to organizational planning in any field, we want to give you another opportunity to practice, with a focus on your own discipline. While a SWOT Analysis is best done in a group, you will do this one on your own, focusing on a company’s ethical dilemma and the consequences faced.Find a company of interest to you that has gone under or had extensive negative media attention due to unethical decisions (e.g. data privacy mishandling, financial improprieties, denials of service to people from different cultures, responding to protests, other social injustices, etc.). You may know of a prominent organization in your field, or there may be a “notorious” organization in your region that you would like to examine more deeply. Choose one that has enough information in the public domain for you to be able to conduct your SWOT. Use credible media sources on the organization. Then supplement these with your discipline’s code of ethics and at least one scholarly peer-reviewed article from the Excelsior Library (Links to an external site.) (required) on the ethical issue represented to provide an evidence-based analysis. In addition to your code of ethics, you may find it helpful to revisit previous modules and speaker sessions to identify some of the issues we have discussed thus far, including codes of ethics, diversity and inclusion, and the multigenerational workplace. Now that you have gathered your credible source information, use the SWOT Analysis template to conduct a SWOT Analysis on the decision and the alignment or misalignment of its organizational strategy (which would drive the decision) and the organization’s stated values.Select three to five of each of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Do not exceed five in any one category.Once you have completed the actual SWOT Analysis, provide a one-paragraph analysis summary that describes the main findings of your SWOT Analysis. Then add a 2-3 paragraph recommendation for how the organization could have leveraged the strengths and opportunities to choose a different decision—one that might abide more strongly to your discipline’s code of ethics.Your SWOT Analysis should be two to three pages, not including your title and reference pages. Please use current APA standards in all aspects of your SWOT Analysis assignment. Be sure to credit the sources you use to support your SWOT using both in-text citations and a reference page.

/in /by adminAfter reading Scholes and Merlo, find two outside articles, use them to support any section of the paper. You may not use articles assigned in class. Find a commercial that supports your position (Stay in 3rd Person). This means that although you personally might not agree that advertising has any effect at all on society, you as a writer need to write as though your ad is basically a manual on what is normal and right in society. What is your ad teaching us about what we are to value, how we should behave, and who matters? What is the worldview? If seen in another country, what would they think about Americans? Your ad must be approved by me before submitting the paper. Ads may not be older than 5 years. Papers submitted without an approved commercial will not be accepted. I found this commercial, which was approved by My professor. You must use the following commercial (Nike Equality). Here is the Ad link. Â
The first step in your essay is to write an introduction to the paper. Then in the first body paragraph start describing your ad in as much detail as possible. Who are the characters? What kind of physical attributes do they possess? What group(s) do they represent? Are we supposed to be sympathetic to them? Should we admire them? Want to be who they are? Note: You’ll need far more detail than you think. You can’t say too much. Use your finest observational and creative writing skills here. Do not exceed 1/3 of the paper in length.
After writing a lengthy, thorough description, take into account the following questions. Some might not be relevant to your particular ad:
Examine the world view promoted by this advertisement. Although in your heart you might believe that the ad is “just funny,†or “just an ad,†as a writer take on the assumption that this ad is disseminating a philosophical and political way of life. What is it? What does it show as core, uniquely American Values if viewed in another country? Does it represent our society truthfully? What are the implications if society buys into it? What will our culture look like if we espouse what we are seeing? How does it reflect family, marriage, relationships, friendship, discipline, education, work ethic, industry, patriotism, nationalism, geo-politics…? Total page length for this paper is 3 ½  to 4 pages plus a Works Cited page that includes your outside sources and the ad. Stay 3rd person throughout. Use correct MLA format double spaced, (pg. 37 in the reader) (Note: this paper will be electronically checked for plagiarism, be careful, and cite correctly).

solved Drawing from your readings AND the videos, answer the following
/in /by adminDrawing from your readings AND the videos, answer the following questions. Make sure to provide specific examples. Use your own words to define terms. Feel free to draw upon discussions with your classmates as well.Question:Why do you believe families around the world have experienced so many changes over the past few decades? What are those changes? Do you believe those changes are positive or negative, and why do you think so? Please watch the video that I have given below on Dalits (Untouchables in India=low caste people) You are more than welcome to bring in other examples; This video is just one example to show us how caste system could affect a role in making changes in Indian society. Let me give you a very brief explanation of India’s caste system which will make it a bit easier for you to start the thinking process. The caste system within Hinduism is hierarchical and posits a very different perspective of human identity and capacity than we usually see in the United States. According to the caste system, the different castes have innate capacities for certain types of jobs. It is important to note that not all Hindus accept the caste system, and there have been important Indian reformers who have worked against the caste system. Caste discrimination was made illegal in the 1948 Indian Constitution; however, caste discrimination still persists. We can compare this to the way that racial discrimination is illegal in the United States; however, racism still persists here. Some points to keep in mind: 1. Racism is not based on religion. It is easier to formulate social change and modify political opinions than it is to alter religious tenets. 2. Media. Radio and television were instrumental in promoting the civil rights movement in America. Scenes of Southern police officers and dogs attacking peaceful African-American marchers were beamed into the homes of millions of Americans, graphically depicting the injustices being perpetrated against minorities and those supporting them.3. Politicians have used the caste system to keep the population divided to their own ends. Interestingly, in India, it is the BJP party, which is more religious in nature, that has elevated Dalit (Untouchables=low caste people) leaders to the position of president of India. The more secular, socialist Congress party has done comparatively little to promote the general well-being of the Dalit community. Are there any political parallels in America (use objective sources to support your position)?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nbqAl0qPPULinks to an external site.
solved Research Paper: This is a graduate course and students will
/in /by adminResearch Paper: This is a graduate course and students will be expected to research and write papers summarizing in their own words what they have found on current topics from the weekly readings. Research is a theoretical review of relevant literature and application of findings in the literature to a topic related to a specific industry, field, or business problem.
The research must be conducted using peer-reviewed trade or academic journals. While Blogs, Wikipedia, encyclopedias, course textbooks, popular magazines, newspaper articles, online websites, etc. are helpful for providing background information, these resources are NOT suitable resources for this research assignment.
Assignment Requirements:
Choose a research topic from the chapter readings or from the list provided by your professor.
Research/find a minimum at least four (4), preferably five (5) or more, different peer reviewed articles on your topic from the University Library online business database. The article(s) must be relevant and from a peer-reviewed source. While you may use relevant articles from any time frame, current/published within the last five (5) years are preferred. Using literature that is irrelevant or unrelated to the chosen topic will result in a point reduction.
Write a four (4) to five (5) page double spaced paper in APA format discussing the findings on your specific topic in own words. Note- paper length does not include cover page, abstract, or references page(s).
Structure your paper as follows:
Cover page
Overview describing the importance of the research topic to current business and professional practice in own words.
Purpose of Research should reflect the potential benefit of the topic to the current business and professional practice and the larger body of research.
Review of the Literature summarized in own words. Note that this should not be a “copy and paste†of literature content, nor should this section be substantially filled with direct quotes from the article. A literature review is a summary of the major points and findings of each of the selected articles (with appropriate citations). Direct quotations should be used sparingly. Normally, this will be the largest section of your paper (this is not a requirement; just a general observation).
Practical Application of the literature. Describe how your findings from the relevant research literature can shape, inform, and improve current business and professional practice related to your chosen topic.
Conclusion in own words
References formatted according to APA style requirements

/in /by adminMaryland Home and Community-Based Services (MHCBS) is considering a major expansion that will enable it to attract a different clientele to its organization. Currently, they serve only 34% of the frail elderly seniors and persons with disabilities in the local area. The new chief executive officer (CEO) would like the organization to expand its revenue stream by investing in a multipurpose center serving healthy seniors by offering them arts and crafts and health and wellness programs. The center will also contain an Internet café offering nutritious breakfast and lunch options. The CEO has commissioned a needs assessment and the study’s results reveal the following:Approximately 120 seniors in the local community are interested in this center. The CEO expects growth of the aging population to be at least 10% each year.Cost growth across all areas of expenses is expected to rise by 5% each year. The CEO has presented her proposal and financial information to the Board of Directors, and they have advised her that they are in full support of her strategy only if the program is a benefit to the community and if the organization can recoup its investment in five years. The CEO has asked you if this can be achieved. Based on the information presented in the scenario:Calculate break-even and payback period analyses. See Excel Spreadsheet to show your calculation.Explain, in a 2-4 page memorandum to the CEO, their implications. Provide the discussion in the memorandum (must be in proper Memo format). *At least one (1) cited source is required.Service Line Break Even Analysis MemoThe proposed costs to operate this new facility are as follows:Expected Monthly Revenue (Membership Fee): $125 per personMonthly Fixed CostsUtilities: $590Health/Wellness Staff: $2,500Arts/Crafts Staff: $2,000Supplies: $800Fitness Equipment Maintenance Contract: $200Variable CostsMonthly Lunch Cost: $25Monthly Breakfast Cost: $15Based on the information above, once the minimum threshold of participants is reached, the initial investment to establish the center is $317,880. The organization anticipates that it will generate $46,920 of net revenues in the first year, $68,166 in the second year, $93,404 in the third year, $123,287 in the fourth year, and $158,573 in the fifth year.Perform the break-even analysis to determine how many seniors would need to have a full monthly membership for MHCBS to cover its monthly expenses. Calculate the payback period to determine how long it will take MHCBS to recover its initial investment of establishing the senior multipurpose center.

solved The United Nations has continued to retain you as a
/in /by adminThe United Nations has continued to retain you as a consultant for a project that deals with climate and the environment. Most developed countries see the dangers of releasing too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and are committed to climate policies that attain a carbon-free future in the next 30 years. They already see the damaging effects that this gas alone is having on the living conditions of crops, wildlife, and humans. As a result, many member states are dissatisfied with the progress of the eight Millennium Development Goals for international development that they established in 2000. The member states see a substantial disconnect between several issues that developed and developing countries believe are priorities. For example, Burundi wants one of the goals to focus on food security, while Austria is adamant that a major global issue should be the negotiation of ceasefires in countries in the midst of civil wars. The UN wants you to work from the list below and prioritize two of the global community’s threats that it deems the most serious to environmental stability.
Instructions
Step 1
Select two threats. Listed below are eight issues that the UN feels pose the most significant threats to global security. Some of these apply to the Earth’s 7.7 billion people, while others are limited primarily to developing countries. Regardless of where these threats are concentrated, your job as a consultant is to identify two of them that you consider the most critical to the globe’s population.
Issue Options
The use of fossil fuels as an energy source.
Globalization.
Insufficient educational opportunities in developing countries.
A lack of access to technology.
Civil war (NOT the U.S. Civil War).
The rise in oceans’ levels.
Covid-19 and the global pandemic.
The dangers of poor countries remaining poor.
Step 2
Write a minimum of an 8 page persuasive paper about your two threats.
Write an introduction paragraph of at least one-half page in length identifying the two threats you have selected and the purpose of the paper. Then, for the two threats you chose:
Identify the factors that make it such a serious risk to the global environment that you would choose to present it to the UN.
Analyze the role that humans have played in aggravating this threat to the Earth’s environment.
Suggest initiatives that the global community can take to mitigate the worst effects of this environmental threat.
Write a conclusion paragraph of at least one-half page in length that summarizes your impressions of these risks for global stability.
