AimThe purpose of assignment 2 is to prepare a dataset with which you can conduct data analyses for the term project. This is related to the term project, but please note that this assignment should be individual work. Also, you need to explore some variables that can be used as a dependent variable and independent variables. More details will be explained below.DatasetFor the project phase 1 report, you already selected a medical condition of your group’s interest, and there should be more than 500 data instances. For the assignment 2, please think about your research question(s). With that being said, you need to explore variables in your dataset. You can change those variables later, but this assignment will help you better understand the dataset. Please visit the official website (Links to an external site.) and Github repository (Links to an external site.) and read the attached appendix document Download attached appendix document(p.1 – 13). MEPS data consists of various variables such as medical condition, socioeconomic factors (e.g., gender, region, race, and family income), and medical expenditure. MEPS data also consist of various files such as person-level (e.g., health status, demographics, and total $$ of care), event-level (e.g., healthcare service use), and condition-level (e.g., medical condition). For the full review of those variables, please look at codebooks (person-level (Links to an external site.)) and condition-level (Links to an external site.)). I also coded those variables (personal-level only) regarding usefulness for analysis (included vs. excluded, Heejun_Inclusion field) and variable type (independent vs. dependent, Heejun_Variable_Type field). You can find my version of the codebook from this link (Links to an external site.). Some dependent variables you can utilize includes but are not limited to:Total health expendituresTotal inpatient expendituresTotal emergency care expendituresSeverity of Illness (attacks/year)Number of School Days Missed (Children)Number of Work Days Missed (Adult)For now, just focus on personal-level (h129.csv) and condition-level (h128.csv) files for exploring variables. At least, find one dependent variable and five core independent variables that can be used for the group project by carefully looking at documents and websites above. The selected independent variables should not be randomly selected. They should be clinically related to your dependent variable. The second step is to preprocess your dataset. Please utilize the “week6_example_code.ipynb” notebook for this process. You need little modification to complete data processing and integration. Select patients (h128.csv) with the your medical condition, drop attributes which are not necessary, and join the condition-level data (h128.csv) and personal-level data (h129.csv).What to Do for the Assignment 2Explore the dataset and find one dependent variable and five core independent variables at leastExplain what these variables are and how they are related to the medical condition of your interestPreprocess your data. However, you need to present, at least, one dependent variable and five core independent variables. Also, please explain what these variables are and how they are related to the medical condition of your interest. Up to this part, you can write the report in a MS word file. You also need to submit your Jupyter notebook you used for data preprocessing and the final data file (csv). What to includeYour submission of the report should include:Your nameEUIDTitle of the projectWhat I asked you in the “How to Write”Please attach a .docx file for the report and .ipynb and .csv files for the data processing. solved peer 1. What was the classification of biological agent used

peer 1. What was the classification of biological agent used in the attack?
Anthrax is one example of bioterrorism. Anthrax is caused by a biological agent called Bacillus anthracis.
Discuss the implications of the biological agent.
People can get infected with anthrax by contacting with infected animals or contaminated animal products or breathing anthrax spores from infected animal products. People can also be infected with gastrointestinal anthrax by eating undercooked meat from infected animals. Anthrax can be used a weapon. According to CDC, “in 2001, powdered anthrax spores were deliberately put into letters that were mailed through the U.S. postal system” (2020). With this, 22 people got anthrax and 5 of them died. The GI anthrax can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, loss of appetite, fever, severe, bloody diarrhea, and swollen neck. The inhalation anthrax can cause flu-like symptoms, coughing up blood, painful swallowing, high fever, trouble breathing, shock, and shortness of breath.
Discuss the therapy for the biological agent.
Anthrax infection is treated with a 60-day treatment with antibiotics (i.e. ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, and levofloxacin), a three-dose series of anthrax vaccine, and monoclonal antibiotics (i.e. raxibacumab and obiltoxaximab).
What are the decontamination procedures for the biological agent used in the attack?
Decontamination techniques of anthrax are using chlorine and chlorine compounds for surface disinfection or ultraviolet light. If B. anthracis is spread in larger areas, electron beams and chemical disinfections (e.g., glutaraldehyde, chloride dioxide gas, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide) are used to inactivate the bacterial spores.
Define the appropriate level of PPE required for this type of biological agent?
Appropriate PPE for anthrax includes respiratory protection (N95), eye and face protection, and gloves. It is important to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
peer 2. The classification of the biological agent that I will be detailing is smallpox, which most notably was spread to North America by European settlers when colonizing the area.
Signs and symptoms of smallpox initially include high fever, head and body aches, and vomiting. This is followed by a development of a rash which manifests as, “small red spots on the tongue and in the mouth… these spots change into sores that break open and spread large amounts of the virus into the mouth and throat,” for which lasts about 4 days and is most contagious (CDC 2016). Eventually, the sores become pustules (sharply raised, usually round and firm to the touch, like peas under the skin) which then crust and scab. Assuming the individual exposed lives through this ordeal, the scabs fall of thus unable to be contagious.
The most important preventative measure since the 1700s includes vaccination; however, if it has not been administered after 7 days of being exposed and developing the rash, the vaccine will not help. Alternatively, the focus of care will include utilization of antiviral medications (Tecovirimat, Cidofovir, Brincidofovir) which are intended to stop further growth of this virus.
Airborne and Contact precautions are imminent to prevent further spread of Smallpox. Additionally, those who have also been exposed including bystanders and healthcare personnel must be vaccinated immediately. Clothing and other textiles must be bagged, isolated, and washed (NIH Staff)
Specific equipment required to address this disease varies between the types of isolation required. Airborne isolation requires a negative-pressure room, HEPA filter, as well as all staff/visitors wear an N95 mask to protect themselves from airborne contaminants. Contact precautions on the other hand involves a preferably private room with an isolation gown, nitrile gloves when in contact with the patient, which is followed by immediate handwashing.

They are both answering the following questions.
Give an example and details from national/international news of a bioterrorist attack.
Address all of the following in your post:

What was the classification of biological agent used in the attack?
Discuss the implications of the biological agent.
Discuss the therapy for the biological agent.
What are the decontamination procedures for the biological agent used in the attack?
Define the appropriate level of PPE required for this type of biological agent?

For peer replies please compare the different biological agents, their implications and therapies. Discuss the different types of decontamination procedures and levels of PPE that would be required.

solved Assessing and Treating Patients With Sleep/Wake DisordersSleep disorders are conditions

Assessing and Treating Patients With Sleep/Wake DisordersSleep disorders are conditions that result in changes in an individual’s pattern of sleep (Mayo Clinic, 2020). Not surprisingly, a sleep disorder can affect an individual’s overall health, safety, and quality of life. Psychiatric nurse practitioners can treat sleep disorders with psychopharmacologic treatments, however, many of these drugs can have negative effects on other aspects of a patient’s health and well-being. Additionally, while psychopharmacologic treatments may be able to address issues with sleep, they can also exert potential challenges with waking patterns. Thus, it is important for the psychiatric nurse practitioner to carefully evaluate the best psychopharmacologic treatments for patients that present with sleep/wake disorders.Reference: Mayo Clinic. solved Weekly Discussion #3What additional subjective information will you be asking

Weekly Discussion #3What additional subjective information will you be asking of the patient? Additional subjective information to ask the patient would be about allergies | immunizations such as flu or pneumococcal vaccine also if receieved Covid Vaccine | has been in contact with anyone that had Covid – pneumonia or TB | recent illnesses or hospitalizations | has he traveled recently to foreign countries | Any weakness – fatigue | SOB | has there been difficulty breathing when doing daily activities or normal talking | What type cough medication has he taken | Has he resumed smoking cigarettes | Has there been any weight loss. What additional objective findings would you be examining the patient for? Additional objective findings to examine for would be O2 saturation & temperature. I would take notice of the respiratory effort given by the patient. Look at the rate and ease of respirations at rest, while speaking if there are breathing problems, any use of accessory muscles, posture, color, pursed lips, circumoral or nail bed cyanosis, and capillary refill during the visit. Inspect the chest and upper back for symmetry. Palpate the posterior chest to confirm equal chest expansion. Percussion of the posterior chest for resonance and symmetry is the next step. Auscultation of posterior breath sounds for symmetry, presence or absence of adventitious sounds (Kennedy-Malone, p. 164, 2019). Additionally we would assess HEENT for any other abnormal findings. What are the differential diagnoses that you are considering?Differential diagnosis that are being considered are Acute Bronchitis J20.9 | COVID-19 Z20.822 | HIV B20 | Lung Cancer C34 | Pneumonia J18.9 | Tuberculosis A15.9 | Upper Respiratory Infection J06.9.What radiological examinations or additional diagnostic studies would you order?Spirometry is the gold standard for measuring airflow limitation | CBC to check for infection and H&H to see if results are abnormal | Xray of chest | Sputum test | PFT | (ABG’s) Arterial Blood Gases (Kennedy-Malone, p. 166, 2019).What treatment and specific information about the prescription will you give this patient? In my opinion; I feel as if I am unable to provide a specific treatment or prescription without further information from the diagnostic tests. The differential diagnostics are too similar. If I had to treat the current complaint, which is a cough and coughing up blood, I’d order antibiotics; “Most pulmonologist recommend the empiric use of antibiotics to treat acute episodes when the patient’s cough increases and the character and amount of sputum change…even in the absence of fever (Dunphy, Winland-Brown, Porter, & Thomas, p. 413, 2019).” Doxycycline 100mg 10 tablets | by mouth | every 12 hours | x5 days | 0 refills. – take the complete course even if feeling better. Drink plenty of water to help clear lungs (Dunphy, Winland-Brown, Porter, & Thomas, p413-414, 2019). Take with food to lessen GI side effects. What are the potential complications from the treatment ordered? Side effects include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, epigastric distress. This drug class can potentiate the effects of warfarin by impairing Vitamin K production (Arcangelo, p. 125, 2017).What additional laboratory tests might you consider ordering? A gram stain is indicated with the sputum taken. Due to the current pandemic; I would consider a test to check for COVID-19 (Molecular (RT-PCR) tests, which detect the virus’ genetic material | Antigen tests that detect specific proteins on the surface of the virus). Also the Mantoux tuberculin skin test to check for TB. This test is the most accurate for TB skin testing and is easily performed and there are no risks to the patient (Dunphy, Winland-Brown, Porter, & Thomas, 2019).Will you be looking for a consult? A pulmonologist referral may be indicated; the cough has been more than a few weeks and has a history of COPD and smoking. “You should see a pulmonologist if the cough persists for more than 3 weeks, or if it becomes severe (Seladi-Schulman, 2020)”.ReferenceArcangelo. 2017. Assignment #2 Field Experience (20 points)The following field experience must take place during the first five weeks of the course, as students must submit their field experience report to their instructor in week five for evaluation. Students must conduct this field experience in a setting other than their own classroom to gain a different experience and perspective, and to compare this setting to a similar setting in their school.Directions: Conduct an informal interview with the parents/guardians of a student with a disability who has been receiving special education services. Select a family and a child that you know well, a family and child who will allow to visit their home and to ask them specific questions. Assure the parents/guardians that no personal or sensitive information will be included in your report and that the purpose of this assignment is for you to find out the extent of the collaboration between the home and the school. Assure them again that the child’s real name will not be included in your report, nor will any information that will identify him/herAfter getting permission to conduct the interview with the parents/guardians of the child with a disability, ask them the following questions. Use follow up questions if you are given short answers to these questions: Part One – Questions About the Child (3 points) 1. What is your child’s disability and how did you find out about it? 2. How much of an impact has your child’s disability had on his/her education?Part Two – Questions about the Parents/Guardians: (3 points)1. How did you deal with this news of your child’s disability? What changes occurred in your own lives because of your child’s disability?2. How much have you been involved in your child’s education3. Are you satisfied with the cooperation that you have received from the personnel of your child’s school? Are you satisfied with the level of collaboration between you and the school personnel? How would you improve on this cooperation and collaboration?Part Three – Questions about the School (5 points)1. How many contacts have you had with the personnel in your child’s school? When were you initially contacted? How did the school communicate with you? (via e-mail, phone, regular mail, notes given to your child?). If the parents/guardians are not native English speakers, was the communication done in the family’s native language?2. Were you asked for your permission to test your child? Did you sign a consent form before your child was tested3. Was this process explained to you? Did you know what was going to be involved and how long it was going to take?4. How many times did you meet or communicate with school personnel before, during, and after the testing? Who did you meet with and for how long? What was the purpose of each meeting?5. What advice do you have for parents/guardians of children with disabilities who want to improve the collaboration between them and their child’s school? PartPart Four- Questions about the IEP Process (5 points)1. Were you contacted prior to the IEP meeting? Did you have any input on the date of the meeting? Were you given a document or report about your child before the IEP meeting? Reply to least two (2) classmate posts.TOPIC 1: Pricing Strategies (Required)The readings suggest there are certain strategies for pricing new products, which is decidedly more difficult than adjusting prices to existing products. The new product pricing approaches are: Skimming Penetration Everyday low pricesThe pricing approaches discussed for existing products are: Cost plus Markup Markdown Odd-even pricing Prestige pricing Price lining Demand backward pricing Leader pricing Sealed bid pricing Going-rate pricing Price bundling Captive pricing Product mix pricing Two-part pricing Promotional pricingThere is no shortage of pricing approaches, and as customers, we are exposed to all of them at some time or another in our purchasing processes.Choose one of the pricing approaches and discuss the product, the pricing approach, and why you think it is the most appropriate approach for that particular product given your consumer characteristics. Be sure you understand the definition of your approach before tackling this topic. Many of you will be tempted to use promotional pricing since it is the easiest to demonstrate. So promotional pricing is not “for sale” (pun intended). Pick one of the other approaches for this topic. . Remember, there are no rights or wrongs in this topic. Each of us as consumers can view pricing differently.TOPIC 2: Channel SystemsThe Coca-Cola company has a very large and complex channel distribution system. Take a look at how the company describes its distribution system by clicking on this link.Coca-Cola system. (n.d.). The Coca-Cola Company. http://www.coca-colacompany.com/our-company/the-coca-cola-systemCan you outline the indirect channel system based on the information on the website? You might want to refer to Figure 8.4 or Figure 8.5 in the readings to organize your thoughts. What value does each of the channel members provide to the end customer? What might you suggest they do differently?TOPIC 3: Channel StrategiesThis section of the readings explains the three generic distribution strategies: Intensive Selective ExclusiveThe choice of which of these distribution strategies would be best for any given product depends on those factors outlined in the readings as follows: Type of customer Type of product Channel partner capabilities Business environment and technology Competing products’ marketing channelsPick a product for one of the three distribution strategies. Note your product and the distribution strategy, and then discuss why you feel the distribution strategy is most appropriate for that product based on the factors listed above. For example, Lexus automobiles are distributed selectively. Customers tend to be upper middle class who want an affordable (as they define it) luxury car that is highly dependable. Because of the service component, dealerships need to be all-inclusive for services needed for a Lexus and be as close to their target market as possible, e.g., upscale neighborhoods. But because Lexus is a car dealership, it can’t be directly located in an upscale neighborhood. The car dealer needs to be able to serve a geographic area that is easy to reach and where customers are willing to drive, and the best choice may be locations visible from highways driven by upscale members of the target market as they drive between home, work, and errands. A Lexus dealership wants to be located near competitive offerings to ensure the target market considers Lexus. It also makes it easy to shop the competition and to increase the value of the brand by being associated with like products. Do not use Lexus!Do the same type of description for each of the three distribution strategies with a product of your choice. TOPIC 4: Warehouse & TransportationOne way that manufacturers can reduce the price of a product is by decreasing the warehousing and transportation costs using the demand and inventory planning techniques discussed in Section 6.6 of the main text. This adds value to the customer.Warehousing and transportation tends to be outsourced by most manufacturers so they don’t have to develop those core competencies. Sometimes the warehousing or transportation channel member becomes the channel leader. Can you think of an example of a product for which the warehouse or the method of transportation is the channel leader? You might need to do a little web searching to find examples. Think creatively for both online delivery and physical delivery.
