Self-Assessment Prompt #1Hi I dropped some ppts below, just take a quick look you don’t have to read all of it, just take a look and write about it.What have you learned so far this semester about how you learn? Answer this question by giving specific examples. What approach to studying has worked well this semester, and what has not worked well? What will you try to do differently for the remainder of the semester, if anything? What changes could you make?Has the pandemic (or other stressors) affected your performance? If so, can you think of specific ways to practice self-care to help you reduce stress during the rest of this semester? Do you have any feedback for Dr. Baker on what is working well in the course and what is not working well?Your self-assessment assignment should be a minimum of two paragraphs long (about 250 words). Each self-assessment assignment is worth 1% of your final course grade. In writing your self-assessment, be sure to write about yourself (do not simply give Dr. Baker feedback – use the opportunity to think about your own performance, too). Use specific examples and details drawn from your own experience. Write simply, in your own words. DO NOT USE OTHER SOURCES OR WEBSITES. If you use other sources or websites, the highest grade you will earn on this assignment is 10/100. Submit your self-assessment assignment via the Turn-it-in dropbox. Do not email your assignment, as it will not be counted. If you have trouble submitting your assignment, call SHSU Online tech support for help at 936-294-2780. I need an explanation for this Business question to help me study.

“From This Point On…”
Synopsis
Bernini Foods, one of several companies offering healthy, frozen-packaged meals in the once-laughable and nutritionally challenged frozen dinner industry, faced unprecedented competition from long-time industry leaders. Like its competitors, Bernini looks to increase its market share through a combination of price cuts and the introduction of new products. To meet these challenges, CEO Roberto Bernini created a new management position to monitor pricing and purchasing, and hired Lucian Wilkes for the new position. Following an intense period of in-house research and information gathering, Wilkes zeroed in on what he saw as the major problems. He made an across-the-board e-mail announcement on the new standardization procedures to be followed. The regional managers agreed with the changes implemented, but as months passed, the usual culture of business appeared to continue. The top management also showed very little interest in implementing the new changes. Wilkes wondered what his next move should be. He wondered if the company wants these new standards to be implemented or not.
Questions

1. Why do you think the regions are not responding to Wilkes’s initiative for change? What did Wilkes do wrong with respect to implementing the change?
 2. Should Wilkes solicit more active support from Bernini and McCann for the change he is trying to implement? How might he do that?
3.  Develop a plan that Wilkes can use to successfully restart the implementation of this change.

solved Print news stories have the 5 Ws, but broadcast news

Print news stories have the 5 Ws, but broadcast news stories have the 4 Cs (correctness, clarity, color and conversational style). These four Cs still serve as the basis for broadcast writing and form a good framework for talking about broadcast writing styles  Here are the rules for writing broadcast copy
Use titles before names.
Avoid abbreviations, even on second reference.

Avoid direct quotations if possible.
Attribution should come before a quotation, not after it.
Use as little punctuation as possible.
Numbers and statistics should be rounded off.

Personalize the news when possible and appropriate.
Avoid extended description.

Avoid using symbols when you write.
Use visual cues in your writing.
Use phonetic spelling for unfamiliar and hard-to-pronounce names and words.
Avoid third-person pronouns.
Avoid apposition.
Write in the present context when it is appropriate.
Avoid dependent clauses at the beginning of sentences.
The most common structure for broadcast news is called dramatic unity. This structure has three parts: climax, cause, and effect.
The climax of the story gives the listener the point of the story is about the same way the lead of a print news story does; it tells the listener what happened.
The cause portion of the story tells why it happened—the circumstances surrounding the event.

The effect portion gives the listener the context of the story and possibly some insight into what the story means.

Produce a script for a newscast.

Take Assignment 2: News Story and turn it into a segment for a newscast.
Report the story as if it just happened.

solved Prenatal substance abuse is a significant problem in this country

Prenatal substance abuse is a significant problem in this country and poses important health risks for the developing fetus. Substance abuse has been a worldwide problem at all levels of society since ancient times. Almost all drugs are known to cross the placenta and have some effect on the fetus. Children exposed to drugs, alcohol, and tobacco prenatally may exhibit a range of symptoms. Substance use among pregnant women continues to be a major public health concern as well, posing risk to the child’s development, and imposing socioeconomic burdens on society by increasing needs for medical and social services.Assignment:Present your own thoughts regarding your findings written in your own words to the class. Do not simply rewrite or restate what you have read. I am well versed on the topic so you don’t have to educate me with data and research.1.) solved As of today, less than 1 percent of all COVID-19

As of today, less than 1 percent of all COVID-19 vaccines that have been distributed around the world has gone to the poorest countries. This enormous inequality in vaccine distribution reflects structural inequalities that have existed in the global system for a long time. Use global perspectives and other concepts to explain how existing structural inequalities are impacting patterns of vaccine distribution. Use concepts such as colonialism, nationalism, imperialism, human rights, and global governance, among others. Why does vaccine inequality matter? Please pay careful attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Feel free to cite other books and articles as needed. I’m working on a film discussion question and need guidance to help me learn.

Please read and follow all directions associated with discussion postings. Watch the tutorial to be sure you understand the process and grading criteria. This week’s discussion topic is about how music is “sold” or shared (legally and illegally) on the internet. Composers and musicians have traditionally been able to earn income through sales of their recorded works and compositions. File sharing compensation laws and illegal file sharing sites have changed this in the internet age, making it more difficult for artists to be paid for music distributed over the internet. This assignment has you read about the fairly new Music Modernization Act, signed into law in 2018, and also includes jazz composer Maria Schneider’s testimony to Congress about how the large players in data collection have gotten around paying artists for the intellectual content/creative property. Artists and record companies continue making efforts to work with lawmakers to look at current file sharing law.Research this topic to find a variety of viewpoints which could help you form an educated opinion on the topic.Answer this question Post your opinion on whether you think musicians are being treated fairly in the current online music marketplace (downloads, YouTube, and music services like Rhapsody and Spotify.). Also post your opinion on whether illegal (free) music file sharing should be illegal or not. Explain why you think this way. If you reference an article or book (as you should), please cite or provide a link.

Week 2 Assignment | Teaching Offensive Technical SkillsAfter reviewing the video and article below, take one of the offensive technical skills discussed in Chapter 3 of the text and provide a review and analysis of how the author teaches and discusses this skill. In your review and analysis, be sure to address the following questions. How would YOU teach the skill? Use information from the video and the link to support your method. What specific teaching techniques would you use to instruct the skill effectively? More importantly, did the author assume anything? Put yourself in the mind of a player who knows nothing about the skill you are trying to instruct. What visualizations will you try to create in the player’s mind? What words will you use? Notice how coach Walsh states that there is no aspect in football more important than teaching. He demonstrates how good he was at teaching in the explanation of how he wants a block to occur. How will you teach your skill so effectively that the player has no doubt about what you want to occur? Each skill has a section titled “Key Points’ located on the top left hand side of the page. Explain why these key points are valuable for learning the skill.Discuss anything that you would add to this section. Did the author do a good job of correcting the common errors? What would you do differently as a coach? This essay must be submitted as an attachment on a double-spaced Word document of approximately two pages in length.
