Please respond to this student:
Hello Professor and Class,
This week I’ll be talking about AT&T and their announcement to invest their business media with Discovery calling their new company Warner Bros Discovery.  AT&T has said the deal will be 43 billion dollars with Warner Media with Discovery. Discovery shareholders will continue to own 29% of the company once they have bought them out. With the features and experience that AT&T has, this is going to be a very good business deal for both companies. AT&T is known for its streaming abilities, Internet 1000 high speed, and Wi-Fi service you can take advantage of anywhere. You have the option with them to watch HBO Max along with 7,000+ apps, sports, music, news, and so much more. You can watch this from your, phone, computer, TV, or Tablet at the push of a button at your convenience. AT&T Direct TV stream would benefit by adding Discovery to the many channels that they already have. With the brilliant experience at AT&T, I do feel this acquisition will result in increased strategic competitiveness for the acquiring firm. Making them together rise above Media giants Netflix and Disney.
Factors to keep in mind in a contract deal like this is ensuring that all stakeholders can trust the decisions made to be the right ones for the business. If this becomes a problem you will have lots of investors leave this company causing success will decrease. Competing companies will have a chance to rise above your business because of a lack of creative decision-making.  Losing the trust of stakeholders is not good at all. They all have invested, whether it be the customers, associates, or suppliers. To ensure this does not happen, I think that every decision made should be carefully thought out. Having good associates in place to make the best decisions for the company would be a great suggestion. If ever they see a threat arise externally or internally. They should act and think of strategic planning that is unlike any other competitor to stay ahead of the game!
This was the initial question the student responded to:Please respond to the following:Using the Internet, research acquisitions that are currently underway and choose one of these acquisitions to discuss. Based on the firms’ characteristics and experiences and the reasons cited to support the acquisition, do you feel it will result in increased strategic competitiveness for the acquiring firm? Why or why not?Of the problems that affect the success of an acquisition, which one do you believe is the most critical in the global economy? Why? What should firms do to make certain that they do not experience such a problem when they use an acquisition strategy? Can you reply to their response?

Identify a real-world company (business or otherwise)
Pangaia

write down its official mission and vision statements (i.e., those on the official websites)

Mission & Vision
PANGAIA is a direct-to-consumer materials science company bringing breakthrough textile innovations and patents into the world through everyday lifestyle products. Every technology we work with aims to solve an environmental problem of the fashion/apparel & nature industry.
We hope to drive these solutions further by making technologies and materials available to companies across different industries. By introducing these innovations, we design materials, products and experiences for everyday and everyone.

evaluate the effectiveness (of the mission and vision statements) based on what you learned in class about mission and vision statements

I think their mission statement is very clear in what they want to achieve. They want to incorporate science to better our environment while providing everyday lifestyle products. It is clear they want to give customers cutting edge technology materials that they have patented and are able to help the environment at the same time thus making their mission statement product orientated. This is because they are focusing on making the best and environmentally friendly products consumers can wear.
Their vision is very clear as well on how they want to affect other industries on how they operate as a business. It clearly shows what type of culture is within this company and what sort of values they uphold. While I think parts of both statements are quite repeated I still like them since that the mission is more the short run towards customers and how the vision is how these new breakthroughs in sciences can help the whole world.
(c) describe its business model (using the business-model triangle we discussed in class)
What How Why Who
Pangaia business model is pretty clear, they want to be able to provide everyday lifestyle products to consumers that are backed by science to help the environment at the same time. Their value is these patents and breakthroughs using new technologies that benefits both consumer and environment. They target anyone who wants to wear simple everyday lifestyle gear so it is to the mass market. They have a very large community helping a large range of environmental issues as well as having philanthropy. They use great marketing to allow customers to be aware of their products but more importantly what types of breakthroughs they have made with science to be able to further develop their products. This allows them to sell their products at a medium price range and able to justify for it. They are able to use their R&D and sell their products to many consumers.

Introduction
An introduction provides some background information so that readers understand the issue. It explains why the issue is important. It also describes what is known about the issue. Additionally, the introduction states what is needed to find out or what action needs to be taken and why. Finally, it presents how the writer plan to do the project.

What is a PICOT Question?
A PICOT Question is a question that is formatted in an accepted format, and used to develop answerable, researchable questions, especially in nursing. PICOT question mainly answers four main areas including population, intervention, control, outcome, and time.

Formulating a PICOT Question
To formulate a PICOT question, there are three critical elements that should be addressed. The three elements include population, the proposed intervention, the control to compare with the intervention, the expected outcome, and the time within which the intervention will be considered.

For example:
In women of age 60 and above at risk of developing osteoporosis, is educations and medication for one year effective in reducing the complication of osteoporosis compared to none?

In the example given above, the question breaks down as follows:

Population – Women of age 60 and above
Intervention – Education and medication
Control – None, which means there is no intervention
Outcome – Reducing the complications of osteoporosis
Time – One year

solved The purpose of this assignment is to create an educational

The purpose of this assignment is to create an educational program that supports the implementation of risk management strategies in a health care organization. In this assignment, you will develop an outline for an “in‐service”‐style educational risk management program for employees of a particular health care organization that will then form the basis for a PowerPoint presentation in Topic 5. Select your topic for this educational session from one of the proposed recommendations or changes you suggested in the Risk Management Program Analysis – Part One assignment to enhance, improve, or secure compliance standards in your chosen risk management plan example.Create a 500‐750-word comprehensive outline that communicates the following about your chosen topic:Introduction: Identify the risk management topic you have chosen to address and why it is important within your health care sector.Rationale: Illustrate how this risk management strategy is lacking within your selected organization’s current risk management plan and explain how its implementation will better meet local, state, and federal compliance standards.Support: Provide data that indicate the need for this proposed risk management initiative and demonstrate how it falls under the organization’s legal responsibility to provide a safe health care facility and work environment.Implementation: Describe the steps to implement the proposed strategy in your selected health care organization.Challenges: Predict obstacles the health care organization may face in executing this risk management strategy and propose solutions to navigate or preempt these potentially difficult outcomes.Evaluation: Outline your plan to evaluate the success of the proposed risk management program and how well it meets the organization’s short-term, long-term, and end goals.Opportunities: Recommend additional risk management improvements in adjacent areas of influence that the organization could or should address moving forward. You are required to incorporate all instructor feedback from this assignment into Educational Program on Risk Management Part Two ‐ Slide Presentation assignment in Topic 5. To save time later in the course, consider addressing any feedback soon after this assignment has been graded and returned to you. It may be helpful to preview the requirements for the Topic 5 assignment to ensure that your outline addresses all required elements for submission of the final presentation. You are required to support your statements with a minimum of six citations from appropriate credible sources.Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

solved Paper II: In the Project Evaluation section, please discuss how

Paper II: In the Project Evaluation section, please discuss how you evaluated your project. Did you use pre and posttests, a survey, a behavioral observation form, etc.? Refer to these instruments in the description citing and referencing the appropriate source(s) from the literature. Include the instruments in an appendix using APA format.
You may also include Research Design and Research Methods sections to describe exactly how you implemented your project. Discuss your participants (Sample), the number and types of people who participated in your project and how they participated.
Include a Project Problems section that describes what happened if your project was not implemented as planned and why and the adjustments that you made using third person passive tense. Over all points of your actual intervention as your outlined in the plan.
Discuss your Termination Plan and Activities for your participants. What happens to them once they complete the intervention? How are you accountable to them if they experienced any problems association with the intervention? How will the project continue after you leave your placement? What will happen to the participants and to meet the need/address the problem if the project cannot continue after you leave the agency?
Now, explain your Findings. Discuss your evaluation. Tell what a difference your project made in the participants based on what your evaluation instruments indicated. You do not have to run statistics to do this. You may include graphs, tables, and charts to document your results. Examine and discuss your pre and posttests, surveys, or behavioral observations to quantitatively or qualitatively determine if your project made a difference in the participants. List any outcomes that you discovered from doing the project. How did the project help the participants and the agency? How did it help you? Remember to use third person passive tense.
All papers need a Conclusion section that ties everything together and answers the question, “So what?” You did a Capstone project, so what does that mean for you, your participants, and your agency or the community? Use third person passive tense to describe these. Is more research needed to answer questions raised by your project? Are more interventions needed to address the problem? Can your project be replicated by others who want to meet similar needs and address similar problems? List the strengths and weaknesses of your project. State what you would do differently if you had to do this again. Was it worth all the effort? Why or why not? What are the implications for social work practice? Was this project a valuable contribution to the social work knowledge base or to social work practice?

solved In order to prepare you for your presentation, you are

In order to prepare you for your presentation, you are required to submit a Formal and a Speaking outline. They can be submitted as one document, but I have provided them as separate examples.I will be attaching the outline Each student will present for 4 – 6 minutes. The oral presentation will be on a specific topic of science as it relates to the concepts we are covering in the course (Psuedoscience, Science and the Environment, Politics, Business, etc). Find a news story or source of a myth that falsely depicts that scientific topic that you are interested and explain the misconception that that news story is reporting, and a scientific article that supports it. Images, graphs, and videos (not exceeding a minute in length) should be incorporated to supplement and help explain content. Slides should not contain only text. Students will be required to present PowerPoint slides during class, and slides will be submitted to the instructor using Canvas. In the presentation, the student uses speaking skills to communicate his/her message including proper verbal and nonverbal techniques, and all elements of introductions, main points, and conclusions. The presentation will be graded with the Dialogues of Learning Oral Communication Rubric. You must properly apply and integrate credible support for your ideas by citing your work during your talk and creating an APA-style reference slide page.In addition to the criteria above, you will be graded on the quality of your slides. Your slides should follow the 6 x 6 rule: limit your text to six words per line, six lines per slide. What’s more, your slides should be professional in design. Avoid distracting or unreadable fonts or color combinations. Also, refrain from using excessive slide animations, which can be annoying and appear unprofessional. Your slides should also be written with proper grammar, punctuation, and style. The presentation will be graded with the Dialogues of Learning Oral Communication Rubric. Be aware that all submissions to Canvas will be run through Turnitin to check for originality. Do not simply copy and paste text from your original article! Slides will be submitted to the instructor via Canvas by 11:59 pm the night before your presentation. Presentation dates will be at random. You are also required to submit a speaking outline with your presentation slides. If the date of presentation is missed, there is no guarantee your date will be rescheduled. This assignment is worth 15% of your grade. You are also asked to record your in-class presentation. These videos will be submitted to Canvas after your presentation is completed. I will upload a link about uploading videos in a separate link. Please write speaker note too

Textbook:Strategic Management: Concepts and Cases: Competitiveness and Globalization , 13th EditionMichael A. Hitt; R. Duane Ireland; Robert E. HoskissonMINI CASE 4 CHAPTER 12Can You Follow an Icon and Succeed? Apple and Tim Cook After Steve JobsTim Cook, Apple’s current CEO, had some iconic shoes to try to fill, Steve Jobs’ shoes. Apple’s success has been the fruit of Jobs’ “genius” and leadership. Jobs was responsible for the iPod, iTunes, iPhone, and other products that are still driving the record-breaking revenue. Because of this, it is hard to know how effective Tim Cook actually is. Cook has an extremely different leadership style from Jobs. Where Jobs was very impulsive and a bit selfish with the spotlight, Cook is known for his measured, emotional approach to leadership. He empowers his team to manage their functional areas, is good at delegating to others, and is willing to share the spotlight. He is also willing to grow the company through acquisitions and partnerships, something Jobs never did.In the years since Cook assumed leadership of Apple, the company has failed to deliver several new products by the announced release dates. However, the company is still the most highly valued corporation in the United States. Brainstorm potential issues Tim Cook may have had when he took over for Steve Jobs. What are some obstacles Cook would have had to overcome? How could Apple have become weaker or lose what makes it so great? Then think about the advantages Cook may bring with this new leadership style. Debate with students whether demanding Jobs or collaborative Cook may be better as Apple’s leader.Case Discussion Questions( Your minimum writing content for all four questions must be at least 250 words) APA Style References needed 1. What makes a CEO’s job so complex? Use the challenge Tim Cook faces as Steve Jobs’ successor to provide examples that support your answer.2. Tim Cook came from Apple’s internal managerial labor market to succeed Steve Jobs. In your view, was using the internal managerial labor market the best approach to follow when replacing Jobs? Use materials in the chapter regarding the internal and external managerial labor markets to explain your answer.3. Given their different leadership styles, describe the differences you see in Apple’s culture under Tim Cook’s leadership compared to the culture in Apple when Steve Jobs was CEO.4. Using information in this Mini-Case as well as additional materials available to you via searches, how do you evaluate Tim Cook as a CEO? Is he an effective strategic leader or not? Use examples from the chapter’s discussion of “Key Strategic Leadership Actions” to justify your answer to this question.

here are the instructions to follow for the assignment. Most of us love to decorate our personal space, like, home, office, dorm room, apartment, etc. We decorate our space with various kinds of objects known as “art.” The goal of this exercise is for you to reflect on whether you decorate the place you live and/or work with “art,” what kind it is, and why you chose it. So what is art, according to anthropologists? Schultz and Lavenda define art as “a play with form producing some aesthetically successful transformation-representation. Transformation-representation means the process of transforming experience as it is represented symbolically in a different medium.” Thus, art is both the process and the product of applying specific skills to any activity that transforms matter, sound, or motion into an aesthetically meaningful form to people in a society. Art is of two types: (1) Art by intention: includes objects made to be art, such as paintings; (2) Art by appropriation: consists of all the objects that “become art” because at a particular moment people decide that they belonged to the category of art, for example, displaying a ceramic plate in the living room.Assignment steps:Make a list of the “decorative” objects in your room, apartment, or workspace. Photographs: Attach the pictures of your art pieces (3-4) at the end of the paper. The next step is to answer the following questions/statements in DETAIL. The prompts for the narrative essay/paper are below. These are parts of the same paper. Please do not submit multiple papers. Describe each of the decorative pieces you have listed: their form (painting, vase, etc.); where do they come from; was the purchasing random or intentional; or did you inherit them; and why you chose to display them. Then, give reasons for your answers (250 words). Do the decorative objects you have listed fit the definition of “art” (by Schultz and Lavenda)? Why or why not? Are these art pieces “art by intention” or “art by appropriation”? Give reasons for your answers (250 words). What “message” do all these decorative objects communicate to you and your family? What “message” all these decorative objects communicate to others about you? For instance, do these objects connect you to your family members or friends? A particular racial, religious, ethnic, or class identity? Give reasons for your answer (250 words). Discuss the various functions of ‘art’ in our society and culture. Discuss how art is changing in the age of globalization. (150 words)Write your reflection on the assignment. (100 words)Last but not least: please follow the instructions, think out of the box, think critically, and enjoy the assignment!

You wrote about psychological theories and how they relate to the characters in the film, supporting your investigation with concepts discussed in the textbook, module, and DSM-5. You completed the following steps:Select one or two significant characters in one of these films, and determine which mental disorder(s) they suffer from. Next, explore this character’s mental state.Ask yourself if there is more than one diagnosis that may apply to these characters. If you feel these characters could be multiply diagnosed, please list the different diagnoses and which symptom sets overlap.Explore how their relationships and environment shape their mental states and possibility for symptom management.Be sure to present all of the many treatment options you think may help manage their symptoms.State the possible short-term and long-term prognosis for this character, and what personal, interpersonal, and sociocultural variables might influence their future mental health status.Synthesize this information into a cohesive essay. You are required to integrate at least eight class-sourced references and three sources from your outside research on the case study/diagnoses (a total of 11 references). Please cite all your sources with in-text citations and either endnotes or footnotes, using MLA or APA format.Your Case-Study Research Paper should have three parts:Introduction with thesis and narrative outline of your main pointsA body with well-constructed paragraphs linking one to the nextA conclusion in which you provide a brief summary and make your final pointsTo complete the final draft of your Case-Study Research Paper. This essay will demonstrate your understanding of psychological theories, concepts, and vocabulary and apply these ideas to a fictional case study presented in a popular film. Use critical thinking skills.Comment:Wonderful work here deconstructing Park Ki-Jung’s symptoms, treatments, and prognosis in “Parasite.” You do a fabulous job summarizing her relationships, family life, and the history of illness. This is a great way to introduce your reader to her case study and biography. Please be sue to specify that “Parasite” is a film in your first paragraph, and be sure to spell out “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual” the first time you mention the “DSM (a required source).” Great use of separate paragraphs to organize the different aspects of your case study analysis–it makes your writing and analysis very easy to follow. Thank you too for citing your sources in a Works Cited section; please also post them in-text and make sure your paper is written completely in your own words and when directly quoting a source (which should be no more than 10% of your paper), use quotation marks.
