/in /by adminAssignmentThe sign of an effective clinician is the ability to identify the criteria that distinguish the diagnosis from any other possibility (otherwise known as a differential diagnosis). An ambiguous clinical diagnosis can lead to a faulty course of treatment and hurt the client more than it helps. In this Assignment, using the DSM-5 and all of the skills you have acquired to date, you assess a client. This is a culmination of learning from all the weeks covered so far.To prepare: Use a differential diagnosis process and analysis of the Mental Status Exam in the case provided by your instructor to determine if the case meets the criteria for a clinical diagnosis.Submit a 4- to 5-page paper in which you:Provide the full DSM-5 diagnosis. Remember, a full diagnosis should include the name of the disorder, ICD-10-CM code, specifiers, severity, and the Z codes (other conditions that may need clinical attention).Explain the full diagnosis, matching the symptoms of the case to the criteria for any diagnoses used.Identify 2–3 of the close differentials that you considered for the case and have ruled out. Concisely explain why these conditions were considered but eliminated.Identify the assessments you recommend to validate treatment. Explain the rationale behind choosing the assessment instruments to support, clarify, or track treatment progress for the diagnosis.Explain your recommendations for initial resources and treatment. Use scholarly resources to support your evidence-based treatment recommendations.Explain how you took cultural factors and diversity into account when making the assessment and recommending interventions.Identify client strengths, and explain how you would utilize strengths throughout treatment.Identify specific knowledge or skills you would need to obtain to effectively treat this client, and provide a plan on how you will do so.
solved First, this week, I asked you to complete a 5-minute
/in /by adminFirst, this week, I asked you to complete a 5-minute meditation with me. Â So, I would like to hear from you how it went! Â Was it easy or hard? Â Were you able to create spaces between your thoughts when you just focused on your breath? Â What could be some benefits to meditation? Â And how do you think it helps Buddhists achieve greater awareness of the world and eventually enlightenment?
Second, last week you heard the story of Siddhartha Gautama – the prince who lived a life of complete hedonism, then renounced it all to find enlightenment. Â This story is central to Buddhism, but many devout Buddhists say that it’s probably not “true” in a historical sense, and that whether or not the story actually happened doesn’t even matter. Â
For them, the story is important because it teaches an important truth about how to live one’s life – one shouldn’t live completely for pleasure and oneself, but also one shouldn’t deny themselves everything. Â Neither of these paths leads to enlightenment. Â One should follow the example of the Buddha, even if he wasn’t a real historical figure.
Can a myth be important even if it’s not historically true? Â Can you think of any other examples of stories or myths in religion or society that are probably not actually true, but are important nonetheless? Â
This is connected to another central idea of Buddhism, which is the rejection of blind belief. Â The Buddha taught that you shouldn’t believe anything unless it has proven to be true for yourself. Â He told his disciples never to believe his teachings, but to try it out for themselves and see if it helps them find greater calm and clarity in their lives. Â
Is this an appropriate attitude for a religion? Â Or should a religious tradition include some sense of faith or trust in the tradition/teacher that they don’t question EVERYTHING a religious authority figure says?
solved I come from a Hispanic family, Cuban descent and there
/in /by adminI come from a Hispanic family, Cuban descent and there is so many superstitions in our culture. Some I must be honest with you are quite ridiculous you just laugh. One superstition in my family that I do still till this very day is my grandmother would see me always with my purse on the floor. She told me people who always have their purse on the floor will never get money. I thought this was ridiculous but for some reason I still followed her superstition. And till this day, I never have it on the floor. It’s like a reflex. The fear my grandmother put upon me about not attracting money stayed in my brain. Superstition is defined as a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation. An irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition. A notion maintained despite evidence. Now that the concept of superstition is outlined basically, it can now be determined how operant conditioning can be applied to this occurrence. Because superstitions deal with ‘the belief or practice’ due to ignorance, fear or something that is not known; or even an error in an initial perception which then bears off to a notion of something conceptualized by the person that tends to head off into the extreme; a stimulus is then born into becoming the conditioned stimulus.(What Is Operant Conditioning and How Does It Work, 2021). This then leads to a conditioned response in reaction to the first few times this same initial stimulus is made known to this person. Depending on the character and personality of this individual, this conditioned stimulus garners a response after being reinforced continually until it becomes the belief or practice necessary for it to be a superstition. It makes sense for me now why I follow the superstition naturally.

Greeley-Evans Weld County School District 6 (D6) has 21,833 students and of those students, 28 are American Indian or Alaska Native, 61 are Asian, 599 are Black or African American, 13,653 are Hispanic or Latino, 6,632 are White, 43 are Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, and 392 are two or more races (D6, n.d.). D6 is a highly diverse organization and therefore, the district is culturally and linguistically competent. My husband is a high school teacher in the school district, and he has a Culturally Linguistically Diverse (CLD) certification to help co-teach in English and math classes that have a high population of students who don’t speak English as their primary language. Some other ways D6 embraces diversity are with the Migrant Education Program, Families in Transition Program, and the Diversity Action Team. I have had the opportunity to observe a couple of Diversity Action Team meetings which are comprised of a few members of nutrition services, student wellness leaders, and community representatives; this team works to educate the D6 staff and students about the diversity of the district. To improve D6s cultural and linguistic competence, one recommendation I have is to improve the relationship between students and their teachers, so they have the motivation to keep learning and overcoming challenges. This may look like more training and more education for D6 teachers or even asking students directly how they may benefit from different teaching styles. Becoming culturally and linguistically diverse is an ongoing process, but it is a crucial one to partake in for both students and staff.

/in /by adminArgumentative Essay Discussion BoardThis discussion board was created to give you an opportunity to share your rhetorical analysis rough drafts and get some feedback from the class. I will also provide you feedback on this as quickly as possible in my private comments.Drafts that are too short, overly broad/vague, off topic or showing no effort to incorporate the readings and worksheets will not receive full credit.Discussion PromptOnce you have finished your rough draft of the rhetorical analysis paper, you should upload it here. Ideally, it should already include your Works Cited page. I would recommend cutting and pasting the text directly in to the text box (as I think you will make things slightly easier for your classmates), but if that (for instance) causes too many formatting issues, feel free to attach it to your comment instead. If you do not post a rough draft, you will not be able to earn a grade higher than 70% on the final draft, regardless of how good it is.After people have uploaded their drafts, you are to pick two classmates and comment on their posts–at least one paragraph each giving them feedback about their drafts. Rules & Guidelines:1. Be nice. Start with something they do well. Talk about a particular part in the paper where they make a good point, are convincing, interesting or informative (or something else they do well).2. Give them helpful feedback: specific, linked to specific passages in the paper, relating to one of the important parts of the paper discussed in the worksheets you used while writing the paper. Try to pick something they are struggling with and that you really felt you understood well while working on your own paper. Be nice about this, as well, but also be honest. DO NOT neurotically tell them each and every thing they’ve gotten wrong. This, generally, isn’t helpful to people, even if it feels helpful.

/in /by adminhttps://docs.google.com/document/d/11NSlAD4Oz_nrln…Your task is to craft a rough draft that gives a general sense of where your story begins, how it develops, and how it ends. You will then share your rough draft with your small group members. You can imagine that you are sitting in a circle in a classroom and sharing your idea with your group members. To begin, you may create a new document or continue working on your memo writing document. You will craft your ROUGH draft on that document and copy & paste the draft into this discussion board. As you begin your drafting process, you may consider the following questions: Where does the story begin in terms of location, time, who/what are involved? In other words, how do you want to situate your reader? What is the story about? Whose story is it? What is your role as the writer? What sensory details do you want to use for the reader to feel your story? What sources (both interview and secondary sources) have you identified and will you use? What interview quote can you use to bring the story to life? What type of story (Conquering fear/evil, journey, overcoming obstacles, empowerment, cautionary tale, reinvention or renewal, etc.) is it? What tone (intimate, playful, sad, serious, etc.) do you want to adopt? How will you organize the story? Where does it begin and where does it end? Since this is a rough draft, not everything have to be worked out. For example, you can tell your readers your plans about how you will integrate a specific source into a section in parentheses. Finally, at the bottom or top of the rough draft document, add a cover memo in which you discuss any concerns you may have about your rough draft and/or ask the peer reader questions to comment on specific points or areas. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JhsBSI-TgofS6U…https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JS6YlSPVL0nB8O…
