In the civil war 600,000 people died, people that have never gone outside of their town were now in places they never even knew. We are told that after the war was over and the Union won that was when slavery was ended, but people tend to disagree because slavery still exested in some other from. #2“Why We Fight” video made me doubtful about if the military of the U.S. works for purposes other than serving to protect freedom and maintain safety for the American people. The U.S. uses military force for other countries and for benefit politics. Besides, I’ve heard that before about Saddam Hussain and Osama Bin Laden was related to the U.S.; however, I did not know that Saddam Hussain was a CIA asset and Osama Bin Laden trained by the CIA. These are so shocking and disappointing facts. As we know, Saddam Hussain is a dictator found guilty of crimes against humanity, and thousands of people died during Saddam Hussain’s Iraq. Also, Osama bin Laden is known for his role in 9/11. It is truly disappointing that the U.S. has a relation with these brutal people.
