The demand was refused, and on October 10 the Quebec Labour Minister, Pierre Laporte, was also kidnapped. Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau then invoked the War Measures’ Act on the basis of apprehended insurrection. Under the first peacetime use of the Act, several hundred Quebecers were arrested and jailed without any charge being laid. On October 16, the Canadian Army was ordered to patrol the streets of Montreal and Ottawa, and on the 17th, Pierre Laporte’s body was discovered. Several weeks later, the kidnappers of Cross were discovered. He was released in exchange for the kidnappers being given safe passage to Cuba. Most people who had been arrested under the War Measures’ Act were released.6.Passed by the Trudeau government in 1969 to enact one of the major recommendations of the Bilingual and Bicultural Commission. The Act made Canada an officially bilingual country. It required the federal government to provide services in both languages across Canada in all federal institutions.7.In the early 1960s, this was promoted by the newly elected Liberal Government of Quebec, led by Premier Jean Lasage. It sought to modernize Quebec, partially by lessening the power of the Roman Catholic Church. The government established control over education and social services and also promoted more Francophone control over the Anglophone-dominated economy. The provincial government also pushed for special status for Quebec within Confederation.8.Established in 1963 by Prime Minister Lester Pearson, it recommended that federal government services across the country should be available in French and English. It also said that the federal civil service should be open equally to English and French speakers and that French as a second language be promoted in English speaking parts of Canada.Save

Create a 5-10 minute video of yourself, as a presenter, in which you will propose an evidence-based plan to improve the outcomes for the Vila Health patient and examine how remote collaboration provided benefits or challenges to designing and delivering the care.Introduction
As technologies and the health care industry continue to evolve, remote care, diagnosis, and collaboration are becoming increasingly more regular methods by which nurses are expected to work. Learning the ways in which evidence-based models and care can help remote work produce better outcomes will become critical for success. Additionally, understanding how to leverage EBP principles in collaboration will be important in the success of institutions delivering quality, safe, and cost-effective care. It could also lead to better job satisfaction for those engaging in remote collaboration.Professional Context
Remote care and diagnosis is a continuing and increasingly important method for nurses to help deliver care to patients to promote safety and enhance health outcomes. Understanding best EBPs and building competence in delivering nursing care to remote patients is a key competency for all nurses. Additionally, in some scenarios, while you may be delivering care in person you may be collaborating with a physician or other team members who are remote. Understanding the benefits and challenges of interdisciplinary collaboration is vital to developing effective communication strategies when coordinating care. So, being proficient at communicating and working with remote health care team members is also critical to delivering quality, evidence-base care.Scenario

solved According to Gallup, US employees who are not engaged or

According to Gallup, US employees who are not engaged or actively disengaged come with a weighty cost – somewhere around a trillion dollars or so – each year. (Forbes (Links to an external site.)) With that staggering number in mind, why would managers not do all they can to keep their employees engaged and motivated? It’s not an easy task. But as the numbers indicate, one certainly worth the effort.
The information discussed in the text and in numerous online sources indicates employees are motivated by different things – both intrinsically and extrinsically – and those needs change. In addition, there is an unprecedented five generation workforce in today’s business world.
Use the links below to learn about the five generations in the workforce, what motivates them, and how managers might effectively motivate them. This is a hot topic, so you can certainly do your own search for more information, but please use the defined generations in the SHRM article to pinpoint where you fall. There is some variance between sources as to where each generation begins and ends.
SHRM – What motivates your workers it depends on their generation (Links to an external site.)
Forbes – Why leaders need to embrace employee motivation (Links to an external site.)
Text Request – 5 Ways to Bridge Your Employee Age Gap & Motivate Different Generations (Links to an external site.)
Original Post: (worth 60% of grade)

Clearly state in which generation you fall at the beginning of your post. (I am 21 so write from a 21 year old perspective)
Discuss what factors – intrinsic and extrinsic – motivate you as personally as an employee. The information on the different generations represents generalizations about what motivates each generation.
Discuss the similarities and differences between what motivates you and what is discussed in generalities for your generation.
Response Post: (worth 40% of grade)

Respond to one of your group mates who are a member of a generation different from your generation.  Once everyone has made their original post, if your group is comprised of all the same generation, then respond to any of your group mates.
What are the similarities and differences between what motivates the two of you?
What motivational theory – expectancy theory OR reinforcement theory OR goal setting theory – might a manager use to meet both your different motivational needs. Discuss how a manager might use that theory to motivate employees. I am looking for a discussion (not a single sentence) of the application of the motivational theory.  There is a section in the text that discusses how to use each theory to motivate so be sure your discussion relates to the terminology of the motivational theory and how to apply it.
For the chapter 11 DB original post make sure you are clearly identifying your generation at the beginning of your original post.  The original post asks that you (1) discuss your extrinsic and intrinsic motivators and then (2) discuss how your motivators compare to your generational motivators discussed in the articles.  An original post with only a couple of sentences on each on those two points falls short on the discussion.
The Chapter 11 response post, due Friday, 11/10 at 11:59 pm, asks that you respond to a group mate who is part of a different generation.  With that in mind, if there is not yet a post from someone who is part of another generation please hold off on making a response until after the original post deadline.  If there is no original post from a group mate who is part of another generation after the original post deadline, then your reply can be to someone of the same generation. You will lose points if you respond to a group mate of your generation if there is a post out there for a different generation.
The grading for the previous DBs were focused primarily on the original post with a smaller percentage based on the response post.  The Chapter 11 DB grade will be more equally distributed between the original and response posts.  Part of the requirement for the chapter 11 response post asks you to discuss how one of the three motivational theories listed might be used to motivate you and the group mate you are responding to.  Don’t gloss over this part.  There is a slide and a section in the text that discusses how a manager might apply Expectancy Theory, Reinforcement Theory or Goal Setting Theory.  Your response should include discussion on how to apply the theory you choose to motivate you and your group mate.  Again, discuss does not mean a single sentence or couple of sentences stating which theory you’d recommend.
Post you’re responding to:
I am a part of Generation X or Gen X as it used to be called. My intrinsic motivations comes from the fact that I  personally like to complete my tasks and then move on to help someone one else or be finished. I gain satisfaction in knowing that my part is done and completed because I did it .My extrinsic motivation in my current line of work knowing that if I work really hard today and tomorrow that I may be able to leave early or take an extra day off of work is my reward. I would also say that my daily activities working along side my staff fulfill both of these motivators. I am rewarded intrinsically because I get satisfaction in seeing them work hard and complete their job in the way that I had intended and I am rewarded extrinsically because I will at times receive a thanks and sometimes praise from my staff about how I helped them.
This is the descripton of Generation X:
Generation X members value bonuses and stock as monetary rewards and flexibility as a nonmonetary reward. This generation prefers to work independently and believes career progression should be based on competence, not rank, age or seniority in the job. The type of rewards they favor are recognition from the boss, gift cards, experiential rewards and flexible schedules.
I would say as a whole this is pretty accurate. The only difference is that I do enjoy brainstorming as a group I think good ideas come from this activity and working in a group at times is beneficial because team work is important.  I one hundred percent agree that career progression should be based on competence not to abandon those who have been there before because they hold valuable knowledge but you should earn your spot based on your ability.  I would definitely say that experiential rewards, a flexible schedule and praise from the boss or coworkers are defiantly what kinds of rewards I would favor.

Silicon Valley Organization is working toward its initial National scale drone delivery system. The drone is Making thousands of deliveries per year; according to Park, J., ETC (2018), Drone Technology could be a significant disruptor to our carbon footprint in our Fourth industry revolution. Zipline’s latest drone model flies higher and faster while being able to carry a more substantial cargo. This drone has been acquired to improve the logistics system of Ziplines; the drone can pick up to a speed of 80 mph, which is 63 to 13 mph faster than the previous drone model. This drone delivery system has become a life-saving tool for the distribution of supplies to Zipline.
The drone distribution system has successfully delivered critical medical supplies to remote areas such as vaccines and other essential items to keep the people safe; according to the peer review article, Sub-Saharan Africa leads the way in medical drones. (2019). The drone account for more than 20% of all the blood delivers outside the capital, Kigali. More drone distribution centers are being open; the hope is that the whole country would be in the range of this life-saving delivery system.
Spencer, L. (2018). the zipline government is working on federal aviation administration that is set to launch a medical drone delivery service across the entire country. The FAA project is a relief for billion worldwide don’t have access to critical medical supply. The medical drone delivery system is Projected to reduce delivery cost waste and access in remote areas. 2017 was the year that Zipline announced that they would have the most extensive drone delivery service in the world; everyone will have access to blood transfusion supplies, vaccines and medication.

Decision theory refers to the study of an agent or person’s choices. The theory allows researchers to understand the logic behind the decisions consumers make (Rappaport, 2017). Decision theory and its implications for consumer buying behavior is a critical tool for businesses. It can help them make predictive models for which products consumers may prefer and why they choose them. Indecision theory, the concept of sensitivity analysis, is used to predict the outcome of a decision given a certain range of variables.
The two concepts can be used to analyze Zipline’s drones in Rwanda and why they have been widely used to deliver vital medical supplies to the most difficult-to-reach health centers. Zipline, a US-based delivery company, focused on ferrying medical supplies, partnered with the government of Rwanda in 2016 to launch the first commercial drone delivery operation in the world (IML Group PLC, 2021). Since the introduction of the service, the company has flown 18,641 miles, dispatching over 7000 units of blood products, including plasma, platelets, and red blood cells. About 35% of these deliveries are related to emergency life-saving situations.
Several factors influenced Rwanda’s decision to contract Zipline. First, the company runs the first and only commercial drone delivery service globally, making thousands of deliveries annually. The company’s newest generation of autonomous aircraft flies faster, farther, and carries more cargo (Hotz, 2017). Another factor that influenced the country’s decision to use drones is that Rwanda is a hilly country with various hills and extensive mountainous areas. This means that transporting vital medical supplies via a treacherously tangled road network would lead to the loss of valuable hours in the race to save lives (Hotz, 2017). Also, many healthcare facilities in Rwanda do not have the budget or necessary facilities to help them maintain their own refrigerated blood banks. As a result, the country has a high maternal mortality rate mainly due to post-partum hemorrhages.
These are some of the factors that have made drones so popular in Rwanda in delivering medical supplies and life-saving blood to hospitals. The company’s success in Rwanda inspired other countries to embrace the technology. In 2017, Zipline expanded its services to Tanzania, a country 35 times the size of Rwanda. The Tanzanian government and Zipline entered into a contract that has seen the company make thousands of deliveries of basic surgical supplies, antibiotics, antimalarials, lab reagents, HIV medications, emergency vaccines, and blood transfusion supplies to Tanzanian hospitals and healthcare facilities (Boeras et al., 2019). In addition, the company has rapidly expanded its services in the United States and Latin America.
Blood is an essential element of modern health care. Without it, the risk of death during childbirth is high, accidents are more deadly, and major surgeries are impossible. Therefore, Zipline drones have not only revolutionized health care but have also played a key role in saving millions of lives. The technology is also expected to transform global commerce as more businesses are embracing it. Firms such as United Parcel Service (UPS) and Amazon have already carried out experiments on drones for the delivery of goods. Although the technology still faces many challenges due to legal issues and airspace restrictions, it is a promising alternative for the future of the delivery of goods (Boeras et al., 2019). Many businesses are likely to embrace it because it is a faster and cheaper option.

solved Please DO NOT BID if you cannot do EXEMPLARY WORK

Please DO NOT BID if you cannot do EXEMPLARY WORK . Previous tutors were poor and this is an extremely important assignment. If you are not someone with writing an outstanding Film analysis experience do not bid on this assignment. Write short introduction and then four well-developed paragraphs that analyze the four cinematic elements. We have broken down the “language of film” into six basic elements: narration, mise-en-scene, cinematography, editing, acting, and sound. Selected film Bartholomew’s Song (Destin Daniel Cretton and Lowell Frank,2005)write a short introductory paragraph that explains the film’s basic narrative in its first sentence and then for the remainder of the paragraph explains the film’s central theme. For example, if I were writing about The Hill, I would write the following:Deborah Chow’s The Hill is a re-telling of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme with the two children, now adults, arguing over what took place after a party. A central theme of the film is the way that traumatic experience can create multiple interpretations of that event. That’s enough for the first paragraph: two, three sentences, tops. But please note that, as I marked on several of your Visual Analysis essays, a theme of a film is not its moral. A moral is a lesson to be learned from watching it. A theme is a more abstract concept that is represented by the film – what the film is “about” in a general sense, rather than in a narrative, or plot, sense. Themes are often summed up in a short phrase; the above example from The Hill is a bit long, but it describes that theme in good detail. (A short version might simply read: “a central theme of the film is trauma,” but the longer phrase is better focused.)Having provided a succinct introduction, you are now to write four paragraphs – one for each of four different elements from the six above – in which you fully analyze that element and how it expresses the theme you’ve identified. You may write these paragraphs in any order you want, as long as for each paragraph you are analyzing one of four elements. Thus, were I analyzing The Hill, I would write about the contrasting acting performances given by the two central actors depending on whose memories we are watching – that would be one paragraph. Another paragraph would be about the way that the film’s mise-en-scene – especially its composition – serves to frame the characters differently depending on whose version of events is being represented. Another paragraph would consider the complex plotting of the film, which re-casts the nursery rhyme as a date-rape. Another would examine the cinematography and how it expresses these two divergent views. (Alternatively, I might write a paragraph about the film’s editing or its use of sound instead of one of the above paragraphs.) Again: you are only writing about four of the six elements of film as defined by B/M.(textbook)Because this is not an essay, you do not need to write a concluding paragraph; you only need to write that very short introduction and then four well-developed paragraphs that analyze the four cinematic elements. If you like, you can use the element in bold type to start each paragraph. Thus:Acting. The performances by Kristin Dispaltro and Joe Towne, etc. Such a style is better than writing: “In this paragraph I am going to write about the acting.” (NO ANNOUNCEMENTS, PLEASE! Just analyze!)In writing your analysis of each of the four elements, you must be sure to demonstrate that you are able to use the terms covered in B/M(textbook) in an intelligent manner. You don’t have to define any of these terms in your writing. Rather, you must simply use them, correctly and effectively. Some other guidelines:I always defined a fully-developed paragraph as having at least ten sentences, It’s a good rule of thumb here.Note that this means there is not a given you a word-count range. Use your best judgment; be thorough, but do not be unnecessarily wordy. assessment is based on the quality of your analysis. If you are analyzing narration, don’t summarize the story events, and don’t do a plot-breakdown along the lines of what B/M do in Stagecoach. Focus on explaining how the film’s narrational style – its plotting, among other aspects – contributes to the film’s theme. If you write about mise-en-scene, you can decide to focus mainly on either design or composition, but it would be a great analysis if you were able to do a thorough job on both. The language you use for these paragraphs is analytical; I should see no “empty adjectives” like “amazing.” Be very wary of this, especially if you choose to write about the acting. (As that chapter noted, it’s hard to analyze – it’s so easy to get caught up in a good, or even really bad, performance.) As I’ve noted with respect to your formal essays, avoid writing about the viewer experience: that means not writing about how much you liked/dislike the film (that’s the language of opinion, not analysis), and it also means not using language such as, “we see…” This is another comparatively short assignment: do not quote the textbook definitions of the terms. That’s wasting your time.writing style will count – errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. will be a factor in the grade. You may certainly use any insights you gained from listening to the director commentary on the film you select. Simply acknowledge it in the text of your paragraph so that you don’t have to use a citation. Thus,The rear window of Jill’s car is fogged, obscuring the light from outside, which, according to director Chow in her commentary, is to represent the moonlight, and also gives the scene a “spooky” mood. One note of caution, don’t over-use the director commentary; I don’t want to read too much stuff on how the film was made, or what the intentions were. I’m much more interested in the effects, what we see/hear on the screen. Basically, I am allowing you to refer to some insight of meaning that the film may have that you would not have grasped had you not listened to the commentary track – and again, as this information pertains to the theme you are discussing. If you quote anything from Barsam/Monahan, just put the citation in parentheses; there is no need to include a list of works cited. (Also, “B/M” is an acceptable shorthand in your paragraph for the textbook; you don’t have to write out their names, and you don’t have to write the full title of the book, etc.)

solved For this assessment, you will develop a 3-5 page paper

For this assessment, you will develop a 3-5 page paper that examines a safety quality issue pertaining to medication administration in a health care setting. You will analyze the issue and examine potential evidence-based and best-practice solutions from the literature as well as the role of nurses and other stakeholders in addressing the issue.Health care organizations and professionals strive to create safe environments for patients; however, due to the complexity of the health care system, maintaining safety can be a challenge. Since nurses comprise the largest group of health care professionals, a great deal of responsibility falls in the hands of practicing nurses. Quality improvement (QI) measures and safety improvement plans are effective interventions to reduce medical errors and sentinel events such as medication errors, falls, infections, and deaths. A 2000 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report indicated that almost one million people are harmed annually in the United States, (Kohn et al., 2000) and 210,000–440,000 die as a result of medical errors (Allen, 2013).The role of the baccalaureate nurse includes identifying and explaining specific patient risk factors, incorporating evidence-based solutions to improving patient safety and coordinating care. A solid foundation of knowledge and understanding of safety organizations such as Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN), the Institute of Medicine (IOM), and The Joint Commission and its National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs) program is vital to practicing nurses with regard to providing and promoting safe and effective patient care. You are encouraged to complete the Identifying Safety Risks and Solutions activity. This activity offers an opportunity to review a case study and practice identifying safety risks and possible solutions. We have found that learners who complete course activities and review resources are more successful with first submissions. Completing course activities is also a way to demonstrate course engagement.Demonstration of Proficiency
By successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the following course competencies and assessment criteria:
Competency 1: Analyze the elements of a successful quality improvement initiative.

Explain evidence-based and best-practice solutions to improve patient safety focusing on medication administration and reducing costs.

Competency 2: Analyze factors that lead to patient safety risks.

Explain factors leading to a specific patient-safety risk focusing on medication administration.

Competency 4: Explain the nurse’s role in coordinating care to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Explain how nurses can help coordinate care to increase patient safety with medication administration and reduce costs.
Identify stakeholders with whom nurses would need to coordinate to drive quality and safety enhancements with medication administration.

Competency 5: Apply professional, scholarly, evidence-based strategies to communicate in a manner that supports safe and effective patient care.

Organize content so ideas flow logically with smooth transitions; contains few errors in grammar or punctuation, word choice, and spelling.

Apply APA formatting to in-text citations and references exhibiting nearly flawless adherence to APA format.

The purpose of this assessment is to better understand the role of the baccalaureate-prepared nurse in enhancing quality improvement (QI) measures that address a medication administration safety risk. This will be within the specific context of patient safety risks at a health care setting of your choice. You will do this by exploring the professional guidelines and best practices for improving and maintaining patient safety in health care settings from organizations such as QSEN and the IOM. Looking through the lens of these professional best practices to examine the current policies and procedures currently in place at your chosen organization and the impact on safety measures for patients surrounding medication administration, you will consider the role of the nurse in driving quality and safety improvements. You will identify stakeholders in QI improvement and safety measures as well as consider evidence-based strategies to enhance quality of care and promote medication administration safety in the context of your chosen health care setting.Be sure that your plan addresses the following, which corresponds to the grading criteria in the scoring guide. Please study the scoring guide carefully so that you know what is needed for a distinguished score.
Explain factors leading to a specific patient-safety risk focusing on medication administration.

Explain evidence-based and best-practice solutions to improve patient safety focusing on medication administration and reducing costs.

Explain how nurses can help coordinate care to increase patient safety with medication administration and reduce costs.
Identify stakeholders with whom nurses would coordinate to drive safety enhancements with medication administration.
Communicate using writing that is clear, logical, and professional, with correct grammar and spelling, using current APA style.

Application of the Belmont Principles
First, identify your research topic, including the key concepts you hope to investigate, any relationship you will look for between or among them—if anticipating a quantitative study—and who you anticipate as the target population.
Then, briefly identify how you would apply the three Belmont principles (beneficence, justice, and respect for persons) when you conduct your study. To better understsnd the report, read the folllwing from the Internet:

National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research. (1979). The Belmont report. http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/humansubjects/guidance/bel…

Your post will be assessed based on the following:

A thorough and high-quality post will apply one or more of the Belmont principles to all of the following elements of a research design:

How one samples and recruits participants.
How one collects data from those participants.
How one manages, organizes, and conducts analyses of the data.
How one reports the findings.

An acceptable but lower quality post will apply at least one of the Belmont Principles to at least two of the design elements.
A low-quality post will apply a Belmont principle to only one design element.
An unacceptable post will not apply any Belmont principles to any design elements.

THE NEED FOR THE BELMONT REPORT
Throughout its history as a profession, research has provided the foundation for all the theories and clinical practices in our field. However, until the latter part of the 20th century, little guidance was offered to psychologists about their research’s various ethical dimensions and challenges. The first set of ethical standards for psychologists was published only in 1953 by the American Psychological Association, and the section on research ethics (pp. 113–124) provided some general guidance, but little specificity on how to achieve ethical behavior in research.
The section’s six principles were vague and left the interpretation up to the individual researcher. For instance, in Principle 4.11-1, the code states that “the psychologist is responsible within the limits of his [sic] knowledge, experience, and facilities, for planning his research in such a way as to minimize the possibility that his findings will be misleading” (APA, 1953, p. 115). The phrase “within the limits of his knowledge, experience, and facilities” can imply that a researcher needs only operate within his or her own understandings. In Principle 4.12-1, we read, “In the conduct of research the psychologist must adhere to the highest standards, following procedure [sic] judged by him [sic] to be appropriate to the problem on which he is working.” Nowhere are these “higher standards” defined, and indeed, it is the researcher’s judgment whether his procedures are appropriate—regardless, apparently, of how damaging they might be to the participants.
By allowing the psychologist to determine what constitutes misleading findings or appropriate standards for conducting research, researchers whose “knowledge, experience, or facilities” were limited, or whose personal judgment about the appropriateness of their procedures was inadequate or even malfeasant, could end up performing unethical and even damaging research. And indeed, such was the case.
Certainly, everyone could agree that the experiments performed by the Nazi doctors during World War II were evil, but in the absence of an agreed ethical code, it was difficult to argue that the experiments were unethical. This is one of the reasons that the Nuremberg war crimes trials led to a code of ethics, the Nuremberg Code (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1949). But in America, psychologists remained quite free to use their own judgment about the ethicality of their research.
Unfortunately, this led to studies—which we will review in this unit—that harmed their participants. Most of these studies were not intentionally abusive and indeed have led to profound insights into human behavior. However, their publicity led the United States government in 1974 to establish a commission, informally called the Belmont Commission, to review the situations and ultimately to promulgate a set of ethical principles, called the Belmont Report (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1979). Belmont was fleshed out in federal law, 45 CFR 46, governing human participant research. This law defined clearly what is required of ethical researchers and mandated the formation of Institutional Review Boards—often called research review boards—in any organization sponsoring or conducting research.
The Belmont Report provides the basis for all research ethics codes, including the American Psychological Association’s current Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (2002, amended 2010). It enunciates three core principles that apply to all elements of a research project: equity or justice, beneficence, and respect for persons.

solved type a 500 word response to Robert Sacks:First, I would

type a 500 word response to Robert Sacks:First, I would like to say congratulations if you are seeing this discussion post. That means you got through all the papers and PowerPoints. If you are taking the summer off, enjoy it because you deserve it! If you are like me and just rolling with the momentum, then keep grinding! The last criminal justice system to be discussed is Sweden. There are a couple of ideas I had about Sweden before doing any research on it. The first is that I have been told on several occasions that Sweden has one of the lowest crime rates. I recently had a conversation with my significant other about Sweden discussing their low crime rates and strict gun control laws. We discussed if their strict gun control laws contributed to their low crime. I am not here to debate gun control, but I randomly thought if that was a factor. Between 2011 and 2017, the country of Sweden did see an increase in gun-related crime (Khoshnood, 2019). Now let us look at an overview of Sweden and its criminal justice system.Sweden is a country in Europe. Sweden touches the countries of Finland and Norway. Sweden is surrounded by the Gulf of Bothnia and the Baltic Sea. With part of Sweden lying on the Article circle, the country has quite an interesting climate. In Stockholm, the country experiences 5.5 hours of sunlight each day (Enander et al., 2021). The majority of people in Sweden come from Swedish descent (Enander et al., 2021). There is also a large number of immigrants who come from neighboring Nordic countries and live in Sweden (Enander et al., 2021). Since the 1980s, Sweden has seen an increase in Asylum seekers from countries such as Iran, Iraq, and Somalia (Enander et al., 2021). The national language in Sweden is Swedish. The Church of Sweden is the National Church in Sweden (Enander et al., 2021). Over 50% of the people in Sweden are affiliated with the Church (Enander et al., 2021). Well more than half of the people live in cities and towns compared to rural areas (Enander et al., 2021). One thing different about Sweden compared to other countries researched is Sweden has a lack of transnational issues. The one issue Sweden has is the increase of refugees and stateless people entering the country (Sweden Transnational Issues, 2020). Sweden’s government structure is a constitutional monarchy with one legislative house (Enander et al., 2021). The king of Sweden is King Carl XVI Gustaf, and the head of the government is Stefan Lofven (Enander et al., 2021). Sweden’s currency is the Swedish Krona which 8.320 equals one U.S dollar (Enander et al., 2021). Forest products are what Sweden exports the most which include timber, paper, and furniture (Enander et al., 2021). Sweden’s per capita gross national product is one of the highest in the entire world (Enander et al., 2021). Sweden’s constitution is the basics of its laws (Enander et al., 2021). Specifically, the four components that the laws are based on are the Freedom of Press Act, the Parliament Act, the Instrument of Government, and the Act of Succession (Enander et al., 2021). Sweden believes in giving the powers of the country to the people (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). This means that the head of the state and the king only have ceremonial functions (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Similar to the United States, Sweden has prosecutors who represent the state and defense who represent the offenders (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Sweden has several different types of law enforcement agencies. Some of these agencies include marine police, local police, security police, and the national police college (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Sweden also has a national forensic laboratory that is responsible for assisting all the criminal justice agencies in evidence collecting (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Similar to the United States, Sweden’s law enforcement agencies have access to police cars for various duties (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). They also access to different weapon systems such as pistols and shotguns (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). The Police Act is a document in Sweden is what the police use to determine the proper use of force on subjects (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). The prosecution has discretion when deciding if certain cases will go to trial or if they will be settled outside of court (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). For juvenile cases, the prosecution can waiver the case under the discretion of the welfare authorities (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Sweden has three different court levels (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). The three courts in Sweden are the Supreme Court, the District Courts, and the Court of Appeals (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Sweden typically imposes specific sentences rather than giving a sentence of life with no parole (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). There are alternatives to being sentenced to prison in Sweden such as probation, probation, and psychiatric treatment (Wikstrom & Dolmen, n.d.). Throughout each week, we had the opportunity to see how different criminal justice systems are around the world compared to the United States. One thing that is consistent between all the criminal justice agencies is that they have certain rules and regulations that they believe are best for their communities. Some of these criminal justice agencies have biblical principles that make the country successful. God’s word is the ultimate word in all the land. Psalm 46:1 states, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (English Standard Version, 2009, Psalm 46:1). In conclusion, I wish you all nothing but the best in your future endeavors. This program is a marathon to say the least and I hope you all continue to never give up! I was shocked when I saw only two people graduated with their Ph.D. in criminal justice at liberty this year.ReferencesEnander, H., Helmfrid, S., Larson, S. R., Sandvik, G., Norman, L. solved It is required that the student will pick a social

It is required that the student will pick a social issue of interest. By now, you’ve outlined the community population, specified a social problem, and now you are to create the solution. Use your imagination! You are a practicing social worker at a community organization and your supervisor has given you the task to develop a program that attempts to solve the identified social problem. Think outside of the box. The purpose of the paper is to design a program to address a social issue in your chosen community that illustrates the establishment of social capital, tapping the financial assets, and the strengths of the community. For program strategy development, utilize case examples of specific social problems to plan interventions that utilize the skills presented in the class, text, and community engagement activities. Take this as an opportunity to critique an already existent formal program plan by utilizing the skills and knowledge attained in the class. Or develop your program solely yourself with your imagination, research skills, and peer-reviewed evidence to support its future success. Discuss social capital within the identified community and how that may or may not help with program development. Find the connector and list stakeholders, who may or may not benefit from this new program. Be sure to include members of the community to hear their strengths, involvements, and specific needs (cite). Outline your financial approach specifically with actual budget amounts needed to make the program come to life (e.g. out budget lines, list budget specifically, discuss ideas for financing programs through grant writing, fundraising, institutional connections, start-ups, donations, or through civic budget proposals). Be sure to cite all relevant strategies discussed in research articles as support as to why your program proposal will be effective, if applicable (e.g. systems theory, person-in-environment, strengths-based perspective, logic models, etc). Use the listed hyperlinks as guides and frameworks for assistance. This is your professional social work assessment and proposal for program development and implementation.Strategy Intervention Paper Framework:In this assignment, you will demonstrate abilities to assess communities, identify social problems, explore social capital, and design programs that will be implemented by organizations for successful interventions. In order to convey your program development proposal it is recommended that you assess the identified community needs and, if desired, conduct a SWOT (Links to an external site.) analysis for community strengths and project for program success. Be sure to cite all relevant strategies discussed in research articles as support as to why your program proposal will be effective, if applicable (e.g. systems theory, person-in-environment, strengths-based perspective, logic models, etc). The goal of the paper:-provide an overview of the community assessment; cite all relevant strategies discussed (e.g. systems theory, person-in-environment, strengths-based perspective, logic models, etc) -clearly state the social problem you will focus on and the goal-develop a program as the solution with a mission statement; or critique an existing program with suggestions for improvement; or remodel an existing program; cite all relevant strategies discussed in research articles as support as to why your program proposal will be effective (e.g. systems theory, person-in-environment, strengths-based perspective, logic models, etc) -describe the objectives to reach goal Approaches to mobilize (involve) the community members (cite with peer reviewed articles that support)Explore social capital, networks, connections within the community to involve its members; how will you collect information and mobilize the community?Demonstrate ideas for obtaining funds, including if funding is redacted (e.g. grant writing, fundraising, civic engagement budgets, etc)Utilize evidence-based practices and research-based evidence in the design of social service interventions with citations Explore systems theory and identify the potential hazards to avoid in planning programs, including competency traps, groupthink, planning without involving key stakeholders, and others.
