solved For your discussion topic this week I would like you

For your discussion topic this week I would like you to reflect on the role of MUSEUMS in modern culture.Let’s revisit some of the writing of the historian Dr. Dr. Elizabeth RodiniArt museums today continue to struggle with issues of social relevance, elitism, and ownership. Many professionals worry about “threshold fear,” the idea that museums intimidate visitors who were not raised in a museum culture and feel unwelcome and unrepresented in their galleries.Others believe art museums are sacrificing their traditional role by bending to popular culture and the market, exhibiting motorcycles, tennis shoes, and runway fashions to draw in visitors. As museums become spaces of international attention, particularly tourism, some see them neglecting local communities: the Guggenheim, for example, has been criticized for favoring famous international artists at the expense of regional ones. The role of an expanding global museum paradigm is equally complicated.Clearly, museums have never been neutral spaces, and the conceit that they present widely shared social values to which we all aspire is wildly out of date. Art museums in the early twenty-first century are charged political spaces where social struggles are being played out on powerful, highly visible stages. The questions I pose for your reflection this week:Should art museums underscore cultural continuities, perhaps encouraging empathy, or should they highlight cultural differences and express diversity?Who should decide what objects or what art is represented in modern museums? What do YOU value in museums that are within the geographical zone close to you?

PurposeThis assignment is designed to familiarize you with the genre of the interview video and to prepare you to be able to create a documentary project.InstructionsInterview your portrait subject for between 10 and 25 minutes, then begin reworking your interview to include essential moments from the interview. The video should incorporate the following aspects:Ensure that your subject is comfortable with whichever space you choose. Prepare 10 or so questions, plan the space, prepare your subject, compose your medium shot on the tripod, and use your wired lavalier microphones to record clean sound (minimal/no background noise) of you and your interviewee. If there’s a lot of wind when you’re filming outside, you’ll need to decide whether to move the interview inside or if you want to make or purchase a microphone windscreen. It’s best to film the interview inside to avoid this and use the interview audio over your outside shots. When you edit your interview for essential moments, remember to include shots outside of the interview (i.e. shot of a field, a shot of a building, a person walking, etc.) that supplement the interview. The final interview video should be between 4-5 min. You will submit the final video and a brief description (no more than a paragraph) of your interview questions and your interview goal.SubmissionYou will use your Miami-provided YouTube account to upload your videos and share the link to complete your assignment submission. You will also submit your brief description and interview goal using the text field below.GradingReview the rubric below to learn more about the grading criteria.

solved Advanced registered nursing graduates are entering the profession at dynamic

Advanced registered nursing graduates are entering the profession at dynamic time when roles and scope of practice are shifting based on developments in legislation and policy in response to the evolving needs of the health care system. Professional nursing organizations play an important role in making sure the perspectives of advanced registered nurses are heard, and in supporting nurse specialties in their efforts to expand their scope of practice and their full participation throughout the health care system.
For this assignment, you will conduct research on the current scope of practice for your specialty and efforts that are being made to expand that scope and the role of the advanced registered nurse in positively influencing the health care system. Response Guidelines
Respond to at least one other learner regarding his or her thoughts about the benefits of organization change theory.
Student post down below:
Boyd (2015) questions if organizational theory is needed. Citing that there are at minimum two answers to this question. Boyd (2015) notes that we exist in organizational communities and that organizational settings dominate out lives (i.e. where we work, play and volunteer), thus the need to acquire better understanding of structure, process, and outcomes for individuals, groups, and organizations where we exist. The second answer to this his question is that organization theory at various units of analysis can assist community researchers to better understand the complexities of community settings-because communities are organizations. As Boyd (2015) suggests, the application of organizational theory in settings where we coexist might encourage those settings to run more efficiently, become more responsive, and effective organizations that provides better services, programs, and outcomes for the individuals they serve. It is my assessment that organizational change theory has proven to be beneficial as it allows organizations the ability to determine which strategies are most successful (or not) as well as it allows the organization the ability to facilitate the process for achieving its desired results, goals, and/or outcomes. I further find that not only does the theory prepare the organization for change, but it also provides the organization with a process for continuous change.

solved Perform an Internet search and explore two or more websites

Perform an Internet search and explore two or more websites featuring painters’ works. (A keyword search using the words visual+arts+painting will result in a multitude of sites.) Choose TWO PAINTINGS (each from a different artist) that, in your estimation, stand out above the others. Do not use paintings from the text for this assignment! It is highly suggested that you explore museum sites to guarantee the reputability of paintings selected.

In an essay format and in your own words, compare and contrast both paintings in terms of the history, medium, technique, and a number of elements (and/or principles)of design of your choice that you have learned about thus far in this course. For example, what specific colors, shapes, and patterns are used? Make sure that you name and briefly define the elements and/or principles of design.
Next, provide your own objective analysis of whether you believe each painting is skillful or unskillful.
Then explain whether or not each painting appeals to you andwhy. Do you like or dislike what you see?
Last, attach images of the two painting examples used in your analysis to your electronic transmission. Also include the exact URLs (Uniform Resource Locators)/Web addresses for both works (e.g.: http://www.louvre.fr/llv/musee/visite_virtuelle.jsp?bmLocale=en).
