Now that you have completed Phase I of your investigation, you begin to transition to Phase II by analyzing the evidence for concepts related to the offense itself. Consider what physical evidence exists, the location of the offense, crime scene type, and what actions the offender, as well as the victim, took. By analyzing the concepts of the crime, a motive or intent of the crime may become evident. Specific signature behaviors, staging, and offender modus operandi may be identified. It is also during this phase that the forensic psychology professional will need to determine if additional information is needed to complete the analysis. This information could include medical examinations, interviews, forensic analyses, etc.
This week, you start Phase II of the criminal investigative analysis process as you analyze the offense in the criminal report, looking directly at the evidence of the crime to determine if the crime was organized or disorganized. You also consider if there is evidence to determine a motive, staging, modus operandi, and type of violence.

/in /by adminHello, I have a philosophy paper about Avicenna. PLEASE ANSWER QUESTIONS 1, 2, and 4 ONLY. Below I will attach some documents with notes that may be useful. Please message me if anything!Check List1. General Advice to ConsiderYou wrote this paper in your natural voice and didn’t mimic a sort of academic/formal way of writingyou set your imaginary reader as a smart non-philosophy major such as your high school history teacher or your brilliant physicist grandma. (this should be taken with a grain of salt though)you minimized the use of jargons, and, when they are used, they are (mostly) from the course material and you tried to define them.2. IntroductionI avoid clichéd starters, e.g., “Since the beginning of time, philosophers have pondered…†and “The dictionary defines ‘virtue’ as…â€I have given the reader a brief road map of what to expect in my paper.I have a thesis statement that tells the reader the main objective of my paper.I have stated my thesis clearly and succinctly. All of my sentences are precise and necessary for the advancement of my thesis.3. Body of the PaperI start each paragraph with a topic sentence, i.e., a sentence that highlights the point of the paragraph. If I have provided a quotation or paraphrase,it is properly cited.I have explained the idea(s) presented.I have explained the importance of including it.My argument is valid.I provide strong evidence for each premise in my argument. All of my sentences are precise and necessary for the advancement of my thesis.4. ConclusionI have briefly restated my thesis and outlined how my argument supports the thesis.I have not raised any new issues regarding the points discussed in my paper. All of my sentences are precise and necessary for the advancement of my thesis.5. RevisionI have proof-read my paper twice. There are no grammatical errors.I have included all the information relevant for responding to the prompt, e.g., for every question in the prompt, I have explicitly provided an answer.I have included my student ID number but not my name.I have formatted my paper according to instructions (e.g., page-limit, font, line-spacing, etc.)All of my sentences are precise and necessary for the advancement of my thesis.

/in /by adminPurpose The purpose of this Extra Credit Discussion is twofold: 1) to reflect back, at the end of the course – on the relationship between science and philosophy, and 2) to reflect on this relationship against the contrast between modern and postmodern thinking. DirectionsPlease read Chapter XV: The Value of Philosophy (Links to an external site.) in Bertrand Russell’s 1912 book The Problems of Philosophy. After careful reflection, please answer the following questions:According to Bertrand Russell, what is the relevance of philosophical inquiry? Do you think that the misconceptions he speaks of are still prevalent in today’s society (our selection is the last chapter of Russell’s 1912 book The Problems of Philosophy)? Please make sure to be specific, and carefully explain your reasoning. According to Russell, what does the enduring value of philosophy consist in? What is the purpose of practicing philosophy? Do Russell’s ideas align with YOUR expectations of what it means to practice philosophy? Please make sure to be specific, and carefully explain your reasoning. Respond to at least two of your classmates. In order to respond to a classmate, open the classmate’s post and click ‘Reply’. If you agree with your classmate’s view, please provide additional evidence to support his or her view. If you disagree, please provide evidence to the contrary. Please make sure to be specific in your remarks, and carefully explain your reasoning.  You must create your POST before you can reply to your classmates. Therefore, you should create your POST a day or two before the discussion deadline.Your initial post should be about 200-300 words in length, and your responses to classmates should each be about 100-200 words in length, but feel free to be as detailed as you wish.Your post and your responses must be written in proper English (correct spelling and grammar, and appropriate style). It is recommended to write your post and responses using a word processing program and copy and paste the completed post and responses. This will avoid losing work in case of internet outage, etc. You are encouraged to comment on your classmate’s feedback to your initial post and keep the (civilized!) discussion going.

Guenole and colleagues (2017) say resistance must be addressed head-on by removing your own judgements and acknowledging different stakeholder viewpoints. Historically, resistance has always been an issue recognizing problem gambling as a real addiction. Casinos in the United States have not embraced problem gambling as a major societal problem. Conversely, treatment centers like PGC where my project was done have been skeptical of problem gambling research because it was largely funded by the casino industry and viewed as bias. (Collins, 2015). At public hearings to obtain new or renewal gaming licenses, casinos have supported research that shows only a fraction of the population develops a genuine problem. However, Shaffer (2019) suggested that there are no significant differences between gambling industry funded research and non-industry funded research with regards to the design and outcomes.
While casinos recognize the risk of problem gambling, they only advocated for “responsible gambling strategies†instead of treatment that promotes gambling abstinence.  (Baxter, 2016). This has caused resistance to any collaborations with the casino industry in the past. Within the casinos ranks, historically there are also competing interest. Casino marketers support the business model of getting whomever to gamble while the human resource department views problem gambling amongst their employees as loss of productivity. The internal dispute made it difficult for any coordination of services or collaborations with the broader community. Building trust would be the only way to begin the process of ending resistance. Promoting trust in a collaboration begins with realistic expectations The casino industries commitment to address problem gambling will build community trust and will end their resistance by acknowledging problem gambling as a public health crisis. Casinos must understand the negative societal effects and that the lost productivity of problem gamblers outweighs the revenue those same gambles contribute.

For the people side of change, project team members need to navigate how changes impact the day-to-day lives of stakeholders and may even find resistance to changes; thus causing additional efforts of the team to actively work to identify these resistors and determine how to overcome such. The change request process is the portion of change management where we track scope or other changes to the project, gain appropriate approvals, and amend the project. Take a moment to search the web for articles related to project change management. In addition read the article in the Week 5 folder and watch the following videos related to Change Management:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSHyvLjZHcwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qlJ_Y8w5YkStakeholder Analysis:Stakeholders are defined as all individuals or groups who have a role in the project and can potentially impact, either positively or negatively, its deployment. Stakeholders can be either internal or external. Internal stakeholders are those within your organization, whereas external stakeholders are those outside your organization. It is also important to consider stakeholders who may not be actively working on your project. For example, an environmental group may not directly work on your project but could impose restrictions which could impact the project success. A project team will perform a stakeholder analysis in order to classify stakeholders appropriately. Further, this will let you know when and how to best communicate the project status, issues, etc to the appropriate stakeholder groups.Click below to watch a brief video about stakeholder analysis:https://www.pmi.org/learning/library/implementing-…https://www.pmi.org/learning/library/stakeholder-a…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFHlal9fwkU
