For the other books, you can read sections as you see fit for your papers. 1

General InstructionsFor each exam, please answer one question in 6–7 pages.  Please include the title of the prompt you are responding to. The bibliography page does not count toward your page count. If you use extensive amount of footnotes, then you should write more than 7 pages. The bottom line is that you need to demonstrate a keen understanding of the course materials.  Playing with format inorder to write less will decrease the probability that you can demonstrate your understanding of the materials.Please do not include pictures, charts, or tables in your essay.  Please do not copy/paste lec-ture notes into the text of your response.  Please do not simply paraphrase the lecture notes orthe book.You must demonstrate a keen understanding of the course materials to receive a grade of A (94%) or higher.

Assignment:Select your site for the community educational project.Complete and submit the signed (not typed) Community Health Educational Project Permission Form. (if this cannot be completed in the first week, please speak directly with your professor about options). No typed signatures are permitted- the person in charge at the venue you choose to use for your presentation will need to sign the form. Practice Hours: each module has a minimum required practice hours related to your work on the main education project. Practice hours relate to time spent on project work (Discussion Board work does not apply). Document your hours for Module 1 in Project Concert. Access Project Concert. You should have an estimated 2 – 3 hours for this module. Minimum required hours must be entered into Project Concert for Module 1. Some states/entities require hour logs for certification or employment. It is the student’s professional responsibility to ensure all hours are entered correctly in order to meet these requirements. Please see the Project Concert directions document in the Learning Materials on how to enter hours.Write a short 250-300 word APA formatted paper (include title page, introduction, headings for the body, and conclusion in strict APA format) on: First discuss what your topic is and why you choose that topic related to your community needs. Second discuss why you selected the specific site for your presentation related to your topic and community needs and note where and when (place, date) your presentation will take place. COVID-19 AND WORKPLACE LAW 
What would class be like at this time without a discussion on COVID-19? 
Employers are facing the challenge of how to effectively deal with employment issues pertaining to the virus, and the pandemic while being mindful of the various employment laws. 
I want to share with you some recent developments on managing workplace concerns about the Coronavirus.

Also provided is a link to The Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission www.eeoc.gov (Links to an external site.) On the front page of the website is information regarding the ADA, The Rehabilitation Act, and Covid-19.  The Commission has had a plan of action for Pandemic Preparedness in place since 2009. This was recently updated on March 21, 2020. Just be very clear, Coronavirus is included under ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Protection. 
Harassment of individuals (employees) could be a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This law protects everyone from national origin discrimination in all aspects of employment. This protection includes and prohibits national origin harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Those who choose to play the “blame game” in the workplace for COVID-19 based on nationality beware! 
Those who have an interest in working in HRM should take serious note. It’s an example of how human resource professionals must always remain knowledgeable of both federal and state laws and be prepared to step up and take control. We have a responsibility to protect and preserve the rights of all of our workers. 
We are in uncharted waters as things affecting our personal and work life are changing very quickly almost daily. Therefore, this week, let’s have an open discussion on your thoughts, opinions, and concerns, as to how these laws and guidelines will impact the workplace.

# 1. Instructions: This week we are learning about vitamins. These organic nutrients play a vital role in nutrition. Please select one vitamin and describe “yourself”. Your post should be creative, contain relevant information about the vitamin, and not give away what VITAMIN you selected, as your classmates will be guessing on your identity. Describe the vitamin in the first person, as if you are the vitamin. Do not give away the name of your vitamin in the post or in the reference.  If needed you may use xxxx or ***** to replace where the vitamin name would be in a reference citation.
Once you have made your initial post spend some time reading the descriptions written by your classmates. You will be guessing the “identity” of 3 classmates. In addition to just guessing on the name of their vitamin, share with them what you found most interesting about their vitamin based on their post. Think about what you did or did not know about this vitamin before reading their post (or the chapter). You will need to respond to 3 different vitamins (this also means different from the one you posted as your initial response).
Initial responses should be at least 200 words. After making your initial response, respond to at least 3 classmates (choosing those with a VITAMIN different from your post and the others you already responded on). Responses should be at least 75 words each.

To be “on your game” always requires purposeful practice, reflection, and adjustment based on input and feedback.
