***Make a comment ***In 2015, first responder suicide rates are currently about ten times that of other citizens. There is an obvious need to lower this rate, which has caused the National Fallen Firefighters’ Foundation to develop the Firefighter Life Safety Initiative (US Fire Administration, 2016). Depression, PTSD, and suicidal ideation are the leading issues. The suicide risk of EMS personnel is particularly high, and firefighters and police officers die more often of suicide than all other line of duty death causes (Vigil et al., 2021). This has prompted many changes in most states directed at the mental health care available for this population sector.Several initiatives have come out nationally as well as on a state-by-state and at local levels. One of the initiatives was a bolstering of post-incident debriefing and counseling services. Debriefing has happened informally since the dawn of emergency response, often in the form of gathering around a table, but is now formalized with protocols that have proven effective. Another initiative is an increase of availability of therapy and counseling services to responders as part of employee assistance programs, including volunteers, and the inclusion of mental health responsibilities for health and safety officers. A third initiative is the inclusion of mental health in the pre-incident plans for all disciplines of first responders (Fire, law enforcement, and EMS). This stems directly to the fourth initiative: educating leadership and responders about mental health, resilience training, and the effects of what responders see and do as a part of their normal activities (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration [SAMHSA], 2018). The education is the most important of all the interventions as knowledge and recognition ability is what allows responders to access help.

Analyzing the Data and Gain InsightsIn a virtual recent conference for Privacy & Data Protection, Apple’s Tim Cook said it’s “time to stop pretending that this approach doesn’t come with a cost”. From a leadership perspective in assessing data and making the right decisions in an organization, think about how executive leadership from the top media companies differ so significantly. At the end of December 2015, Facebook had an average of 1.04 billion daily active users, 934 million mobile daily active users, more than 70 languages, 125 billion friend connections, and over 205 billion photos uploaded every day, including 30 billion pieces of content and 2.7 billion likes (Facebook, 2015). Over the years that has created new pathways for social and cultural dynamics across the globe including buying out WhatsApp and Instagram, among others. With managing so much data, personal data comes significant responsibility. The responsibility you would think would not come unnoticed when managing a technology company with this volume of user data. So, how did Facebook and specifically Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook’s founder and Chief Executive) get the data privacy issue wrong?Could Mark have foreseen this type of issue from the onset in creating Facebook? What approaches should Facebook and other social media companies take to correct the data management issue? For Reference you can also use this article to gain additional perspective:https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/21/technology/mark-zuckerberg-q-and-a. solved There are many online prevention programs for children who are

There are many online prevention programs for children who are living in stressful situations. One of those was a web-based program presented by Boring et al. (2015). There are other programs as well, such as the eight-session program provided by Lester et al. (2013). For this assignment, you are expected to develop a face-to-face, six-session program. While you may adapt elements from published programs including those listed above, you are expected to develop your own program. The more concise your audience is, the more defined your program will be. For example, you may choose a specific age range to develop your program, like teenagers.
For this assignment, you are going to select a specific age, gender, ethnic group, or occupation to create a six-session program to develop and enhance selected coping skills and reduce stress. You will be providing a short handout for the participants in your program incorporating the coping skills on which you are focused.
The goal is to incorporate much of the information you have learned in the course so that you will be able to provide definitions, problem- and emotional-focused coping techniques, and desired outcomes. For this assignment, you need to present an annotated outline and a handout. The annotated outline must include the steps/techniques of your program and cited sources supporting the use of the selected techniques. If for example, you chose to adapt relaxation as a technique from the Boring et al. protocol, you would need to cite support for the efficacy of each of the techniques including teaching relaxation and positive cognitive restructuring. The handout must provide participants with definitions and techniques they can use when they get home. They must be written at a level appropriate for your target population. The handout should be visually attractive and organized well.

I’m studying for my Art class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

rt Journal: A VERY BRITISH RENAISSANCE
Start Assignment
Before beginning this Art Journal, be sure to view the supplement Web Link A Very British Renaissance.
This documentary sets out to show that with the help of some important non-English people, England was able to partake in a Renaissance of its very own. The Renaissance in England has often been forgotten or ignored, and some very interesting light has been shed in this film.
Journal Questions:
Describe which artwork/s or segment/s made strong impressions upon you while watching the film. You are not limited to just one.
How did the artwork/s or segment/s make you feel and/or think of?
Did this film open your eyes or challenge your views regarding the period in which historians have dubbed the Renaissance?
Do not go to Google for answers to the questions or supporting information. The journal experience is about you telling me your very own thoughts and opinions while viewing the documentary film.
If any portion of your entry is not yours, meaning you used/referred to other sources, your journal entry will receive a zero.
Writing your Essay:
Write a short essay that answers the above questions and provide comments about your own viewing experience.
Quality is better than quantity. Be sure to stay on task. Citing and quoting from the film may prove helpful as does referring to particular time segments (at 12:16 when such and such is mentioned) when the name of the artwork might be in question or to better support your idea. The purpose of this exercise is to promote critical thinking. Be sure to provide detailed and supportive answers.
The best method for entering your essays into canvas is to cut and paste them after they have been through spell checking and translating.

Assignment: Eating Disorders
Eating disorders can plague both males and females, and they generally have different unattainable physical appearance-related goals. Males may feel the need to develop large muscles and are more vulnerable to taking drugs or embarking on exercise regimens that move them in that direction. For males who are obese or disinterested in athletics, there may be considerable social pressure and harassment to increase their muscle mass or overall strength. Females tend to gain weight and body fat during puberty. This tendency is in direct opposition to the “skinny” images they are exposed to through the media. As a consequence, girls are more likely to diet and exercise in ways that emphasize thinness and weight loss instead of fitness. These actions can result in eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa, the act of starving oneself, and bulimia nervosa, the act of binging and purging, are chronic conditions among many children and adolescents.
For this Assignment, consider the differences between normal variations in body image and what constitutes an eating disorder. In addition, consider what types of interventions are most effective with children and adolescents with eating disorders.
The Assignment (2–3 pages):

Explain two differences between normal variations of body image and a diagnosable eating disorder.
Explain three key elements that you would include in an intervention for the prevention of eating disorders.
Explain which of the three key elements would be developmentally appropriate for children and developmentally appropriate for adolescents, and explain why.
Explain which of the three key elements might apply best to males and which of the three key elements might apply best to females, and explain why. Be specific.
Justify your response using the week’s resources and the current literature.

You will submit 4 response papers throughout the semester, following the calendar of deadlines on Canvas. In each response paper you will offer your analysis of one or more primary text of your choice from each module. No additional research is required for this assignment. Just focus on the assigned readings.
Response papers should be structured as miniature essays—with a clear introduction, analysis, and conclusion. Response paper should include quotations from the primary text or texts under discussion. Make sure each quotation is followed by the appropriate citation. Eg: “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet” (Owen 1996, 37).
You can choose to focus on one particular text, or on a specific issue or concern across several primary texts in that module.  Papers should include your ideas, reflections, and questions that arise during the reading of the texts. They may also address larger issues or draw a comparison with previous course readings, as the semester progresses. You should think of the response papers as a venue for exploring ideas and themes that could potentially become the topic for a longer paper.
Format: Paper should be 2-3 pages (about 600-700 words), typed in Times New Roman 12pt font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins all around. Include your name, course number, and date on the first page. Put an exciting title to your paper. Number the pages. You must include a final bibliography or reference list. This will understandably be very short (it could be just one entry, which is perfectly fine!) but it’s going to be good practice for the longer essays. For all citations, follow the Chicago Manual of Style (use the Author-Date system, that is, in-text parenthetical citations rather than footnotes). See this link for a quick reference:

solved Research Paper Instructions: Choose one of the topics listed below

Research Paper Instructions:

Choose one of the topics listed below to write an 8-10 page research paper on. (8-10 pages excluding the title page, reference list, appendices) Your paper MUST be in APA Format.

Do not include quotes in your work. I want to see your critical thinking skills on display and not a string of quotes written by published authors. Your analysis is what is needed for a successful paper. At this point in your educational journey, you should have solid substance and proper academic formatting in your college-level writing assignments. Students will be graded on both so make sure you turn in your best work. Do not wait until the last minute to research, write, format, and edit. Proper time management is required to turn in a quality paper that highlights your criminal justice writing.

This is a major assignment so please follow the instructions carefully.
1. Use at least five articles from scholarly sources in a paper that discusses police departments and crime control strategies.
2. Use at least five articles from scholarly sources in a paper that discusses illegal drug use, illegal prostitution, and money laundering.
3. Use at least five articles from scholarly sources in a paper that compares and contrasts the problems associated with defining and determining the frequency of corporate crime in the United States.
4. Use at least five articles from scholarly sources in a paper that examines one of the various theories that explain crime.
5. Use at least five articles from scholarly sources in a paper that critiques middle-class delinquency’s relationship to gangs.
Use the APUS library to find at least five, peer-reviewed articles that cover your chosen topic from the list above. Again, you are required to use scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, in-text citations, and provide a reference page for this paper.

Examine and apply the consumer-buying process for BMW. Identify the steps and the application to BMW. How does this process assist the marketing team at BMW?
How could data analytics be used to research the consumer in order to ensure a strong understanding of overall business and marketing outcomes at BMW?
Within the case, several clearly different target markets are identified. What does BMW do well to target each of these groups, and what could it do better? Within your response, include the process of segmentation.

Part 2
Complete a case analysis of BMW. This requires that you conduct research on BMW beyond the case study material in the textbook. In the case analysis, you will look at the situational analysis, problem, and alternatives, and you will provide a recommendation. Refer to the instructions below as you construct your analysis.

Situational Analysis

Discuss the external environment through the compilation of a PEST (political, economic, sociocultural, and technology) analysis.
Discuss the internal and external environment through the compilation of a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis.

Problem

Identify at least one organizational problem that BMW is currently having or one in which you project it will have in the future. Base this upon your research and critical thinking.

Alternatives

Compile three or four potential marketing-related solutions to the problem above. Remember that these are potential alternatives; you will not select all of the alternatives to solve the problem.

Recommendation (Marketing Strategy)

Select one or two of the alternatives above to solve the problem that you identified in this case analysis.
Discuss your rationale for choosing these and not the others. Include supporting research that will increase the depth of your analysis.
