Step 3. Do research about the topic that the news article addresses. Find related articles (from various sources including newspapers, magazines, websites, or books) that provide background information and different viewpoints. Identify key dilemmas or issues, gather related information and data, discuss relevant theories underlying the events, and carefully consider any alternative arguments.Â
Explain what short sellers and hedge funds (except for activist hedge funds are in your presentation). Also, you will need to focus on ethical and normative side of the story, rather than on finance, investment, and stock market. If you have any questions or want to discuss further, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Step 4. Based on your research and discussion in Step 3, develop contents for the presentation. Before you start creating presentation slides, think about the overall structure of the presentation, your position , and questions you want to ask the audience. When making the slides, focus on the contents rather than the appearance (e.g., photos, videos, or animation).Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides are acceptable. At a minimum, the presentation should include the following components:
1) A brief overview of the topic
2) Additional information relevant to the topic
3) Analysis of the issues using theories and concepts from this course
4) Three to five questions for the audience [may not necessarily be placed at the end of the presentation]
Step 5.Each presentation must include at least three to five questions for the audience (see Item 4 in Step 4 above). The presenters will facilitate the questions and answers. You may also allow the audience to ask questions during the presentation.Presentation grades will be based on the following rubrics: 6

What do you believe is the best way forward for the Central African Pygmies in 2021? As we learned in this module, the plight of the Pygmies fits into so many preconceived tropes: simple people in touch with nature, the loss of innocence, the Noble Savage (a racist nineteenth-century concept), the destruction of paradise, etc. But while it is easy to imagine the egalitarian Pygmies as living in an idyllic Eden in balance with nature, there is nothing romantic about some facts of traditional Pygmy life: a fairly short life expectancy, occasional malnutrition, parasites, and a high child mortality rate. But traditional Pygmy life is disappearing, and Pygmy people increasingly interact with the non-Pygmy and non-forest world. But the social and political marginalization of the Pygmies, combined with their relative inexperience with urban life and diminutive size, makes it easy for some to cast them as innocent children or worse. They are not children who need to be supervised. In fact, it was a classic justification of colonial powers that so-called “primitive natives†needed to be “saved†from themselves, civilized, and to get on board with (or out of the way of) Progress. Today the Pygmies are exploited and even enslaved by their non-Pygmy Bantu neighbors, while war has made them victims of atrocities. Global demand for wood and minerals means that companies from four continents are heavily logging the Central African rain forests. Living outside the forest, some Pygmies have succumbed to alcoholism. The Pygmies are in a difficult position with no apparent solutions. Should the Pygmies be assisted so that they can preserve their traditions? Is such an idea doomed to failure given the world around them? Instead should the Pygmies be helped to embrace urban society and gain legal rights? Should the Pygmies be allowed to do as they please to make their own choices or be taught how to exist in the high-tech “global village?†If so, how, and by whom? Or is it the way of the world that societies must evolve and change, even if a group such as the Pygmies has perfected a way of living peacefully and in balance with its environment? I do not live how my ancestors of old did; why should the Pygmies? Are Pygmy arts crucial to their survival? Think of Colin Turnbull’s reaction when he discovered that the molimo he was shown wasn’t “traditional†as he expected. Do you, like Turnbull, find yourself wishing that the Pygmies keep things traditional? (And if so, is that for their benefit or for yours?) What, if anything, do you think should or can be done?

Your Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) recognizes you are pursuing your BSN and has asked you to be a member of the nursing evidence-based practice (NEBP) committee. She has advised the members that the purpose is to conduct nursing research studies involving clinical practice problems. Increasing nurses’ awareness of quality and safety concerns will help develop an attitude of inquiry and asking questions (Sherwood & Barnsteiner, 2017). Baccalaureate nurses “collaborate in problem identification, participate in the process of search, retrieval, and documentation of evidence, and integrate evidence using credible databases and internet resources” (AACN, 2008, pp. 16-17).
The CNE has advised all members of the following areas of quality and safety clinical practice that each committee member needs to consider and choose only one as a priority area for conducting a research study. Sources of research problems come from nursing clinical practice (Houser, 2018):

You may consider policies used in other countries for solutions. 1) IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM: What is the problem? – Provide a brief background of the healthcare issue. (one paragraph) 2) WHAT DOES THE SITUATION NEED? This is the equivalent of a “criterion†for solving the issue (federal oversight, municipal guidelines, structural reinforcement, FEMA funding, logistical, punitive measures, inoculation)? Consider what will happen if there is no effective policy intervention for the issue. Some insurance and Medicaid programs cover Doula support to help pregnant women guide the healthcare system.4) What POLICY SOLUTION DO YOU RECOMMEND to prevent this healthcare disaster from happening again. Ketamine is an antagonist drug that acts on the NMDA receptors of the brain. Ketamine is able to stop physical pain by enabling the neurons of the dorsal horn which receive sensory information through the dorsal root region atop the spinal cord, to avoid sensitization. So ketamine also has a strong and effective analgesic effect, by means of disrupting the neurotransmitter Glutamate, which is responsible for pain recognition as well as memory, emotions, and facets of memory, and their consequential functions such as basic learning (Drugs.com, 2014).Ketamine has a multitude of uses in the medical and psychiatric fields, as well as recreational and illicit uses. /in /by adminAssignment Sheet: Analytical Essay 2: Poetry
By the end of the poetry unity you have considered many elements of poetry and have familiarized yourself with terms associated with discussing poems. The purpose of this essay is to give you the opportunity to complete an in-depth analyze a single poem using the basic terminology and concepts for understanding poetry that you have learned about.
Directions:
Choose a poem from any of the following sections in the book and write an essay that analyzes that particular poem in detail makes an argument for how the elements of the poem suggest a specific meaning/theme/message:
Chapter 12: Any poem from “Exploring Gender: An Album†(783-793)
Chapter 13: Any poem from “Homelands: An Album†(821-828)
Chapter 14: Any poem from “Family: An Album†(845-853)
Chapter 15: “London†by William Blake; “Pied Beauty†by Gerard Manley Hopkins; “Blandeur†by Kay Ryan; “white paper #24†by Marth Collins; “Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda†by A.E. Stallings
Chapter 16: “Poems for Further Study†(878-862)
Chapter 17: “Poems for Further Study†(890-898)
Chapter 18: “Poems for Further Study†(914-916); “Words and Music: An Album†(919-928)
You want to analyze the poem in ways that demonstrate your understanding of the elements of poetry (speaker, situation and setting, theme and tone, language, visual imagery and figures of speech, symbol, and sounds). You do not have to include every element of poetry in your essay, but your essay should include enough terminology to demonstrate your ability to discuss the poem in concrete ways.
This essay is argumentative, which means that your thesis should be arguable and should be driven by analysis. Assume that your audience has read the poem but has not thought as deeply about it as you have. Your thesis statement could be something like: “In (title of poem), (poet’s name) uses a central metaphor to create the message that _________________ (here you would be specific about theme/idea/message you think the metaphor suggests)†(That is just one example.)  Be sure to be specific about the specific theme/message/meaning you are arguing for.  Use the sample poetry analysis as an example of a detailed outline for a paper like this and the Sample Essay on p757-759 of our textbook as an example of a what an essay like this might look like.Â
Choose specific examples from the poem that are relevant to your argument, and remember to make sure that your quotes are introduced, analyzed/explained, and properly cited.
Like the first analytical essay, you should not consult outside sources. Your task here is to provide your own in-depth analysis.
