PURPOSE: The purpose of this speech is to make a claim of value based on your ideas as to whether a topic is good or bad, right or wrong, moral or immoral, etc. A persuasive speech can only occur in a situation in which two or more points of view exist. Therefore, you must take a stance on the value of a particular issue or idea.TOPIC: For a value speech, most topics are generally issued based. However, you could choose to advocate the value of an object or product (Zaxby’s has the best chicken fingers, Ford make the best car, etc.). For issue-based speeches, there are several topics that are off limits for this speech as they have been overused and really do not have “new” arguments that can be developed. These topics include:Legalizing Marijuana, Seatbelts Organ/Blood Donation, Abortion, Gun Control, Euthanasia, Death Penalty, Lowering the Drinking Age, Same Sex Marriage, Why to Exercise, Why not to Smoke, Drink, Engage in Unsafe Sexual Practices. Be unique. When choosing your topic, try to pick a subject that foremost interests you. Then, based on the information you read from your textbook about audience adaptation, try to make that subject interesting to your classmates. The ultimate power of making your speech engaging and interesting lies in your hands. Remember, the more you care about your topic, the more likely the audience is going to be interested in it, even if they weren’t before your speech. Keep in mind for this speech that if your topic does not directly affect your audience in some way, they won’t care enough to be persuaded.DELIVERY: You should be delivering your speeches extemporaneously from a keyword outline (3 notecards) which can only contain key words and phrases; no full sentences. You may only have writing on the front side of each notecard.ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS: 1. The speech should be 5-7 minutes in length. (minus 3 points for every 15 seconds over/under the time limit).2. The topic is appropriate for the assigned general purpose.3. A minimum of five sources should be used to provide adequate supporting material -These sources must be cited in the delivery of the speech as well as on your bibliography. You should also cite any additional sources you use over and above the five required sources. All sources should be cited within the body of the speech itself, and each main point must contain a source. Sources cited within the introduction and/or conclusion of the speech will not count towards the citation requirement.-Encyclopedias, dictionaries, Wikipedia and other general reference materials may not be used. -Only two sources may come from the Internet. -At least one of the sources must carry a publication date within the last 12 months.4. One copy of your full-sentence outline and bibliography (as one Word doc) must be submitted through Canvas by the due date identified in the assignment. If you fail to submit the electronic copy of the outline to Canvas by the deadline, you will not be allowed to record a speech and will receive no credit for the assignment. There are no exceptions to this rule.5. A copy of the bibliography/reference should be attached to your outline. We use APA style for source citation. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WORD LIMIT REQUIREMENTS: Please note that each and every assignment has its own word limit. A literature review is a systematic process that includes choosing and searching databases, deciding on a search strategy, reviewing articles, and synthesizing results. Based on your problem statement, statement of need, research question, or evaluation question. What is your search strategy? What online databases, search terms, descriptors, or key words will be used to guide the literature search? How will you use Boolean operators? PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS IN PARAGRAPHS AND MAKE IT COHESIVE AND TRY TO INCORPORATE THE READINGS BELOW PLEASE add the links/sites below to the reference list if you use any of these readings and make sure everything is in proper APA format. https://apastyle.apa.org/learn/quick-guide-on-refe… Evidence-Based Public Health Practice. Remember that presenting someone else’s work as your own is plagiarism. Be sure to support your postings and responses with specific references to the Learning Resources. It is important that you cover all the topics identified in the assignment. Covering the topic does not mean mentioning the topic BUT presenting an explanation from the context of ethics and the readings for this class I am a stickler for good organization in everything. I do not want to have to dig for your answers. For instance, if an assignment asks you to provide three examples of something, I suggest that you number them 1-3 so I can find them easily. I also expect that when you submit something as a narrative, you pay attention to how you organize your thoughts: use paragraphs with a topic sentence and supporting sentences; and change paragraphs whenever you introduce a new idea. Also, if there are multiple parts to an assignment, use sub-heads within the paper to organize them. To get maximum points you need to follow the requirements listed for this assignments 1) look at the word/page limits 2) review and follow APA rules 3) create subheadings to identify the key sections you are presenting and 4) Free from typographical and sentence construction errors. creating an early childhood environment based on the information from
your text, module content, and online research of early childhood
classrooms. For this assignment, you will be making a floor plan,
designing and labeling the classroom with learning centers, developing a
furniture/equipment purchase request, and discussing the color scheme.
You will turn in a floor plan of your classroom, the purchase request form, and a description of your color scheme. This 3-4 page assignment is worth 50 points.Let’s get started! You have just been hired as part of a
teaching team to staff the new classroom being added to the Child
Development Center. The equipment budget doesn’t allow much flexibility
for purchasing all new furniture and equipment so you will have to make
do with the existing furniture. Here is a list of the existing
furniture:18- Child-sized chairs2- Rectangular tables4 -Round tables5 -Open Shelves1 -9’round rug1 -9’ x 12’ rectangular rugThe director has told you that you can
have $3,000 to make additional purchases. Use the money on
furnishings/equipment for the environment. (Do not use it for more tables, chairs, teachers desk, cots, or materials such as dolls, paint, or manipulatives)STEP 1: Make a floor plan and design your classroom Arrange the furniture in appropriate

I need help with a Business question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2019, a new strain of the coronavirus disease was discovered. Also known as COVID-19, this strain of the virus had previously not been identified in humans. A worldwide pandemic ensued as the virus quickly spread across the globe, impacting countless lives, including many individuals in the United States.
In an effort to contain the virus, numerous countries’ leaders encouraged social distancing, which is an infection control strategy aimed to help lessen the spread of a contagious disease. This directive was given by leaders in the United States as well. Two schools of thought emerged. In fact, many people were skeptical about the authenticity of this pandemic due to perplexing and often conflicting messages that were received across social media and news outlets. Therefore, numerous Americans assumed business as usual and maintained their daily living and social rituals. On the other hand, scores of others quickly retreated to their homes, embracing the warning provided by some of the nation’s top infectious disease experts.
This assignment provides you with an opportunity to analyze a real-world, peer-reviewed, psychology journal article that contains research examining the social psychology aspects of motivation and emotion. You will then demonstrate your understanding of the article by relating the research and conclusions contained therein to current events.
Begin by visiting the CSU Online Library to locate and choose a journal article in which motivation and emotion are viewed under the lens of social psychology. The article must be peer-reviewed and should be no older than 7 years
NOTE: You are not required to locate an article about COVID-19; instead, you must find a peer-reviewed journal article concerning research that specifically examines motivation and emotion. You will then be critiquing the article and framing the research and conclusions presented in the article in the context of how they can be applied to behavior and social psychology during such an event as the COVID-19 pandemic.
A good place to start your search is the PsycARTICLES database or the Academic Search Ultimate database. You can access these databases from the Databases box on the library homepage.
For assistance in locating your article, you may find the following tutorial How to Find Journal Articles helpful. Additionally, you may find this tutorial How to Search in PsycARTICLES useful.
Once you have chosen your article about motivation, emotion, and social psychology, you will write an article critique that addresses the following elements.

Explain the research methodology that was used in the study.
Discuss social factors that influence people or groups to conform to the actions of others.
Indicate how behaviors and motivation are impacted by the presence of others. (How does this apply to COVID-19?)
Indicate the structures of the brain that are involved in emotion and motivation. (How could a person’s emotions related to fear drive their behaviors during this pandemic?)
Examine the article’s generalizability to various areas of psychology.
Why would some people choose to follow the orders to avoid social contact and others allow desire for human interaction to be their driving force?

Introduction:
In Chapter 13 and 14, you read and learned about Nutrients that Provide Energy and Nutrients that Provide Growth and Regulate Body Function. Below are a few questions that you will discuss as a group.  Answer the questions in your own post, then reply to two peers whose answers differ from yours.  Provide feedback to their answers (did you agree or not agree, and explain why – offer ideas, suggestions, etc.).  All 3 questions must be answered and discussed in length to receive full credit.

The Prompt:
1. Discuss the cause of lactose intolerance, which group of children are more likely to experience this condition, and what dietary modifications need to be made.
2. Identify six non-meat protein sources.
3. How could you provide calcium to a child who is allergic to milk and dairy products?

reply to
1. Discuss the cause of lactose intolerance, which group of children are more likely to experience this condition, and what dietary modifications need to be made.
-Lactose intolerance is due to someone not making lactose, which leads to not being able to break lactose down or have lactose absorbed. Native, Asian, Mexican, and African Americans as well as Jewish children are more likely to experience lactose intolerance. Some modifications can be made for children that are lactose intolerant, some being to only eat dairy twice a day and spaced out if you do or do not eat any product that contains dairy if you are still having a bad reaction. You could replace dairy products with appropriate substitutes that do not contain dairy. Now, a lot of different restaurants and grocery stores have many options for people with lactose intolerance. Often times, the products are more costly but it is worth it so you do not get sick or have stomach issues.
2. Identify six non-meat protein sources.
-Many different types of beans and nuts, tofu, peanut butter, cheese, milk, and eggs are all non-meat protein packed foods. There are so many more different protein sources that do not contain meat.
3. How could you provide calcium to a child who is allergic to milk and dairy products?
-You could provide calcium supplements or vitamins that contain calcium to a child that is allergic to milk or dairy products or just not getting enough calcium in general. You could also make sure you feed the child things like broccoli, collards, kale, cabbage, oranges and orange juice, almonds and peanuts, breads and pasta’s, cereal, and soy milk.

solved 1. What are the two conflicting motives to action? Why

1. What are the two conflicting motives to action? Why are they in conflict? How are they reconciled in friendship? (pp. 210-11)2. Explain each of the three types of friendship recognized by Kant. (pp. 212-15) 3. How are Kant’s three types of friendship like and unlike the three types discussed by Aristotle? 4. What is the adaptation of two people to one another that constitutes the bond of friendship? What are the elements which make up the character of a perfect friend? (p. 216) Is Kant right about these elements? Does it seem that he’s left out anything important? 5. What are the remarks that Kant thinks a friendship of disposition calls for? (pp. 216-17) Is he correct on all these points in your view? Why?Notes on the Kant ReadingIf you meet Kant’s writing in another class – say, an ethics class, where one sometimes reads his Grounding of the Metaphysics of Morals – you may look back on this reading on friendship and wonder why his published writing is so hard to read. By comparison, this little lecture is a model of clarity. Kant begins by characterizing friendship as a means of reconciling two conflicting motives: self-love and love of humanity. The two are in conflict, because, if we act out of self-love, our action has no moral merit, but, if we act out of love of humanity, we might sacrifice our own happiness. These motives are reconciled in friendship, because each of us loves the other as himself, so our love has moral merit; and because the other loves us, our happiness is brought about as well. Kant discusses three types of friendship:1. the friendship of needthe original form of friendship among people does not exist at the stage of luxury presupposed in every friendship as a source of confidence that the friend is competent to care for our affairs compare/contrast this with Aristotle’s friendship of utility 2. the friendship of tasteconsists in the pleasure we derive from each other’s company (not from each other’s happiness) most likely formed by people of different occupations, where their differences can entertain or satisfy one another compare/contrast with Aristotle’s friendship of pleasure3. the friendship of disposition or sentimentfriendship in “the absolute sense” a relationship where we can completely disclose all of our dispositions and judgements; a relationship where we don’t need to hide anything can exist only between two or three friends no question of any service or demand compare/contrast with Aristotle’s complete friendshipKant thinks that the bond of friendship is built on differences in the way two people think rather than in the two thinking alike. However, their intellectual and moral principles must be the same. He thinks the following characteristics are elements of the perfect friend:upright disposition sincerity trustworthiness lack of falsehood lack of spite a sweet, cheerful and happy temperEven when one has a friendship of disposition or sentiment, Kant counsels us to be careful in case the friend turns into an enemy. First, we mustn’t hate the old friend or speak ill of them. This is a matter of prudence: we might give people hearing us a reason to avoid our friendship. Second, while we’re friends, we should be careful not to trust the friend completely or to tell all of our secrets, in case they fail to keep our secrets or one day seek to injure us.
