I’m working on a nursing discussion question and need a sample draft to help me understand better.

Conduct a comprehensive cultural and spiritual assessment on a patient that you see in your clinical experience this week.  If you were not in clinical this week conduct this assessment on a professional colleague, friend, or family member.
Document the assessment in the context of a subjective data set that you will use as your discussion post.  Use one of mnemonics presented in this week’s lecture materials to guide your spiritual assessment. (You can use either FICA or HOPE assessment tool just like the examples)
Responses need to address all components of the question, demonstrate critical thinking and analysis and include peer-reviewed journal evidence to support the student’s position.
Please be sure to validate your opinions and ideas with in-text citations and corresponding references in APA format.
EXAMPLES:
1)
Culture and religion heavily influence people’s lifestyles. In many cases, cultural traditions and religious practices can affect the way healthcare is provided. For example, Muslim women who dress in modesty would prefer a female practitioner or nurse. Often, patients ask for certain changes in healthcare due to their religious beliefs, which is an important factor when providing quality healthcare. The patient is in a comfortable environment by being able to take out this request.
An assessment of culture and spirituality can be conducted using the FICA spirituality tool. This tool focuses on Faith or Beliefs, Importance and Influence, Community, and Address (Spiritual Assessment Tool-FICA, 2006). Spirituality is an essential part of mental and physical health. When a person experiences spiritual distress, they are more likely to suffer from depression and anxiety (Puchalski, 2021). Using this tool, I conducted my initial spirituality and cultural assessment. It is very important to ask for consent so before I carried out the initial assessment I asked if the patient was comfortable with answering the questions.
F: (Faith or belief)
What is your faith or belief?
“I am Sikh.”
Do you consider yourself spiritual or religious?
“I consider myself a very religious person, it is a part of who I am.”
What things do you believe in that give meaning to your life?
“I believe in keeping Gods name in my heart, working hard and making a good and honest living, and giving to those in need. These are the main beliefs in Sikhism.”
I: (Importance and Influence )
Is it important in your life?
“I consider being Sikh a very important part of my life, I pray and I live by its teachings.”
What influence does it have on how you take care of yourself?
“I meditate quite a lot, I feel as though it keeps me calm and I don’t think negatively in many ways due to it.”
C: (Community)
Are you part of a spiritual or religious community?
“I go to a Gurudwara, a Sikh temple, every week and most of the people there are very religious and practice Sikhism. My family is Sikh as well.”
Is this of support to you and how?
“It does support me, I enjoy being around people with the same mindset and it is usually a place where there is a sense of calm and serenity.”
A: (Address)
Are there any restrictions you would like for me to apply when I give out your healthcare due to your religion?
“I believe there is no medical reason to interfere with my beliefs.”

2)
A culture is defined as the beliefs, customs, and material traits of a group or individuals. A patient’s cultural background influences their perception of a provider and their adherence to their treatment regimens. For instance, if a patient has a bias against a provider due to their race or religion, they may not follow the treatment plan. Also, if a non-English speaking patient comes into the hospital, you must consider their cultural needs and accommodate them. Being culturally aware can help identify and address the biases that contribute to the wide disparities in healthcare. Understanding these biases can help improve the quality of care and reduce the cost of care (Edgoose et al., 2019).  Therefore, being culturally aware is just as crucial as being culturally competent in addressing the needs of people with different cultural backgrounds.
Consequently, spirituality and religion are often present in modern healthcare. For instance, a patient with cultural beliefs is not able to trust doctors. Therefore, as part of the spiritual assessment, I used the HOPEassessment tool (Saguil & Phelps, 2012). My patient is a 77-year-old African-American female that lives alone. The patient reports she was taught to always trust in God for everything. Because of her cultural beliefs, she does not always trust doctors because she believes in prayer and home remedies for most treatment.  To that end, I asked the following questions (Saguil & Phelps, 2012):
H: sources of hope
What are your sources of hope, strength, comfort, and peace?
“God is my strength, and I rely on him for my salvation. He gives me peace during difficult times.”
O: organized religion
Are you part of a religious or spiritual community?
“I am a deaconess board member at my church. I have been a member for 49-years..”
Does your church family/religion help you?
“When I need to talk to someone, I can call the church members and the pastor. This time, I didn’t want to bother anyone”.
P: personal spirituality and practices
Do you have personal spiritual beliefs?
“I believe in God and that He will take care of me.”
What aspects of your spirituality or spiritual practices do you find most helpful?
“I pray daily and read my Bible. I love to sing to God.”
E: effects on medical care and end-of-life issues
Does your current situation affect your ability to do the things that usually help you spiritually?
“I know I have several medical issues, and the devil is trying to destroy me, but nothing will stop me from being with the Lord.”
Is there anything that your provider can do to help you access the resources that usually help you?
“I just want to take my medication like the doctor said for my depression, and the devil can get out of my way.”

Review the Resources and identify a clinical issue of interest that can form the basis of a clinical inquiry.
Develop a PICO(T) question to address the clinical issue of interest you identified in Module 2 for the Assignment. This PICOT question will remain the same for the entire course.
Use the key words from the PICO(T) question you developed and search at least four different databases in the Walden Library. Identify at least four relevant systematic reviews or other filtered high-level evidence, which includes meta-analyses, critically-appraised topics (evidence syntheses), critically-appraised individual articles (article synopses). The evidence will not necessarily address all the elements of your PICO(T) question, so select the most important concepts to search and find the best evidence available.
Reflect on the process of creating a PICO(T) question and searching for peer-reviewed research.

The Assignment (Evidence-Based Project)
Part 2: Advanced Levels of Clinical Inquiry and Systematic Reviews
Create a 6- to 7-slide PowerPoint presentation in which you do the following:

Identify and briefly describe your chosen clinical issue of interest.
Describe how you developed a PICO(T) question focused on your chosen clinical issue of interest.
Identify the four research databases that you used to conduct your search for the peer-reviewed articles you selected.
Provide APA citations of the four relevant peer-reviewed articles at the systematic-reviews level related to your research question. If there are no systematic review level articles or meta-analysis on your topic, then use the highest level of evidence peer reviewed article.
Describe the levels of evidence in each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, including an explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews for clinical research. Be specific and provide examples.

Article 1
I choose the article “Client retention in community treatment: completer and non-completer experiences of an individualized, needs-based partner abuse intervention program.” since it relates to the clinical issue of interest which is understanding the issues that influenced late recovery of the client. The peer reviewed article was used to highlight the importance of incorporating therapeutic alliance and providing structured individualized treatment to participants of partner abuse intervention programs (Pearson et al., 2020). The research methodology applied was qualitative which focused on elaborating the target issue through data collected from books and other internet sources or materials. Qualitative research helps maintain good relationships between researchers and study participants hence the delivery of quality information. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews which were completed by 14 participants. The interviews added a strength for the research since information shared by the participants was valid based on their subjective experiences.
Article 2
I selected the article “High risk situations predicting relapse in self-referred addicts to Bushehr province substance abuse treatment centres” since it provides a deeper explanation of the effective strategies for relapse prevention which is a major clinical issue of interest. The study was used to evaluate high risk situations for relapse self-referred drug addicts. Researchers used IDTS Marlatt questionnaires to conduct analytical and descriptive statistics. The questionnaires added a strength to the study since they assessed high risk situations that influence relapse on self-referred addicts in substance abuse centres (Shafiei et al., 2014). Questionnaires are more practical and easier to analyse which is a major strength when using them to collect data for quantitative studies. The qualitative study helped highlight major clinical and psychological strategies used to minimize the high rates of relapse.
Article 3
I selected the article “Relapse Coping Strategies in Young Adults Addicts: A Quantitative Study in Iran” since it provides a highlight of the cognitive-behavioural coping approach used to prevent relapse among young adult addicts. The coping strategies are used to replace incompatible behavior with compatible answers. Research was conducted through a quantitative study whereby a sample of 70 self-referred drug addicts were examined (Shafiei et al., 2016). The participants shared information about relapse coping strategies through questionnaires. Quantitative research enables generalization of research findings through objective and accurate information shared by the study participants. The data collection method was efficient since it helped highlight coping skills effective for young adults. Information shared through the questionnaire was valid and efficient, a factor that influenced successful research.
Article 4
I selected the article “A qualitative exploration of social support during treatment for severe alcohol use disorder and recovery” since it relates to the clinical issue of social support required for recovering addicts. Data collected through the study explains complex issues and barriers experienced by individuals recovering. Qualitative research was conducted to help incorporate the human experience when undergoing treatment for severe alcohol use disorder. Researchers conducted interviews in 2014 and 2015 and an in-depth thematic analysis of topics related to social support (Brooks et al., 2017). The interviews presented a strength in the study since they highlighted the relationship between quality and nature of sustained sobriety when patients transition from the research facilities in charge of rehabilitation treatment in the community.

Babies cling to their caregivers because they have formed a strong attachment to them. If they do not, then they have not formed an attachment to them. Stranger anxiety is apprehension in the presence of unfamiliar people. Separation anxiety is apprehension when separated from their caregiver. Both of these usually peek in young toddlers. Babies perceive themselves as part of their caregivers and their surroundings.

Toddlers tend to flip back and forth between their emotions as well as testing their new independence while still being clingy. Awareness of cause and effect develops when they use their sense of curiosity. The example provided in our slide show is that a toddler presses a button. After they press the button they learn that a bell always rings when they touch it. Because of their curiosity, toddlers are constantly exploring. This tends to overshadow all of their other needs. It is important to remain vigilant with toddlers to make sure they remain safe while exploring.

Preschoolers can make plans and decisions. This is because preschoolers become more conscious of their own interests and intentions. Preschoolers learn to accept responsibility by doing challenging things. You can help them learn responsibility by never doing something for them that they can do themselves and by helping them learn the rules. Preschoolers develop a positive sense of self by developing their self-concept and self-esteem. These are directly affected by those around them. Our textbook says that as they become more adept at language they also become more susceptible to the opinions of others.

Characteristics of infant behavior- Infants display behavior reactions suggestive of emotional states as early as the three or four months of life. The four earliest emotional states they seem to experience are surprise, distress in response to discomfort, relaxation, and excitement.
Why do babies cling- This refers to a child needing lots of attention from a person. Just so they do not feel like they are being ignored by anyone. Also they might just want someone to play with instead of each other all of the time. Toddlers or older children may cry, cling or even have a full blown meltdown if their parent is leaving them. In most cases, these reactions are perfectly normal.
Separation and Stranger Anxiety- This is when a child is around someone they do not know. That is why it is important to have children around the right people, so he or she can feel secured. Now separation anxiety can be if their away from someone that they care about like, siblings, parents or friends. Then Stranger Anxiety the distress that young children experience when they are exposed to people who are unfamiliar to them.
Babies and their surroundings- A lot of babies know where they are when they are out. Surroundings is a big thing in children’s lives, it gives them a chance to be around people that they never knew existed.
Characteristics of toddler behavior- As they enter the toddler years, we watch their cognitive, social, and emotional development blossom as they explore their independence and place in the world. These stages are exciting, but they can also come with challenging behaviors like tantrums, aggression and lying.
1. Yes I think toddlers can control their feelings and actions, because even though they misbehave especially in public they are aware what they are doing around people. Feelings- Some toddlers will cry or try not to in front of people by stopping the tears from running down their face, I call that hiding their emotions from others. Actions- Some will have tantrum in places such as restaurants, stores and at school. They cause scenes like that to get attention from others. But they will most definitely keep it under control to keep themselves from being embarrassed.
2, Awareness cause and effect develop- It develops in the child’s brain. It can go to their system, to figure out how their mind works. Then work it’s way down to their body.
3. Needs for exploration- Kids need to explore new and exciting things, so they can be involved with the world. When they take a risk to explore things, it gives them the chance to do more things with their lives , and as they get older more of these out door and in door explorations will be more clear to them in time.
Characteristics of preschool behavior- What to expect preschoolers are curious, easily distracted, on independence and still developing self regulation. Preschool will help the child learn about getting along with others and following rules. Common preschooler behavior concerns are tantrums, bad habits and also lying.
1. Plans and decisions made by preschoolers- I do believe that many preschoolers can make their own plans and decisions without any assistance from parents. Their very capable of doing those things on their own it is really a life lesson they will carry with them forever, they can look back on what they have done and say I planned my own day and make a lifelong change in my day. Give them some credit kids are very smart to accomplish things that need to be done, with a little help from parents.
2. How do preschoolers develop a positive sense of self- They can develop this from how their mind works. A sense of self can also be said as a sense of mind which means he or she have a mind of their own and it can be used to make wise decisions. At ages 4 and 5 this a great way to learn how to mature a little bit, each and every child thinks differently, which is also okay, As long as he or she is thinking positively they can and will succeed no matter how old they are or how their mind works.
3. Accepting responsibility from preschoolers- Preschoolers will learn to accept being responsible in time. What that would mean is that he or she will become more independent by themselves. Also by learning right from wrong, now this is something that they can either learn to live with or try to adjust to. No child is perfect but if he or she is being taught the right thing, they can accept it depending on the child and the parent. They learn from their guardian to what to do right and what is the wrong thing to do I learn a lot of responsibility when I was their age. I am still learning and that is okay it is better that they learn this at a younger age then not to learn it at all.

solved Create a 6-9-page analysis and reflection on why emotional intelligence

Create a 6-9-page analysis and reflection on why emotional intelligence is a key competency for health care and its role in promoting teamwork and collaboration.

INTRODUCTIONThis assessment is dedicated to emotional intelligence (EQ). Emotional intelligence was pioneered by Daniel Goleman and has four main components: self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and relationship management (Daft, 2015). Emotional intelligence is loosely defined as an individual’s ability to “perceive, identify, understand and manage emotions in self and others” (Daft, 2015, p. 146). Experts argue that emotional intelligence is a better predictor of successful decision making and interpersonal relationships than cognitive intelligence, or IQ (Daft, 2015).Additionally, emotional intelligence is now recognized as a critical factor in leadership development. Your work on this assessment will build on the completion of a personal leadership assessment that examines five critical domains from a high level that you have already completed in the first assessment. You will look specifically at emotional intelligence. By completing this assessment, you will evaluate your EQ and explore the role that EQ plays in successful leadership.

DEMONSTRATION OF PROFICIENCYBy successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the course competencies through the following assessment scoring guide criteria:

Competency 1: Assess one’s leadership style in a professional setting.

Discuss the different elements of emotional intelligence.
Analyze the reason for health care leaders to develop their emotional intelligence skills.

Competency 2: Explain cultural competence and its relevance to health care management.

PREPARATIONThis assessment is based on the media piece in the Vila Health: Emotional Intelligence activity. Be sure you have worked through the scenario before you start this assessment.
INSTRUCTIONSThis assessment has three main parts, a discussion of the different elements of emotional intelligence as it relates to the scenario from the Vila Health media piece, a self-evaluation of your current state of emotional intelligence, and an analysis of the impact and benefits of health care leaders being competent with regards to emotional intelligence.
Part 1: Elements of Emotional IntelligenceRelevant Scoring Guide Criteria:

Discuss the different elements of emotional intelligence.
Demonstrate effective communication through writing and proper use of APA style.
Communicate in a professional and effective manner, writing content clearly and logically, with the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. For this first part of your assessment, discuss the scene and what happened between Christina Robledo and the two nurses. You can draw upon your answers to the question from the media piece, as well as consider the following:
Do you feel the nurses demonstrated strong emotional intelligence in their communications with Christina? Why or why not?
What are the key elements of emotional intelligence that were demonstrated in this scenario?
Which key elements of emotional intelligence were lacking from the scenario?

How might the scenario have turned out differently if these elements had been demonstrated?

Part 2: Emotional Intelligence Self-EvaluationRelevant Scoring Guide Criteria:

Evaluate personal competence with regards to emotional intelligence.
Demonstrate effective communication through writing and proper use of APA style.
Communicate in a professional and effective manner, writing content clearly and logically, with the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The second part of the assessment will focus on a brief self-evaluation of your current state with regards to emotional intelligence. Consider the following after using the elements of emotional intelligence from the resources in this course, your personal research, and the ones you applied to your discussion of the Vila Health media piece:
Reflect on your interaction with others

Do you feel you are able to identify and understand others’ emotions?
Are you able to control your emotions when dealing with others?
Which specific elements of emotional intelligence do you feel are the strongest in you?
Which elements of emotional intelligence would you like to improve?

Analyze the reason for health care leaders to develop their emotional intelligence skills.
Explain the impact of emotional intelligence on relationships and communication effectiveness in health care organizations.
Establish the impact of emotional intelligence on cultural competence in health care organizations.
Discuss how emotional intelligence promotes teamwork and collaboration in culturally diverse organizations.
Demonstrate effective communication through writing and proper use of APA style.
Communicate in a professional and effective manner, writing content clearly and logically, with the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. This third and final part of the assessment requires you to analyze the need, impact, and benefits of health care leaders being competent with regards to emotional intelligence. As you work to address the scoring guide criteria relevant to this section consider the following:
Describe the elements of emotional intelligence and explain why it is important for health care leaders to develop their skills in each area.
Thinking back to the Vila Health media piece, if you were one of the nurses, how could you have communicated differently with Christinato to acknowledge her concerns and her emotions?

Are there any specific examples from your professional or personal life where you have utilized your emotional intelligence to improve communication with others?

Either in relation to the Vila Health media piece or your professional practice and career, how does an organization’s culture impact visibility or need of emotionally intelligent leaders and individuals.

How does an emotionally intelligent environment impact professional practice and personal interactions within an organization?

With regards to either the Vila Health media piece or your professional practice and career, how can emotional intelligence be used to improve teamwork and collaboration?

How might one be able to tell if teamwork and collaboration are valued at an organization?

solved Write a 3-5 page paper in which you analyze why

Write a 3-5 page paper in which you analyze why regulatory agencies began monitoring quality in health care, explain how regulatory agencies have impacted quality of care, and provide an evaluation of quality.
Introduction
Early attempts at quality efforts were limited to the resources, knowledge, and environment in which health care services and treatment were rendered. As medical education and research advanced so did the knowledge of and focus on quality improvement efforts. Basic functions including handwashing and sterile environments were two of the many simple advancements resulting in dramatic improvements in outcomes and overall quality.
Regulatory agencies have directly impacted health care organizations’ focus on, and attention to, quality improvement. Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission offers accreditation to various health care organizations who demonstrate compliance with established regulatory standards. Combined with various government agencies, initiatives have been implemented that require health care organizations to report on quality measures, thereby making their quality performance transparent throughout the industry.
As a leader in the health care industry, understanding historical perspectives of quality, regulatory oversight, and medical malpractice will allow you to effectively lead your organization to meet or exceed its strategic goals related to improved outcomes, increased reimbursements, and reduced cost.

There are a lot of people already using APA 7 so this might be a helpful tool (even if you have not yet transitioned).  I keep a laminated copy right by my computer so I can check on anything that is confusing.  A few notes that are key points:1. APA 6 has the Running head: ALL CAPS on title page for header. APA 7 has only the page #.2. Neither version (ever) has the word Introduction as a heading. No matter what any directions may tell you, it is not correct APA in either version to use that word as a heading.3. For references of more than two authors, APA 7 uses only the first one and then et al., No period after et and no comma after the name of the first author.4.  APA 7 does not use the words Retrieved from or the Retrieved date in the references. Glance at the sample paper to see how this should look. Also, if it is a book, the place of publication is not needed.5.  Periods go on the outside of the parenthesis and not before them (Alles, 2021). 6. Don’t use first names or degrees in your references, and also don’t include any degrees such as PhD, MD, JD, MA, etc.

Supply chain management: Strategy, planning and operation (7th ed.). Boston, MA: Pearson.Assessment InstructionsZara is the flagship brand for Europe’s fastest growing apparel retailer and has about 1500 stores in major cities around the globe. For this assessment, consider that you work as a manager in Zara’s corporate organization. Zara’s leadership team is considering changes in their supply chain management practices, and your manager asked you to prepare a report that analyzes their current practices as input to their decision-making process. Your report will be reviewed by the overall leadership team. After conducting some research on the topic, you identified a highly useful resource, which is a summary of Zara’s supply chain management practices provided in the Harvard Business Review article, “Rapid Fire Fulfillment,” (linked in the Resources under the Required Resources heading). Your manager agreed with you about that resource being highly useful, and the two of you further agreed that your report should address the following key questions as items Zara’s leadership team will be interested in:Analyze and explain why the company’s supply chain strategy is successful. As part of that, examine the effect of the selection and management of suppliers and determination of information needs and systems.Analyze the importance of the company’s fast response and information infrastructure as related to the company’s supply chain strategy. For example, what advantage does Zara gain against the competition by having a very responsive supply chain? What information infrastructure does Zara need in order to operate its production, distribution, and fast fashion retail network effectively?Analyze how the company’s unique replenishment strategy satisfies customers. For example, what advantage does the company gain from replenishing its stores multiple times a week compared to a less frequent schedule? How does the frequency of replenishment affect the improved customer satisfaction? What information infrastructure does Zara need in order to operate its production, distribution, and fast fashion retail network effectively?Based on a leadership team audience, your report should be well organized and written in clear, succinct language. Target 600–800 words. Attributing sources in your professional and academic work supports your analysis and conclusions and demonstrates ethical behavior and academic honesty. Following APA rules for attributing sources provides consistency and ensures that readers can locate original sources if desired.
