/in /by adminThe first task is to pick a topic of your project. Identify a real-world problem within the scope below that a mobile app might be able to solve. You need to brainstorm a lot through thinking about the difficulties people experience in various contexts that a properly designed mobile app can solve.1. You decide what topic to work on. Don’t try to create yet another app that does what many others already do. Be creative! 2. Target user: The target user needs to be very specific (age, gender, socio-economic status, occupation, etc.) Also, the target user population should be accessible. For instance, do not decide to work with people with dementia or people with visual impairments unless you have access to them. In P3, you will have to recruit some of this population. 3. Problem: The problem should be very specific as well as creative, realistic, and solvable through a mobile application. For instance, you don’t want to work on helping older adults healthy, which is too broad. Be more specific by saying what aspect of “health” you are targeting to help. Picking a specific target user first and thinking about the problems they experience might help. Noted that : No meetup, buddy-finding, activity/calorie/food tracking apps. Please do not pick a problem associated with finding people of interest or self-tracking. Many students who picked these topics ended up creating a copy of Facebook, Meetup, MyFitnesspal, or Weight watcher apps. Not only do these topics lack fun/interesting aspects, but also your outcomes will lack creativity. Don’t waste your semester making something that already exists.Submit a two-paragraph (or longer, about 1 page) description of your problem statement to Canvas by addressing the followings: Who are the target users? What is the context where the problem happens? What is the problem? Why does the problem happen? Why is it an important problem to solve? Why would a smartphone be a proper solution (e.g., why not a website)?

Or reflect on the similarities and differences among your postings.Â
Peer Reply:
The Modules I enjoyed the most were the first three. More specifically, Modules 1 & 3. Statistics has always been intimidating to me. When it’s the basics, I do ok, but when the layers come, I find it challenging. For me, the first module simplified Statistics and showed me how much I use it. That’s important because I know that it’s more difficult for me to absorb if I don’t see how something is used. This showed me how we use the opinions of others to make decisions before buying products or services. Whether that be watching the news and weather channel to determine how we dress or understand what’s happening around us. I got to see how common statistics are and how they’re used in our everyday life. The most difficult modules were 4 & 5. I think it’s because I needed more examples to process the steps in solving the problem. Eventually, I understood it better, but it took more time. Every section had a takeaway, big or small, that can be implemented in my everyday life and future career.

/in /by adminI’m working on a history presentation and need an explanation to help me learn.I Need a presentation made on The Great Wall, China. This presentation can be made on google presentation, Microsoft Presentation, or Prezi. I will be doing the presenting I just need help with the making of the visual slide show. Presentation needs to be between 10-15mins long so at least 10-15 slides with explanations.Research your topic. The first place to look is the UNESCO World Heritage website where you can locate the place you have chosen. It is a great resource for information on the site and will be the best source for determining when the site was nominated and incepted into the list, the current status and use of the site, and whether or not the site is at risk for endangerment.Identify at least three sources of information (four total including the UNESCO link and date accessed) regarding your site. The description of the site provided by UNESCO will likely help lead you to additional sources. I will upload a sample bibliography from my own video. You may use your last slide to provide a bibliography or add citations throughout the powerpoint if you use powerpoint. If you do not use powerpoint or another slide program, please upload a separate file with your list of sources.Prepare a powerpoint or presentation of another format that can be used during your presentation to illustrate various points. Include background on the place (i.e., why is the place important?; how has the space and use of the space changed over time?; when and why was the place nominated and added to the list?; who are the current-day stakeholders?, etc.). I also recommend including at least one map that shows where the site is located. You may choose to include additional maps, diagrams, photos or figures to guide your listener. You may prepare a written text to read during the video presentation or an outline / note cards, whichever is most helpful for you as the presenter.
solved Advertising and the Body: This is your first assignment. For
/in /by adminAdvertising and the Body: This is your first assignment. For this assignment, you are asked to watch the video Killing Us Softly 4 by Jean Kilbourne. After viewing the video, look through recent popular magazines, hardcopies or on the Internet, and see if you can find advertisements that objectify women in order to sell a product. Or watch some TV commercials or browse the Internet or YouTube for some current ads (from 2010 onwards). You can look for beer commercials; commercials for food, chocolate; shoes; cars; perfume; detergents or any house cleaning products, etc. Study these images (or image) in the context you have chosen (ex: Canadian, US, European etc), then write a short paper (about 2-4 pages, double spaced) about how advertising objectifies women in order to sell products, and how this objectification creates “the sexualization of culture.†Try to see if the ad constructs a representation that reflects the politics of the context in which it appears: are the objectifications reproduced in your ad also recurrent in the social-political context of the day? If yes, how can such phenomenon be explained? You might want to revisit here one of the feminist dictums “the personal is political” in order to think how to underscore the critique of your ad in the political context discussed. An ad is never just a representation of a product, or an image that is meant to entertain; it is rather a manifestation (creation, production, circulation) of a social and / or political sentiment of its time.
Please remember to use a formal academic structure: introduction, thesis, main body of argument(s) and conclusion. Any citation style is fine, as long as it is consistently and correctly used throughout the paper.
This assignment asks you to go one step further, by examining the influence of advertising on you personally and your self-worth, but also how you believe advertising affects other women and  men. Include your ad with your essay.
